Jungkook silently cursed as he looked at the duo talking with Taehyung. Him and Taehyung were at a restaurant for dinner when they were interrupted by Park Bogum.
Bogum was with Jisoo, Jimin's colleague, so Taehyung couldn't be rude and ignore when Bogum came to their table to talk. Jungkook could actually see Jisoo looking rather uncomfortable with it so he gave her a small smile. It seemed like the girl doesn't approve Bogum's shameless ways.
After few seconds of listening to Bogum's overly friendly voice, Jungkook was so annoyed that he had to excuse himself for a restroom break. He hadn't gone inside and just watched from near the door, without being visible to the group at the table.
It had only been about a minute, but both Jungkook and JK were mad as hell. And also, very curious. Like how the hell does Bogum keeps running in to them like this? Is he stalking them? Their dinner plans were not shared with anyone, they literally picked the restaurant as they drove past it. Jungkook did not believe Bogum's bullshit about it being a coincident but what else would it be?
Taehyung was looking kind of irritated so Jungkook decided to go back. No matter how much annoyed he was with the situation, he couldn't let Taehyung suffer it all alone. They are in this together, after all.
Taehyung looked up when Jungkook walked closer and gave the younger a soft smile. "Baby."
Jungkook could barely manage to hold back the snicker, as he saw Bogum's reaction to that pet name. Wanting to rattle him even more, Jungkook leaned down and gave a soft kiss to Taehyung.
The elder kissed back for few seconds and they parted with smiles on their faces. Jungkook turned and gave a little smirk to Bogum, before sitting on his chair, and was delighted to see the latter fuming.
Right at that moment, a waiter came with their food and Jisoo quickly got up from the chair.
"Oh, your food is here." Jisoo gave a hesitant smile to others, before looking at Bogum pointedly. "We should stop bothering them, Gummie."
Bogum looked as if he would indeed like to bother some more, but then he smiled sweetly. "Of course. Guess I'll see you around, Taehyung-ssi."
Taehyung didn't bother giving an answer to that and the duo walked back to their own table, which was luckily few tables over.

"Oh my fucking God!!" Jungkook cursed under his breath and Taehyung placed his hand on Jungkook's thigh under the table.
Taehyung gently ran his hand up and down Jungkook's thigh, and could see the younger relaxing with each second. "Okay now?"
Jungkook snorted at that. "That moron! What does he think of himself?!"
"I know baby." Taehyung gave an apologetic smile. "He's shameless. But please don't let it ruin the night."
Jungkook closed his eyes and took few deep breaths. When he opened his eyes few seconds later, some of the fire in it had left and he gave a small smile to Taehyung.
"You're right. I'm sorry."
"Hey, no need to apologise." Taehyung reached for Jungkook's hand, brought it near his lips and gave a soft kiss to the palm. "Shall we eat?"
"Yeah."

Jungkook was done with dinner and was in the restroom freshening up when the door opened. He instinctively looked through the mirror at the person entered, and was annoyed to see Bogum again.
He was silent for a second before voicing the question he had all evening. "You know, I've really been wondering. Are you stalking us?"
A flash of an unclear emotion passed through Bogum's eyes before he masked it with a sickly sweet smile. "Not you, just Taehyung."
Jungkook scoffed at that unashamed response. "What the fuck is wrong with you?! I told you to leave my boyfriend alone."
"And I told you that I plan to stick around, just in case. Who knows, you might not be boyfriends for long."
"He's my mate, you asshole!!"
Bogum's dropped his smile at that insult and a scowl took it's place. "No need of insults, Jungkook-ssi. I'm just stating the facts."
Bogum took a step closer so he was actually in Jungkook's personal space. "It wouldn't matter if he's your mate, since he's not interested in marking you. He would have done that already, if he was sure about this relationship. Regardless of being mates or not."
"You know, many might say that marking is a decision of an Alpha, but I disagree. It's actually the choice of an Omega, because we are the ones that are getting bounded for life. And also, it's an Omega's... uhh.. talent to make their Alpha want to mark them. We are the ones that can lead the Alpha to make that choice."
"The very fact that you stand here, without a claiming mark on your neck, proves that I have a good chance with Taehyung. And trust me, I know how to get my Alpha to mark me. You, on the other hand-"

Bogum was not able to say anything else because Jungkook threw a powerful punch at his face.
"Owwwee.." A painful wail resonated through the restroom and Bogum doubled down in pain.
He was holding his nose and when he pulled out his hand a bit, it was covered with blood.
Jungkook dashed out of the restroom, ignoring the painful cries that was coming from there.
"We are leaving. Now!" Jungkook said to Taehyung, as soon he reached the elder and walked towards the exit without even looking back.
After the initial moment of shock, Taehyung hurried to follow the younger, after making a quick stop to settle their bill. When he reached the car, Jungkook was leaning on to it with an enraged face.
Taehyung quickly unlocked the car, and watched as Jungkook get on and slamming the door shut. He hurried to the driver's side, bewildered with the sudden turn of events.
The car ride back was silent and uncomfortable. After few initial attempts to know what had happened, Taehyung gave up and just drove silently. Jungkook looked utterly pissed-off and Taehyung didn't want to make the situation worse.
When they reached home, Jungkook quickly got out and jogged in to the house and straight to their room, much to the confusion of Jimin, who was watching a movie with a bowl of popcorn.
He gave a questioning look to Taehyung, who followed Jungkook few seconds later, and the latter just shrugged his shoulders, before going towards his room.
Jimin looked back and forth at the movie and his popcorn few times, before deciding that he should watch the movie latter. He was in the mood for some lighthearted comedy today, not for real life-action movie.
Maybe he should go for a night run. The moon does look specially beautiful today.

Taehyung cautiously opened their bedroom door to see Jungkook standing next to the window, with his hands folded over his chest.
"Koo?" Taehyung called in a soft voice, but Jungkook didn't show any signs that he even heard it. "What happened?"
"Trust me, hyungie-" Jungkook's voice was close to a sneer. "You don't want to know."
Taehyung quickly walked towards the younger and turned him around to see his face. "No. I do want to know what made you so angry."
Jungkook scowled again and tried to turn around but Taehyung didn't let him. "Koo, please."
"Park fucking Bogum happened!"
Taehyung unintentionally flinched at that loud voice. He never expected Jungkook to snap at him.
"What?"
"Yeah."
"What did that bastard say?" Taehyung asked in a tight voice but again, Jungkook pressed his lips tight and refused to answer. "Answer me, Koo."
"He was talking about the lack of mate mark on my neck!"
Taehyung closed his eyes for a second to calm his anger. V was roaring in side their shared mind, as he was even more angered by that. It was V's actions that the other Omega was questioning.
"I'm gonna have a talk with him-"
"What's the point?! He's kind of right, isn't he?"
"Koo-"
"I want to be bonded with you. I want to be marked by you, to belong to you. But I know you will never do that. Hell, you might even run away the at the very next obstical that comes our way."
Jungkook was so far gone in anger, humiliation and heartache, that he wasn't even fully aware of what he was saying. JK's disappointment and pain was seeping in to Jungkook's words, making him say things that he doesn't really mean.
"Baby, I told you I won't run-"
"Well, you said that many time in the past too. But look how it tuned out!" Jungkook's scoffed at Taehyung's disbelieving face. "And I can't even blame you for that! My life will always be more important to you than my happiness."
Taehyung couldn't deny that. He shouldn't. But the way the anger was leaving Jungkook's face and pain replacing it... Taehyung just couldn't keep on looking at that.
He gently grabbed Jungkook's hand and pulled him to sit on the bed. And then he kneeled in front of the younger.
"Koo, I told you before. Marking you will give me power over you. It'll be easier to make you bend to my will, command you, or even control you, if you carry my mark. And you're absolutely right. I can't do that. I won't. I refuse to have that power over you."
Jungkook felt a tear slipping pass his eye and quickly raised a hand to wipe it. He tried to get up but Taehyung stopped him. Their eyes met and Taehyung was heartbroken to see the utter devastated look in the younger's eyes. All the fire from earlier was long drained from them.
"Hyungie, please-"
"But-" Taehyung placed a finger on Jungkook's lips and silenced the younger. "-I have a better idea."
Jungkook watched with confused eyes as Taehyung removed two buttons of his shirt and pulled it to the side a bit to expose his collar.
"Mark me. Have your power over me. Claim me as yours."
