《Till Death Do Us Part - A Taekook Love Story.》41 - Taking Things Slow.

Jungkook woke up next morning when the soft morning sunlight started to warm up his body. He half opened his eyes few times before rolling to the other side of the bed. It took only a second for him to realise that it was empty, when it shouldn't be.
Jungkook snapped his eyes open and raised his upper body to a sitting position. This side of the bed felt colder, indicating that the person who was sleeping there, left sometime ago.
"He left?"
A consciousness within his mind answered in a confident voice. ""
Jungkook wanted to believe that but still couldn't stop the panic that was building in his heart. "How can you be sure? Wouldn't be the first time."
""
"He promised it many times in the past too."
JK fell silent at that, as he was not much aware of the things that happened before he came in to the picture. Jungkook felt his hands tremble a bit so he grabbed the bedsheets tightly, until his knuckles turned white.
"What should we-" Jungkook was not able to finish his question as the room door opened just then and Taehyung walked in.
He had two big paper bags in his hand, two cups of coffee and a loving smile on his face, which actually got faltered when he noticed Jungkook's expression.
"Baby-" Taehyung dropped the stuff he had in his hands on to the table and rushed to sit on the bed. "What's wrong?"
Jungkook felt stupid for panicking as it was now obvious that Taehyung had only gone out to get them breakfast. He also felt bad for not being able to trust the elder fully.
But even more importantly, he felt little annoyed that he let that doubt effect him this much and make him close to tears. He needed be stronger than that.

"Nothing." Jungkook managed to say with a steady voice, regardless of the mix of emotions in his mind. "What's for breakfast?"
Taehyung was still for few seconds and Jungkook steadily looked at him too. Then the elder gave a soft smile.
"Come see." Taehyung got up from the bed and emptied the contents neatly on to a plate. "I thought you might want to sleep in a bit, and have breakfast before we leave."
Jungkook gave a nod before getting up from the bed and walking towards the washroom. He was out quickly and they had their breakfast quietly.
""
"My alpha?! Since when did V became yours?"
""
"Team? What are we then?"
JK's giddiness spread through their shared mind like wildfire, making Jungkook feel happy too.
""
"Omg! The betrayal!!"
Jungkook pulled his attention out of their inner conversation to see Taehyung looking at him with concern. Maybe he had been smiling to himself a bit.
"Uhhh.... where's your friend?" Jungkook asked as he drank a bit of his coffee. "Won't he join for breakfast?"
"He's still asleep." Taehyung pointed to the 2nd bag that was still not opened. "I dropped him a text asking to come here when he get up."
Jungkook hummed as a response. To be honest, he has mixed feelings about Jimin. He knew Jimin was Taehyung's new best friend and that two of them are quiet close. He also knew that Jimin didn't like him, and frankly, he didn't like the elder that much either.
Him and Jimin didn't had the best conversations or encounters so far, but for Taehyung's sake, Jungkook was willing to give it another chance. He just hopes the elder will have a same mindset too. Otherwise it'll make things way too awkward and uncomfortable.

Jimin came about one hour later, greeted both Jungkook and Taehyung rather awkwardly and left with the food bag.
The ride back home was rather silent too. Jimin and Taehyung took turns to drive as it was quiet far and it was indeed a relief to be back home. After a short discussion with Jin, Jungkook decided to stay with Taehyung.
He even asked from Jimin whether it was okay, since he was worried that the other might be little uncomfortable with Jungkook living with them. Jimin, however, said that it was totally okay. It was Taehyung's place too, since he pay the half rent.
Taehyung and Jungkook slept in the same bed again and it was little less awkward than the previous night. Despite both of them being aware of each other's feelings, neither dared to voice it out loud.
They couldn't go back to the way things were before because it's a different circumstances now. And they couldn't just jump right in to being lovers due to the past they shared, both good and bad.
So in the end, in an unsaid agreement, they both decided to take things slow. There has been lot of heartaches and tears and they both needed time to heal, specially Jungkook.
"Let's go pick up your clothes from Namjoon hyung's place tomorrow." Taehyung whispered in to Jungkook's hair, as they both laid on the bed.
"Okay." Jungkook answered in a whispering voice too. "Not that there is much. I only had few."
"Oh." Taehyung regarded that information for few seconds. "Then let's go shopping too."
Jungkook turned around so that he was facing the elder. "I'll be staying here for long?"
Taehyung didn't answer. He didn't knew what to say. Yes, he will not let Jungkook get separated from him again but he was not ready to go back home either.
And Jungkook understood that. He doesn't want to pressure Taehyung in to anything as things just don't work like that. He raised his hand and tentatively put it over the elder's cheek.
"I guess I can do some sightseeing in Seoul. I didn't get a chance to do that earlier."
Taehyung's face lightened up a bit at that. "Really? I'll take you to all the best places tomorrow."
Jungkook gave a soft smile to the other. "Yeah, I would like that."
Jungkook tried to turn around again but Taehyung's hands stopped him. Taehyung looked at Jungkook with a hesitant gaze and the younger seemed to understood the meaning behind it.
Jungkook scooted a little closer and wrapped his arms around Taehyung, with his head being gently laid near Taehyung's heart. The elder's heartbeat has been the favourite sound of Jungkook's throughout his entire life. He felt a little emotional for being able to hear it again.
"H-hyungie."
"Hmm.."
"Is tomorrow... a date?"
"Only if you want it to be." Taehyung gently ran his fingers through Jungkook's hair. "It'll be whatever you want"
"What about you?"
Taehyung's answer came with few seconds of delay. "Yes, I would like it to be a date."
Jungkook was really happy for the low night light as well as his face being buried in Taehyung's chest. He would have been utterly mortified if Taehyung knew how red his face looked right now, as he whispered an answer..
"I would like that too."

The Monster Inside: The First Vampire
Despite appearances, there was once a time where monsters did not exist. Where peace and prosperity reigned over all life. But those sinful and demonic forces that had hidden themselves in the shadows just couldn't help themselves could they? They wanted a piece of that prosperity too. They wanted to taint it, corrupt it, revel in its dark side. This is the story of a boy who was tainted. Of a boy who unintentionally bore a seed of sin and who in his naivety let it out. This is the story of how that boy was shamed and disgraced. Of how he was outcast for simply being. This is the story of how that boy learned to embrace the darkness that made him different. A darkness that would later make him known as the Lord of Night. Note to Reader: I understand this book is not for everyone, if there is a writer that can write to please everyone, I have never heard of them. The MC can be frustrating in his decisions as he learns to grow and accept what and who he is. I believe this reality is unavoidable. That being said, if you feel the need to give a review, please do so, just know that I will report you if all that review seems to do is blab toxic language and insult my literary choices without giving constructive advice or alternatives. That's not just a me policy, that's a policy of this website. I'm not writing this note because I'm a writer who does not acknowledge that there are faults in my work. I know there are. That's what happens when it hasn't been professionally edited by someone other than the author. I'm saying this because I'm sick of reading 1 star or 0.5 star rated reviews that seem to do nothing but hate on the book because they don't like the story. No comments on grammar, ways to improve or suggestions for better story arcs. Just plain hate. It's not on, and I frankly shouldn't have to write this note, but needed to get it off my chest. In saying all that, thank you to those who do leave reviews that don't fall into the above category. Your appreciation of my work, or alternatively, your willingness to give advice for improvement, is appreciated.

All Stats Random
Un-reality, the greatest game in the century just launched and Chris starts to play it. He wants to change his circumstances, which are through no fault of his own. But fate doesn't let it be that simple. He gets a hidden unique class, but that class has a special ability, one that randomizes all his stats whenever it wants? What? The world truly can't be fair to him. Not even in a game. Now he has to figure out a way to make this odd quirk of his class work. When he smiles, the world loves him. When he laughs, the world fears him. (and that was my stab at trying to imitate those chinese synopses) Regular chapters, once or twice per week. On the weekends usually. I will finish this novel, be it takes 1 year or 2. It will get a proper ending. Afterall, the ending is paramount. Also, the readers might feel rewarded if they look closely while reading. I try to be quite mindful and put in interesting details or things that would come into play later. And, personally i think that reviews on this site might as well be pointless. Unless you know the reviewer and think that you share his views. Your thoughts on a particular thing (like a novel) can differ from others. So, do give it a try before arbitrarily deciding. This is my try to perfect the 'master of all/everything' type of MC, inside a proper, realistic VR world, from a game design perspective and immersion and no convenient 'convert gold to irl currency' button. It is going to be a game first of all. Not a fantasy world overloaden with status screens and skills you can't possibly keep track of. A game with all of the real world aspects to it. Not a cheap fantasy world with shoehorned in stats.

Unique Fusion Magic Hex
World Essence. The mysterious energy coursing throughout the entire land of Vor'ten, and very possibly the entire world. This energy has allowed humanity to flourish, building great empires and vast kingdoms, conquering nature itself with just a sweep of their hand. Humans were the strongest existence, and with the help of channeling this World Essence, many were able to turn into Magic Knights, gaining magical abilities to combat the various fierce beasts throughout the lands.Alas... those glory days of old were long gone. Humanity has now been pushed to the brink of destruction, and now the remaining members of the human race are encased within giant domes known as 'Alkkras', made with the last remaining bits of the World Essence. It was said that those giant domes were the last gifts left by the remnants of the ancient human race, as a means to protect the future generation from the attacks of the many wild beasts roaming outside. Five Spiritualist Invokers, all combined together, used the last bit of the World Essence and sacrificed their lives to lay a gigantic, 1028-seal formation magic array to form these barriers, forever saving humanity, but also trapping humanity within these barriers. However, the humans were never completely helpless. No matter how little World Essence was left, the humans still had some remaining. Realizing the incoming crisis, the humans found a way to seal World Essence inside a special type of crystal. Soon, these crystals began to become implanted into weapons, turning them into World Essence Weapons, and they began to display properties of their own. Extreme heat. Bone chilling cold. Absurd sharpness. These normal weapons, after being imbued with the energy of the World Essence Crystals, began to form natural affinities to elements. Fire. Water. Earth. Wind. Darkness. Light. Using these weapons, one could become a Chevalier that wielded the power of the elements. However, if one wanted to reach a higher level of enlightenment and understanding, one could become an Invoker. Via the study of magic array formations, one could directly use the power of the World Essence to cast devastating magics upon the enemy. These people were Invokers, highly valued for their combat potential by the Army. These weapons and magical arrays were used in the great fight between the humans and the beasts long ago. They had long since been put away in storage, almost long forgotten...However, after ten-thousand years of suppression, the human race is beginning its counterattack against the Beasts... Synth was an Invoker in the Magecroft Academy. However, his talent was terrible, being only at the Spark Stage. This led to him being looked down upon and bullied. He was unable to cast any Calamity-rank or even Destruction rank spells, and was only able to cast Coalescing rank spells at the age of 17, a record low in the academy for cultivating these rare Invokers. Even though he put in more effort than anyone else, he was still unable to advance his Channeling Energy. But due to his constant research and study, Synth ended up creating a power that would go against the heavens - he had found how to Fuse spells together. After trying it out once, merging the magical array for the Small Fireball and the Mortal Judgement skills, he was able to create a mid-rank Destruction tier spell, Holy Judgement Flame. However, after this, no matter how hard he tried, he was unable to fuse more spells together or even cast them, and noticed a weird, pentagram shaped formation on his left arm. He would later call this mark the Fusion Magic Hex, a curse that prevented the wielder from casting magic that wasn't their own...This meant that with the exception of Synth's newly created skill, , he was going to have to create unique magic arrays if he ever wanted to step on the path of becoming an Invoker! This power that destroyed the laws of the Invoking System, and his unyielding persistence in testing and creating new spells, would later gain Synth the nickname the Unique Fusion Hex, and lead him to become one of the strongest beings in the entire World!
