Jimin was quickly walking through the crowd to find Jisoo. He could have just told that over the phone but the girl was not picking up and Jimin felt it was rather rude to leave without informing.

He was in such a hurry to get past all the half sane and intoxicated people and looking around to spot Jisoo, that he unintentionally stumbled in to another person.

"Oh- I'm so sorry, I was not looking at where I was going-" Jimin said with an apologetic smile but the stranger scoffed at that.

"You're awfully polite for an asshole."

Jimin blinked few times as he was not sure whether he heard the other man properly. "Excuse me?!"

Jungkook chuckled darkly as he looked at the confused face of the other. "He always liked polite and well behaved guys."

"I'm sorry, I think you've mistaken me for someone else. I’m in a bit of a hurry, so excuse me-"

"Oh no. I know you. Or rather, I know of you. You're the one who stole the man I loved."

Jungkook didn't knew what he was saying even. The anger and heartache he felt, and add the splitting headache he was currently having, just made Jungkook be in a very bad headspace. Not to mention the annoyance he felt at how good looking the man is. He looked very poised and capable for an Omega.

Jimin was even more confused now. Is this man an ex of one of his hook-ups? Jimin really didn't do relationships or even fuck buddies thing. It's mostly one night stands for him. He didn't knew which one it was but the answer would have been same. He's not together with anyone.

"Look buddy, I'm sorry I didn't knew he had a boyfriend. While you're better off from a two faced shit like that, we don't have anything going on between us now."

"What?"

"We have nothing between us cause I only do one night stands. He's a fucking asshole for cheating on you though-"

"What the fuck did you just call him?!"

With great difficulty, Jimin managed not to roll his eyes at the other. Of course it had to be a love sick fool, who even after being cheated on and betrayed, still loved the guy.

A part of Jimin felt sympathetic with the other, who looked barely over his teenage years.

"I know this must be hard for you but honestly, you can do so much better than a cheating bastard-"

Jimin was not able to finish what he was saying as a right hook crashed in to his cheek. He stumbled back few steps due to the force of that and held his aching jaw. "Aww...What the fuck did you do that for?!!"

Jungkook was shaking with anger. "How dare you call him that?!"

"Come on, man!! I'm on your side here. He clearly doesn't deserve you if he's whoring around-"

Another punch landed on Jimin but this time it was for his stomach. And it knocked the wind out of his lungs. "STOP HITTING ME WHEN I TRY TO SPEAK!"

Jungkook swung his arm again but this time, Jimin was ready. He grabbed Jungkook's arm, twisted it behind his back, and pushed the boy forward. "STOP THIS, RIGHT NOW!!"

But Jungkook wasn't even listening. He needed a route to steam his anger off and Jimin seemed like the perfect target. Jungkook charged in again, and Jimin responded with a punch of his own.

Taehyung held his head with both hands and tried to dull down the distress call of Jungkook's wolf. He had to take over the battle since V was already feeling drained and Taehyung can't even blame him.

Protecting a mate is something that has been hardwired in to a Alpha's core from the beginning of time. It showed the immense strength and inner power V had, for him to hold out like this for so long.

The only solution was to put some distance between Jungkook and him. Taehyung was craning his neck to see where Jimin was and that's when he heard the commotion. Normally he would not care about such things but something urged his feet to go there.

He quickly walked there and squeezed through the ring of onlookers there to see Jungkook and Jimin fight fiercely.

"What the hell is going on here?!" Taehyung's powerful voice was enough to cut through the commotion as he walked toward the duo and pulled them apart. "Koo? Jimin? Why the hell are you two fighting?!"

Jimin widened his eyes, surprised to see Taehyung knowing the other man. He immediately stopped struggling against Taehyung's hold and the latter released him. Taehyung watched as Jimin looked up at the ceiling, trying to stop the small blood flow from his broken nose.

Jungkook, however, still had his mind totally clouded with rage. He wasn't even hearing what Taehyung was saying. Jungkook tried to charge at Jimin again but Taehyung held the collar of his shirt tighter.

"Let go of me!" Jungkook sneered through gritted teeth, but Taehyung didn't loose his hold.

"Koo, please. Calm down. Did you come with your friends?"

"What is it to you?! It’s not like you care about me."

Jungkook had stopped struggling so Taehyung released him immediately and took a step back. "Koo, please..."

Jungkook's melodious laugh rang through the room but Taehyung knew the other well enough to recognise that it wasn't a genuine one.

"So this is the guy you left me for?!" Jungkook laughed again. "He's a real piece of shit!"

Now it was time for Taehyung to be shocked. He glanced at Jimin quickly, before looking back at Jungkook. Taehyung didn't know why Jungkook thought Jimin was the one but now was not the time to explain it. Not like he had an explanation anyway.

"I can't freaking believe this! Did you honestly threw me away for a bastard like this?"

"Koo, that's enough." Taehyung's voice was laced with little bit of power this time. "Don't speak about things you don't know."

"Ohh.." Jungkook's voice turned in to a mocking one. "Still trying to defend him. Must be hard seeing your own mate whoring around-"

Taehyung didn't even realise when V surfaced and he was distracted to not prevent it on time. The raw insult on his mate, however misdirected, made V finally snap. Taehyung's eyes glowed in a dark red colour and his stance changed in to a more powerful one.

Jungkook stood frozen for a few seconds before he let out a loud scream. He fell on to his knees, face arched upwards, as he continued to scream as if he was in pain.

Both Taehyung and V was terrified but before they could do anything, the scream died down to a heavy panting. Jungkook straightened his head, with his eyes closed and then he opened them to look at Taehyung.

The younger's eyes were glowing in a bright blue colour, as he stared at Taehyung. Jungkook’s wolf had finally awakened, with the unintentional call of his alpha.

It wouldn't have been a problem, except for the fact that today is September 10th. Jungkook had already turned 20 years old, 10 days ago.

Taehyung held his breath, as Jungkook stared at him with bright blue eyes. "Mate!!"
