"How's my favourite cousin?!"

Namjoon rolled his eyes as he stepped to the side and let Jimin and Taehyung enter. "I'm your only cousin."

Jimin turned around and gave a flirtatious wink to Namjoon. "You're still my favourite, hyung."

Namjoon shook his head in a playful way while Taehyung gave a soft smile. Jimin and Namjoon might tease each other in every chance they get but they are actually closer than real brothers.

"Hey Jin hyung!"

Taehyung's thoughts were interrupted by the sudden calling of his friend and he turned to look at the direction of the kitchen. Namjoon's husband Kim Seokjin, was standing there with a timid smile. He gave a brotherly hug to Jimin first, before turning his attention to Taehyung.

"Hello, Jin hyung." Taehyung said with a polite smile but kept his distance.

"Hello, Tae."

Jin may have looked all calm, but Taehyung could see the subtle signs of nervousness. Jin's hands were interlocked and eyes flickered to Namjoon every few minutes too.

He knows Jin cares for him, but he just can't help but get a little nervous around the alpha, as it is natural for Jin to be in his presence. Jin is an unmated Omega, since his partner Namjoon is a human.

That's why Taehyung doesn't like going to their place much. It shouldn't be an issue in a normal circumstances but their first meeting had been anything but normal.

Not when V unintentionally made Jin's Omega forcefully submit to him on the very first day they met.

What happened on the day they all met.....

V was utterly exhausted and was on the brink of collapsing. It had been 11 days since he left his own pack. He had to survive in the shadows, with little to no food on most days. Due to the emotional turmoil in his broken heart, taking a spare set of cloths hadn't even occurred to him. So they had to stay in their wolf form, until there's an opportunity to steal some clothes.

The path they took was mostly through the forests but there were some parts which was out in the open. V had to wait till the dead of the night to cross those areas as the sight of a huge black wolf will surely be bad for the humans.

Taehyung had been dropping in and out of consciousness as things were hard for the human. Not to mention the fact that they hadn't shifted back in 11 days. The most they had gone wolf before, is few hours.

In earlier times, werewolves could live as either ways. There were said to be some who lived their lives in the forests in the wolf forms. But it was not the case now, even for someone as gifted with the shift as Taehyung.

"" V's voice was feeble even in their shared mind. ""

But there was no response from the human. V couldn't walk anymore and he lowered himself to the ground. He was supposed to be the protector and the last thought he had before he closed his eyes, was how pathetically he failed his human.

Jimin didn't knew what he was doing in the edge of the forest. I mean, he knew he came here because his superior ordered him to as they received an Intel about the area, but what the hell was he doing here??

He was walking along the forest edge, cause no way he would go in there. The Intel probably is false or it might even be a hazing attempt by his boss. He would not waste his time on a stupid thing like that.

Suddenly, Jimin noticed a huge black lump on the ground and he cautiously walked towards it. Once near, Jimin could not help but gasp at the sight. It was a wolf, and by the size of it, Jimin was sure that it was the supernatural kind.

The wolf looked barely breathing and for a second, Jimin thought it to be dead. But then he would see the faint rise and fall of the beast's chest, indication that it indeed was alive.

Jimin looked around and saw a long stick and after debating with himself, he gently poked the beast with it. He did for few times but the beast showed no reaction at all.

Normally, Jimin would think twice about involving in a life threatening thing like this but something about this particular beast made him act on impulse. He didn't want the beast to die, knowing very well that there's also a human life at stake here too. So he picked up his phone and dialled Namjoon's number.

"Hello-"

"Hyung! There's a dying wolf here." Jimin said in an urgent, but hushed tone.

Namjoon's reply however, came few seconds late. "Jimin, I may be a Vet but I can't treat every stray animal you see."

"No hyung. It's not the animal kind. The big ones. Werewolf."

Again, Jimin waited few second for a response from other side and when he didn't hear anything, he spoke up again. "It's breathing but not moving at all, hyung. I first thought it was sleeping so I tried to wake it up-"

"You tried to wake up a sleeping werewolf?" Namjoon's response was immediate this time. "Not the smartest thing to do, Jimin."

"I know, I know! But there's a human in there too. I can't just let it die!"

There was a sound of muffled voices from the other end before Namjoon spoke up. "What color is it?"

"Uhh... Black. Like really, really dark black."

"Be careful, Jimin, that's an alpha."

"Can you please come soon hyung? I don't think I can lift him by myself. Pretty sure that it would not fit in my back seat too."

"Okay, just stay a little further from it till I come okay."

Jimin had to wait for about 45 minutes till Namjoon came to the place. Together, they carried the werewolf in to Namjoon's pickup truck. They decided to take the werewolf to Namjoon's home, instead of his office, because it is a human after all.

Once at home, Namjoon examined the werewolf and luckily, didn't find any wounds. The wolf simply seemed too weak although Namjoon could not imagine how that is possible. He connected a drip to the werewolf's arm, to hydrate and strengthen its body.

After about two hours, the black wolf stared to move a bit and Namjoon immediately called out to the other two.

"Get back! Give it some space!"

Both Jimin and Jin stepped back and watched as the wolf opened his eyes, which was burning with a fairy red colour. A menacing growl emitted from the wolf in the next second as it sneered, baring his teeth in a clear threatening manner.

"Easy there.." Namjoon called out in a soft voice as he slowly raised his hand a bit. "We mean no harm."

But the wolf didn't look like it's in a condition to listen. It stood up on unsteady legs and the growl got louder with each passing second.

Suddenly, Jin let out a pained whimper and clutched his chest tightly. Namjoon quickly ran to his husband and held him by his arms. Jin was breathing hard, as well as shaking a bit.

"Jinnie.." Namjoon called in a confused voice and Jin looked up at him with teary eyes.

"Joonie.."

Namjoon was surprised to see Jin's eyes flashing a brilliant blue, something he had not seen in years. He looked back at the black wolf, who was still growling with bared teeth.

"What's going on, hyung?" Jimin sounded really worried but neither Jin nor Namjoon was in a position to answer. "

"Jinnie!!" Namjoon yelled as Jin suddenly gave a loud cry and fell to his knees.

He tired to make Jin get up but the latter weakly pushed his hand away.

"I-it's o-okay Joonie.. he's not in his r-right mind. He's w-worried for his h-human" Jin gasped through the pain. "L-let me h-handle it."

Another loud growl was heard from the black wolf and Jin lowered his body even more, until he touched the floor with his forehead. Namjoon got up and took a step back, dragging Jimin by his hand too.

The wolf and the human stayed like that for few minutes. It was not noticeable to the humans but the Omega was releasing his calming hormones. Jin was trying his damn hardest to calm the Alpha, whom he knew was just scared.

After few minutes, the black wolf stopped growling and lowered his head. Jin slowly got up from the floor and took few cautious steps towards it.

"It's okay, you are safe here." Jin said with a soft smile as he placed his hand tentatively on the wolf's paw. "Shift back. We will take care of your human."

At first, the wolf looked as if he is going to refuse but then he lowered himself on to the floor.

"Joonie! Bring a blanket!" Jin said in an urgent voice but Namjoon had already gone to get one.

They covered the wolf and waited till it changed back in to a human form.

It took several more hours for the human to open his eyes. He weakly looked around at the room he was in and Jimin, who had just walked in, gave him a soft smile.

"Hey, there!"

"H-hey."

"How are you feelings now?"

"L-like shit. Where am I?"

"Seoul. Don't worry, you're in a friendly place. I'm Jimin, by the way.

"Taehyung."

That was the start of Taehyung's and Jimin's friendship and the latter had been there for Taehyung since then. After knowing what V did, Taehyung was never able to look properly at Jin, no matter how many times Namjoon assured him it was okay.

Jin himself told Taehyung that he understood what happened and that it was really okay. But Taehyung can always notice the nervousness of the elder whenever he was around. The human maybe fine but the Omega was really scared. Getting forcefully submitted is one of the most horrible things that could happen to an Omega.

Taehyung stayed in Namjoon's house for two days, until he got fully recovered and then moved to Jimin's house. At first, it was supposed to be till he settled down a bit but then, Jimin asked him to stay permanently.

Little by little, Taehyung adjusted to his new life in Seoul. In daytime, he helped Namjoon with his work and occasionally, assisted Jimin in his line of dangerous work. He has immense gratitude for these three people, and would do anything to repay his debt. He would have surely be dead that day without them.
