Leaves of Terranthir is a gamelit blend of ARPG, action, fantasy, and slice of life. It's inspired in part by some of my favourite games, borrowing in themes, sense of exploration, and aesthetics from the Soulsborne and soulslike genre, mixed heavily with arpg itemization from Diablo/PoE style games. While many may remember their Soulslike experiences as nothing more than suffering, I personally loved the sense of progression, to prevail over challenges and monsters that seemed impossible to defeat at first. Arcane Engines: Alchemist’s Scheme
A seemingly chance encounter with an ancient machine and an assassination attempt threaten to disrupt Veil’s education at the premier mage academy of Ithalaan. The bombings and terrorist actions that follow throw the entire region into chaos and draw him inexorably deeper into a mystery involving cults, gods, and ancient mysterious races. These events threaten Veil’s carefully crafted plans, but there are few limits on his ambition. He is willing to do whatever it takes to advance his schemes to become a Magus, including pursuing the illegal discipline of soul magic. While Veil isn’t a powerful mage yet, his spell wrought guns and illicit abilities will help even the playing field. The need to face down his enemies and fulfill his ambitions will send him desperately searching from Forerunner ruins in the Great Northern Forest to ancient abyssal cities within the depths of the planet. _________________________________________________________________ The book is primarily fantasy with a steampunk background. Science fiction elements won't be introduced for quite some time. I currently update my work at a rate of one chapter per week. I'm also in the process of editing chapters 1 - 7, changing the format to make it more readable, and introducing more show and less tell. The reworked chapters will have (edited) after the title. All chapters after 8 have already been written in the new style. I have a Patreon page if you wish to donate. Also, there will be intense situations, some explicit violence, and although it is not an erotic work, one or two sex scenes.

In a semi-utopian universe with people living in upmost comfort there are only few that go out of their way to murder and steal. Most of them are not threatening everyday life, but there are a few that are powerfull enough to cast fear in people's minds. Most powerful of them being Adalie. Our main character-Arnold unfortunately encounters her. She decides to spare his existence but transports him into a world full of war, a crippled world, our world. The year is 1939 and WW II has just started. He was reincarnated as a soldier with special abilities. He can still use magic, but his existence in our world comes at a cost. Every time he dies he is reborn as a soldier in a random nation. Those who were once his comrades may now very well be his enemies... Image was taken from Google images. Also due to the nature of this fiction, the historical genre will shift more into alternative history.

The rest of the class agree to this, but Shinji isn't convinced as he sense the conspiracies from the kingdom's words. Decided not to get involved with their affairs, Shinji went out and journeyed in a different world where his actions unknowingly change the course of events happening around him. Warning: Contains some extreme violence, a bit of slice of life, Graphic sexual content (18+).
