《Dark Poetry》(XXVII) Your Walls Are So High

Your walls are so high,

And your words are a lie.

Your face is a mask,

To hide your past.

But flames can not cut through,

The bricks that you hold true,

To build your 10 mile wall,

And from the other side I call.

Your charming looks,

Are what I draw in my books,

But when I draw your eyes, there's always something amiss.

I'm being held captive in an endless abyss.

But you're walking away,

In a mysterious way,

That I long to seek,

I'm nearly at the peak.

No else notices,

That you're attracted to the lotuses,

And you hate the colour yellow,

And the shop's caramello.

But your walls are so high,

And your words are a lie.

But your face is a mask,

To hide your past.
