So like I said in my last entry, I finally got up the guts to call Nathan a few days ago. He told me how sick he was. I said, "Well, maybe you should go to sleep." He said, "Yeah, okay. Want me to call you back?" I said, "Yeah, when you wake up." Surprisingly, he did call back.
We talked for about 45 minutes and it was mostly just me talking and him going, "Mmmhmm." [And this has never happened since. With any boyfriend. Ever.] I told him that it was bugging me so he started to talk.
I told him about Jenna hooking up with Erin's older brother and Nathan said, "Want to hook up tomorrow?" I said, "No, but I want to see you. Call me tomorrow and come over." [Try again later when you're not so sick. Gross.]
He said, "Fine." But he didn't call. And I still haven't talked to him. And I'm super-bummed.
Today I went to the science museum with Melanie and my mom. It was kind of fun. Melanie has become like, my tightest friend. The only people I feel comfortable calling are her, Alicia, and... that's it. Jenna maybe, sometimes, but... I don't know. She's just way too obsessed with Steph. Surprisingly, I haven't bumped into Steph all summer. [Dun, dun, dun...]
