I didn’t go to school today, so Steph came over with my homework in the afternoon. She told me, “Zach didn’t dump you at all! I asked him about it at lunch today and he said, ‘No, who told you that?’ And I was like, ‘Matt told me.’ And he was like, ‘Matt’s messed up.’”

I don’t know what to do about that. Jenna called me afterward, and we talked for a while. She said, “Zach told me he didn’t dump you… but then he was like, ‘I didn’t dump Emily yet, but I’m going to, but don’t tell anyone. Except for her, if you want to.’”

Oh, for heaven’s sake. I guess I’ll have to dump him as soon as I see him tomorrow. Or I could dress really hot to go to school and hope he decides not to dump me when he sees me. Either way, I’ll act confident, so he knows he’s not needed as much as he used to be.
