A few days ago was really fun, i got to know him again as a friend. And he was being kind to me I really appreciate him especially his family, but i had to think about who was going to stay to take care and keep an eyes for my mom?

Most of the week I spent it in my house while my mom was still taking a day off from work, I was glad that her friends were always there to cheer her up. So she didn't have to feel lonely anymore, I was scared if she was going to do any suicide.

I was scrolling on the news on my phone then a notification from Alec suddenly popped,

Alec Valerie :

Hey heard that you're not going to get back to England is it true?

Avalana Valerie :

Sadly it is true, I'm sorry i think i have to stay and taking care of my mom.

Alec Valerie :

Don't be sorry, it is a good thing to take care of your mom.

Alec Valerie :

How's your life going?

I smiled over his text cause he never asked me about how was my life, maybe he was feeling lonely to not having me in his space. Cause i used to annoyed him everyday, if ariana were there it would annoyed him more.

Avalana Valerie :

It's kinda weird and I'm feeling exhausted lately

Avalana Valerie :

Why are you asking? You miss me right?😏

Alec Valerie :

Actually yeah, what happened?

Avalana Valerie :

I got a sleeping problem but I'm getting better now.

Avalana Valerie :

And you must be surprised that I'm being friends with Apollo again.

Alec Valerie :

Not surprised, I predicted this thing is going to happen.

Avalana Valerie:

Whaat, i mean I'm still with Ayden we're just friends.

Alec Valerie :

Whoops cousin I didn't say something related to a relationship talk though.

Shit he really didn't, why did i tell him that it seemed like i was expecting for a further relation between Apollo and i.

Avalana Valerie :

Okay.., how's grandma?

Alec Valerie :

She's fine, she knows that you're going to stay in LA for a long time but she doesn't know about your mom.

Alec Valerie :

My parents are worried if grandma knows it.

Avalana Valerie :

Yeah it's going to make her worried, Besides mom is okay now.

Alec Valerie :

Yeah and don't forget you have to take care of yourself though.

Alec Valerie :

And! Tell Gabriel and Laura congratulations for them.

Avalana Valerie :

Thank you Alec, i miss you! i know that you probably won't stop teasing me if i get back to England. So it's better for me to stay here for a while.

Avalana Valerie :

I'll tell them!

Alec Valerie :

Ha ha okay byee, take care.

I put my phone away then made my way to the dining room, i saw mom was chilling in the living room while watching a movie series on the Tv.

"Hey mom" i said while i was making my way to the family dining room which was right behind the living room.

I grabbed a pack of cookie before decided to sit next to her, she was wearing a casual clothes and i could tell that she wasn't planning to go anywhere today.

"Lana"

"Yes?" I said.

"How are you?" She asked then it made me kinda confused.

"Fine?" I said.

"Daisy talked to me that her hospital hoping for the further response from you, she said Apollo talked to you about it?" She said and i stayed for a moment.

I missed my job, taking care of people, making people feel a lot better. I thought i should really think about this opportunity they gave me.

"I miss working in hospital" i sigh.

"So what are you waiting for?" Mom said and i thought she was okay with me working again.

"But you know i always can be my family's personal doctor?" I said to her but she just smiled.

"That's lovely, But how about your dream to help the others?" She asked which reminded me of my ambition.

"I'm your mom i know you're worried about me but I'm okay now, what i did a few moments ago was a mistake and I regret it" she said.

What she said was right, and i believed that what she just said to me was true. She looked happier now and as long as I was there with her i thought it was okay to go back to work around the town.

"Okay" i said.

"When can i do my job interview?" I asked her which made her smile.

"I'll call Daisy then i'll tell you when" She got up from the sofa with a smile on her face.

She left me alone in the living room to call daisy while i was sitting here while thinking that it was going to be a new start for me.

I was sitting outside my job interview room, i just had a simple conversation with my mom yesterday and now here i am wearing a formal work outfit. I keep tapping my heels on the floor while waiting for them to be ready for the interview and i know it isn't the first time ever but I'm so nervous.

Daisy isn't going to be here to interviewing me but i know she must have told them I'm one of her friends daughter, I'm worried if i failed and what if they have a high expectation from me?

"Miss Valerie?" A man with a formal clothes walks out of the room and greet me with a smile.

"Yes?" I said while getting up from the seat.

"Are you ready?" He asked me with a warm smile.

"Yes" i smile.

I walk into the room while trying to control myself and telling myself that I'm going to do my best, they're going to love you and you got this.

"Thank you miss Valerie, we'll tell you the result as soon as possible" one of them send me a smile.

"Thank you so much" i smiled then shake their hands one by one.

I walked out of the room while letting out a breath feeling so relieved while still holding on all of my files on my hand. I closed my face with both of my hands then brushed my face while feeling so relieved, i opened my eyes when I suddenly found him leaning on the wall while laughing.

"What the are you doing here?" I asked him while he was still laughing at me.

"You look funny" he said while still half laughing.

"Thanks god i feel so relieved" i said while letting out my hands in the air and i could see him smiling.

"How's the interview?" He asked.

"Pretty good" i said.

"I've never seen you wearing a lab coat before" he teased and i smiled.

He suddenly took all the files from my hand then gave me a cup of coffee from his hand,

"Here take this" he said before giving me the cup of coffee.

"For me?" I asked.

"No juts hold it for a minute" he said and i stand still while holding the cup.

"No, Of course it's for you" he said then laughed,

"Oh you got me, enough for teasing today" i said while we started to walk down the hall.

"What are you doing here by the way? Don't you have a work to do?" I asked him while we were still walking passing so many halls.

"Yeah but when mom told me about your job interview this morning, i just want to be the first person to see your exhausted face when you walk out of the interview room" he said and while i started to drink the coffee that he gave me.

"Oh such a teaser" i said.

"By the way it's lunch time, you must be hungry" he said then i nodded.

"Yes I'm starving" i said.

"There's a restaurant near here you want to come?" He asked.

"Oh yes let's go but" i said then before suddenly stopped walking.

"What?" He asked.

"I'll pay the bill this time" i said to him which made his face turned to face me.

"What are you talking about, the hospital haven't even accepted you" he said.

"So much talking there's nothing related to that" i lied, what he just said is true, the hospital hadn't accepted me but it felt like i just passed the test.

"Okay then" he said while we were walking out of the hospital lobby as the door was automatically opened.

"My car is over there actually" i said when i sae a sport car parked on the VIP parking lot which was right in front the lobby.

"It isn't so far, i'll drive you back after we had lunch" he said.

"Okay" i said before following him into his car, i knew that was one of the newest type of sport car which was very cool.

We got inside then i began to put on the seatbelt while looking at every inch of this car, it was so cool and i love it.

He started the engine then began to drive into the wherever the restaurant was, and he was right the ride only took about 5 minutes from the hospital.

We walked out of the car then when straight into the restaurant, it was an Italian restaurant. We ordered the menu and then we waited for the food.

We started to talk about so many things, it was quite random but he made me laugh all the time with his weirdness. I missed this moment but I really enjoyed spending my time with him, I felt comfortable with him being a friend. It actually brushed away the awkwardness we had, I couldn't believe that we could talk like a normal person like that again. Some people said when Exes being friends that mean they're mature enough to get over their problem. And i thought we slowly solved it by ourselves, he was a really good friend of mine and i was so happy that we could be friends again like that. The way he didn't talk about or past was supporting our friendship more, i love the side of him being a good listener. And his jokes were always stay the same, I didn't know why but it was always got me.

The world may know him as the cool, handsome, and the only son of Philip Hamilton but i knew him as Apollo, as himself. The person who was so funny and humble around the people that close to him, and i loved this side of him, he may be cold sometimes but when you knew him closer you would know him as the most carrying and humble person ever.

Wait, What am i thinking? I was talking like we're so in love. What the hell Lana don't destroy this beautiful friendship of you and your ex boyfriend.
