I was watching a tv series that happened to be one of my favorite in the living room with my food on the table in front of me. Tonight was my day off where there was no work for me, i should gave myself a little free time after my busy hours at the office.

The penthouse was always so empty at night cause there was only me inside of this place, but i loved being alone since i could stay focus on what i was doing. I was sitting on the sofa while watching the movie series when my phone suddenly rang from the table in front of me.

I looked at it from where I was sitting and it was an unknown caller id, i wondered who was calling me in the middle of Friday night like this. I wished it wasn't Ezra using one of his friends phone to ask me to join him to hang out.

At first I didn't want to pick it up cause it was an unknown number but then what if it was something important? So i got up from the seat to pick it up.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hello are you busy?" It was a woman's voice and it sounded pretty familiar.

"I'm sorry who's this?" I asked.

"Lana?" she said and i can feel my heart beat is pounding on my chest, it feels so unreal to have her talking from my phone again.

"Oh, no I'm not" i said awkwardly,

oh come on Apollo you are good to act and confident in front of your workers and employees why do you have to be so nervous in front of her? Especially she isn't really in front of you she's actually on the phone.

"How are you?" I asked her.

"Hey I'm sorry to call you in the middle of the night?" She said.

Her voice sounded angelic and i could just stay in a silent while heard it all over again until i fell asleep.

"No it's okay, you must be have some trouble with sleeping?" I asked her.

"Yeah" she said.

"I just need someone to talk" she said.

"You can tell me everything, i know it is hard for you to trust me but I'm not that guy anymore" i said to her, she stayed in a silent for a moment and it made me kinda worried.

"No, didn't i tell you to forget it?" She said from her voice i heard that she was laughing a little.

"Oh yeah I'm sorry" i said.

"So how's your feeling?" I asked him, i just want to make sure that she wasn't feeling alone.

"I'm fine actually, i feel so exhausted but i can't sleep" she said to me.

"Trying to turn on the music which can make you a bit relax" i said to her.

"That's a really good idea, well you used to do that all the time, do you still do that?" She asked and it made me smile to know that she remembered.

"Yeah actually" i said.

"How are you?" She asked.

"I'm feeling good, just sometimes feeling tired with work" i said to her.

"You should give yourself a space" she said and i nodded while smiling.

"Yes Being alone in my place is a perfect way to give myself a free time" i said to her.

"Don't your parents always coming home?" She asked me.

"I have my own place now" i said to her.

The movie series was showing the most interesting part but Lana was on the call with me. Oh i could always watch it online, i should stayed focus on her.

"Really?" She asked.

"Yeah a penthouse" i said.

"Woah that's cool" she said.

"You should come" i said and i felt so stupid to say that for a second, she has a boyfriend Apollo you should control yourself.

"Yeah" surprisingly she said that.

"Cool" i said.

"When?" She asked me and I couldn't believe she meant it.

"Are you free tomorrow?" I asked her.

"Yeah" she said.

"How about tomorrow night? I'll asked Sarah and Floyd" i said to her, i should invite them other cause i knew i couldn't control myself when it was just me and her besides i wanted to keep this good relation with her as a friend.

"Sounds cool" she said.

We kept talking and talking until she fell asleep then i had to hang up, We spent almost two hours talking on the phone. I felt happy to make her laugh and sounds happy, but also i couldn't believe that we could be like this again even it sounds impossible for me to have her back but at least i could see her happy.

"How many people are going to be here Apollo?" Teresa asked while she was cutting a vegetables on the dining room.

"4 people including me" i said while sitting in front of her watching her cooking, teresa was like my second mom. She cooked, washed my clothes, and she did care.

"You look pretty excited" she smiled and it made me smile.

I grabbed an apple then started to play it like a tennis ball trying to get a distraction to make me looked not too obvious,

"Yeah my old friend are coming" i said.

"You sure nobody's special?" She teased and that time i laughed.

"I don't know" i said then started to spin myself on the island table chair.

I was 24 and soon to be 25 and I still felt like a little kid who still needed a lot of fun, it felt like i wanted to turn back time to when i was a teenager.

I called Sarah and Floyd, at first they said that they already had a plan. So i had to pleaded them to come and told them that Lana would come too. They had warned me cause both of them were the first people that caught me back in those days but then I promised them that it was just a friendly hangover. Then they agreed since they felt like they had to keep an eye at me while she was around, god they Sounded more like Lana's parent.

The elevator door suddenly opened and it made my heart beating fast I thought it was Lana but it was Floyd and Sarah. Glad they arrived here sooner than her cause i was scared it was going to be awkward if Lana came first.

"Feels good to be back" Floyd said as she gave me a hi five then Sarah gave me a quick hug.

"Thank you for coming" I said to them.

"We're here to keep our eyes on both of you actually" sarah said before started to look around the penthouse.

"The view is much cooler in the night" Floyd said while walking to the glass wall that shows a cool view.

"But it is going to be much cooler in Seattle" i said to him.

"No way you're planning to move out?" He asked.

"Actually yes" i said.

"That's sad" Sarah said which made me turning around to look at her who's sitting in front of teresa.

"Why?" I asked her.

"You're going to be more lonely" sarah said and it made teresa's lips cracked in a smile.

"Who said I'm lonely now?" I asked her.

"You don't even have someone to stay with, you're not hanging out with your friends anymore and you like to be alone now" Sarah said before eating one of the corn from the bowl.

"Yeah he's a loner" Teresa jokes which made sarah laughs.

"You don't even have a girlfriend" Sarah said while smiling innocently.

"That's a different thing" i said.

"You're gay?" Sarah asked and i could see Floyd was smiling while trying not to laugh at his girlfriend who was playing innocent.

"I mean I'm still waiting for the right one" i said.

"Yeah he's still waiting for the girl in his work room desk" Teresa said and it made me surprise.

"What? Don't blame me i clean every single thing in this house so it isn't my fault" Teresa started to play innocent which made Floyd finally laugh.

"Which girl?" Sarah looked surprised then asked Teresa.

"Long brown hair, blue eyes pink lips" Teresa said.

"Shut up you still have her picture?" Floyd asked and that time I couldn't lie to them.

"It was a photo booth from prom" i said.

"You still have it?" Sarah said and she looked like she didn't believe that i still keep it, of course i am, cause it is one of the most precious time in my life.

"Yeah" i said.

The elevator suddenly opened and revealed lana wearing a cream coat and her hair was falling straight while her blue eyes were finally looking at mine.

"Heeyy Lana" Sarah said started to greet her while i was standing there freezing while i could see Teresa was laughing at me.

"Oh sarah you again"She said while taking off her coat.

"Aay Lana" Floyd said.

"I'm sorry I couldn't come to see your mom at the hospital, is she alright?" Foyd asked her.

"It's okay, yeah she's fine now" She said.

"Hey how are you?" I asked her awkwardly since both sarah and Floyd suddenly stayed in a silent while they sent me a strange look. I thought it was a bad idea to invite both of them.

"I'm totally fine, thanks for inviting me though by the way where should i put it?" She asked me where should she put her coat then i said that she could hang it at the hanger next to the elevator.

We spent about three hours eating dinner, laughing, talking about our funny memories watching movies and stuff. We also talked about Floyd and Sarah who was engaged but they said they weren't in a rush to get married. So as a friend i had to support them no matter what.

It had been a while since the last time I spent some quality time with Lana. She still looked very pretty and she looked prettier since she wasn't a teenager anymore, she was always laughing and i could tell that she enjoyed being around her friends. Seeing her happy like that made me also happy to know that she was relax and forget about what made her sad.

"I think it's getting late we should go?" Sarah suddenly asked which made Floyd to get up from the sofa. I was waiting for Lana to get up but it turned out to be her still sitting on the sofa, the three of us were actually waiting for her.

"What?" She finally realized that we were looking at her.

"Do you want to go?" Sarah asked.

"No I'm fine here, i'll stay for a while" She said and it made me kinda nervous.

Floyd sent me a look while sarah was looking at her who was sitting on the sofa while kept watching the movies on the TV.

"Okay then, just call me if he do something" Sarah said and it made her laugh.

"I'm not going to do anything" i said to them.

"He's not a predator" she laughed which made sarah smiles,

Both of them excused themselves leaving me and Lana alone in this penthouse as Teresa went home after we had dinner a few hours ago.

"They left" i said coming back to where she was sitting.

"By the way i have a cup of ice cream" i said from behind the sofa.

"Let me guess, it must be dark chocolate flavor" she said and i smile, she still remembered and i felt happy about it.

"Yes, you want some?" I asked her, she turned her head around then nodded.

So i grabbed a cup of ice cram and two spoons, i came back then sat right next to her. She looked excited to see the ice cream, she grabbed it from my hand then started to eat it.

"About your job" I bringing up the topic and she finally turned her head to look at me, while she was still eating the ice cream from the cup.

"My parent would love to welcome you to our hospital" i said and i could see a hope on her face.

"Apollo, I really love to and appreciate your parents suggestions but i need some time to think about it" she said.

"Yeah that's fine I understand" i said.

"But i'll think about it, that's a good opportunity" she smiled while biting on her spoon which could make me crazy if i kept staring at her so i turned my head around to look into another way.

"You can always call me if you change your mind" i said to her.

"Thank you" she said.

God please help me to control myself around her, I cannot stand her beauty.
