"I want you to do me a favor" Gabriel said which made me looking up at him.

"What?" I asked him as i was chilling on the chair in front of his office table that used to be my dad's desk.

"Mom and i are going to have a meeting today and I really need someone to take this really important documents to the Hamilton office" he said which made me straighten my sit on the chair.

I looked at him with a surprise look, what did he just say? Uhm hello? I'm not working for this company you have no right to told me what to do even if i have their name on my last name but I don't understand what ever the fuck is that document works.

"Your expression is always funny every time I mention his name" he smirked while leaning into the chair.

"Hey i know you were with him at the plaza" He said which made my cheeks turn red.

"Ho-"

"Now i know why dad was always away but I'm pretty sure he knows every single things you did" he said it made my brain work so hard to figure it out what does he mean.

"It is the bodyguard isn't it" i asked him.

"Ugh I'm 24 god why do i still need them" I said while getting up from the chair trying to made my way out of this room before gabriel told me to send the documents for the second time, i wished he forgot .

"Besides My boyfriend is going to be here tomorrow" i said while walking into the door.

"Miss Valerie you forgot the documents" Gabriel said which made me stop walking.

I shut my eyes before turning around to found him smirking at me, i made my way back to the table to take the documents.

"Do you remember that he cheated on me" i said while putting the documents inside of my bag.

I think he forgot that he cheated on me,

"Of course"

"And i have a boyfriend" i said.

"Of course"

"So?" I wish he understands.

"I understand what you just trying to say to me but I really need a person that i trust to bring this document to their office sis" he said.

"What ever it seems like you're trying to make things work again" i said before started to walk away from him.

"I found her crying" Gabriel said and the words sounds familiar to me.

I turned around with a question mark on my forehead,

"How? Did you?" I asked him.

"Laura" he rolled his eyes.

"Whatever Gabe, I'm doing this cause I'm a good little sister" i said.

"You're not so little anymore actually" he said.

"Then why i still have the bodyguards to spy on me" i said while making my way out.

"Love you sis" he said before i walked out of the room.

"Love you bro" i said.

I arrived at the Hamilton office, I couldn't remember when was the last time i went here. And Gabriel didn't mention how to get into the main office to give this really important documents.

I tried to call Gabriel but just like what he said his phone was off because he had a meeting, which was very frustrating for me. So i waited and sat on a gray sofa to wait for the receptionist inform me about Mr Hamilton A.K.A Apollo. The way the receptionist talked to me about his busy schedule, He seemed an important and a busy man.

"Avalana?" A man voice suddenly made my head popped up.

"Mr Hamilton" i got up from the sofa to greet him.

"Philip please, you used to call me that" he smiled giving me a quick hug.

"Hi Philip" hugging him back.

"It's been a really really long time" he said with a smile on his face.

"Yeah it is nice to see you again" i smile.

"Yeah me too, what are you doing here?" He asked me.

"Oh this is Gabriel told me to send this important document cause he has an important meeting at the office so he told me to" i said while handing him the documents.

"Oh this document, thank you so much Avalana." He said after receiving the documents.

"Your welcome" i said.

"So how's England, and heard that you're graduated from Med School?" He asked me.

"It was great, thankfully" i smile.

"You know that we always have a spot for you in our hospital right? Just call me if you want to join us, Daisy will be very happy to welcome you" he said to me with a smile on his face.

This man right here is never change, he was always so sweet and humble. He smiles a lot which brought joy to everyone around him.

"Thank you so much" i smile.

"Well that's it thank you so much Philip" i said to him.

"Are you in a rush?" He asked me.

"Uhm not really" i said.

Well my mom grounded me sir so i cannot go back to England to work, so I'm stuck here without any activity and I don't know what's the profit to have me her for the family.

"Would you like to have a tea with me at my office? It's been a really long time" he said with a pure smile on his face which made me can't reject it.

"I'd love to" i smile at him.

"Do you want an ice tea or a hot tea Miss?" A lady with a white uniform asked.

"Anything please" i smile before she left Philip and I.

She left Philip and i inside of the huge office room which was so clean and cool, it also had a big glass wall with a pretty cool view.

"So Avalana it's good to have you here, are you going to stay here or?" He asked me in a friendly way which made me pretty relax.

"I'm actually going to stay for maybe in a month here then I'm going to get back to England after that" i said while nodding my head.

"Here, actually I want to apologize to you personally"

"I heard about what my son had done to you" he said and i could tell that he was ashamed and feeling uncomfortable to talk about it.

"Oh please it's been a few years ago I've forgiven him since I cannot remember" i said to him and he only smiled at me.

"I don't know what was going on inside of his mind, he can be an idiot sometimes"

"Not just a few years ago he can be an idiot in the office too" he said and it made me laugh.

"Daisy and I didn't get a chance to apologized to you before you left to England a few years ago so since you're here i thought it is the perfect time to apologize to you" he said.

God he's a really nice man, how could a person apologize for his son mistakes towards his son's ex girlfriend. I respect this man so much, he was a CEO and wasn't ashamed to asked for an apology from a person like me.

"That's fine, and you don't actually have to apologize though" i said to him.

"No no, i promised your dad that i'll take care of you like my own daughter but i failed" he said while still smiling.

"No you're not" i said.

"How can my son be so selfish like that i cannot understand." He said and the door suddenly opened, I thought it was the lady who was going to bring a drink but it was actually Apollo who was wearing a black suit with a gray watch on his wrist.

And he looked surprised when he saw me sitting inside of his dad's office, i could see it when he froze for a moment when he walked in.

"Son" Philip said as i kept watching him.

"I'm sorry to disturb you" he said and ready to leave the room but his dad stopped him.

Philip got up from the sofa them told him to get in, his eyes looked into me for a second. I saw him walking towards his dad while carrying a file on his hand.

"I'm only going to give this to you sir, the file that you requested from yesterday" he talked to his own dad using a formal words to keep it professional.

"Well excuse me" he said as his dad was reading the file that he gave to him.

"Son, can you stay for a moment" his dad said.

He stayed in a silent for a second before nodding then he began to sit on the sofa in front of me, while his dad was sitting on the single sofa.

We stayed in an awkward silent as his dad reading the file that he gave, the silent was killing me. I hate an awkward situation like this especially i was sitting in front of my ex boyfriend and his dad.

"Have you tell her about our Company annual event this year?" His dad asked him.

"No sir" he said while looking down to the table in front of us.

"Avalana" Philip said which made my head turned around to face him who was looking at me with his glasses on.

"We're going to celebrate our Company anniversary, we have invited the Valerie and i want to invite you personally to come to the event" Philip said.

It would be so hard for me to reject it cause Philip had been so nice to me and my family, the problem was only between me and him while our family still had a really good relationship.

"As long as Gabriel come i will come" i smile.

"Oh Apollo can you tell her when and where" Philip told his only son.

I looked at him who was looking back at me, his dark blue eyes and those sharp jawline still looked the same. And his stares was never change, it would kill anyone with just a glance.

"The event will be held in the Hamilton Hotel Los Angeles Venue on April 2, at 8pm" his eyes were looking at mine.

"I wish you can come to our event Lana" Philip said and i sent him a smile.

"Oh by the way how's Laura i heard that they're expecting a second child?" Philip asked and it made me smile.

"Yes they are" i said with a smile.

"I'm happy for both of them how's Jacob doing?" Philip asked and it really nice of him to asked about my family's doing.

"He's actually worried about having a siblings, and i think it's better for me to stay here for a while even he asked me to stay forever here he doesn't want me to go" i said then it made Philip smiles.

"I always love that kid" he said.

"I wonder what it feels like to have a grandchild" he said to me while Apollo was still sitting in the middle of us.

Philip turned his head to Apollo who was looking down at the table but then he realized that his dad been looking at him.

"What? I'm still 24 and i'll be very busy to take care of a child" he said arrogantly.

"I'm not asking you young man" Philip said.

For whatever reason it was kinda made me not regretting that i broke up with him, kids are a bless for us and I didn't get it why did he say that.

"Okay Lana, i'll have a meeting in a few minutes" Philip said.

"Oh yeah I was about to Excuse myself too, thank you for the tea" i said to Philip as the three of were getting up from the sofa.

"And Apollo would you like to accompany her to the lobby please?" His dad asked.

"Oh it's okay i'll be okay" i said to him politely.

"No it's okay" Apollo said.

"Thank you, i'll see you in the meeting room son" his dad smiles before i walked out of the room, Apollo opened up the door for me to walk out.

The long hall was so empty all i heard wad our footsteps, I couldn't stand this silent.

"You don't have to come if you don't want to come to my family Company annual event" he said before pushing the elevator button.

The elevator door went opened then we got inside, it was only the two of us who got into the elevator.

"I'll come cause i respect your parents" i said as we were standing next to one another inside of this small space.

"Okay then i'll see you the" he said before the elevator door went open.

"We'll see" i said before walking out of the elevator leaving him alone.

Only god and i knew how my heart was about to destroy my chest with its fast beats.
