It was Friday night, Ayden and i were getting cozy in the living room. It was only the two of us in the living room, that was how we really like to spent our Friday night. It was our routine when he didn't have any work or meeting, he was a busy man with a busy schedule but he always knew how to shared his time with me.

"What are we going to watch tonight?" I asked him.

"Horror?" He asked while eating his salad.

I hated horror, i remembered when i watched one of his horror thriller movie, it. Well, i could sleep but it took some time for me to forgot about his creepy smile, and he was actually still making fun of me. It wasn't a horror though, it was more like a thriller movie and super creepy for me, i hated to see that clown mask.

The last horror movie that really scared the heck out of me was the last movie i watched with my so long ex boyfriend, Apollo. He made me watched the movie, but then he stayed at my room the night after we watched that movie that was a really sweet of him.

Talking about Apollo, i hadn't heard about him since we lived a thousands miles away from one another. I heard that he had a car accident a couple months after I left to England, it was so hard for me to not thinking about his condition that day. It was kinda ruined my focus to study, i hold myself to not asking about his condition back then.

Being on Diana's wedding meant that i was probably going to meet so many people from my past. Especially my high school friends and including him, and i felt like I wasn't ready to face him again. Why do i have to feel like this, besides maybe he forgot about me, and maybe he had a girlfriend already.

Ugh why do i have to think about him again, i have to forget and get over it.

"Ayden" i said to him who was eating a salad.

"Yes?" He turned his head around to looked at me who was sitting on the sofa.

"I think I'm going to go back to LA very soon" i said to him.

"That is Cool.., when?" He asked me.

"Next week, and i want you to come with me" i said to him.

He turned his head around while he was drinking a water from the bottle, from his face i could tell that he was trying to remember what was on his schedule.

"I'm sorry but i have a meeting and an interview here in England next week." He said.

Oh god, do i have to face my past alone by myself?

"Oh that's okay" i said.

"When is the wedding?" He asked.

"In two weeks" i said.

"Not next week? Okay I'll be there" he smiled which made me smile, he leaned closer then planted a kiss on my forehead.

"Thank you, then i'll be there on your upcoming movie's premiere" i smile.

He turned his head around and he looked so surprised to heard what i just said,

"What did You say?" He flashed me a smile.

"Well I'm not going to say it twice" i said to him.

"Okay.." he said then i laughed.

"Let's watch stranger things shall we" he reached the remote control then began to search for the movie.

I stayed in a silent while thinking, how was it going to feel like to finally came back home. I missed everything back in home, i missed my house, the rode, and everything there.

But I wasn't ready to come back to my past, the memories i had back in LA was pretty bad, and I didn't want to drag myself back into those bad memories.

Ayden was started to lay next to me, the movie started to play. Watching movies every time he got a free time was our thing, he really liked a mystery and horror genre while I really liked romance and comedy, well i could tell our taste of movie kinda far from one another.

But he was a super understanding guy, he never told me what to do. He always supported me in every decision and he was a good listener, too bad he had a very busy schedule according to his movies and meetings.

I got up from the sofa to grab my phone from upstairs,

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"I'm going to get my phone upstairs" i said.

"We're watching movie, you don't need that" he said.

"I'm going to call my brother" i said.

"Oh okay then" he said.

I walked upstairs to get my phone, i entered the room and saw it was laying on the night stand. I unlocked it then called Gabriel, i was hoping he wasn't on a meeting.

"Hey sis" his voice suddenly greet me.

"Are you busy?"

"Not really, why?"

"Can you keep it as a secret?" I asked him.

"Of course" he said.

"Prepare the jet for next week, I'm going back home" i said as a smiled.

"Great, i miss you the whole family miss you"

"Me too Gabe"

"How's work?" He asked.

"Well the first three months was a hectic" i said.

I wasn't lying, I was lucky that i still had a few days off.

"I was there sis, good luck that's life you chose to be a doctor so just enjoy your job, imagine how many people you'll help and they're going to feel better because of you" he said and it made me smile.

"I miss you bro, tell Laura i said hi and tell Jacob i miss him too"

"I will"

"Just text me the detail Gabe" i said.

"Okay, take care sis" he said.

"Bye"

I ended up the phone call then put it inside of my pocket, i walked back into the living room and found him who was still laying on the same position.

"Lana?" He called while I was still walking down the stairs.

"Yes?"

"I'm hungry lets get some food?" He asked.

"Let me grab my coat" i said before walking back to my room to grab mine and his coat.

I grabbed mine and his coat before walking down the stairs with my sneakers, when i walked back into the living room i found the tv was being turned off and he was ready to go. I handed him his coat then both of us walked outside of the Apartment, I was glad that the building had so many restaurants around it.

We walked out of the building then began to walk down the England street at night, that was also our favorite thing to do every time we got hungry.

His hand never left mine, a smile drawn on our face while the cold breeze was blowing our hair, a laugh slipped from our lip like a teenage couple who was having a lot of fun together.

His green eyes kept staring back at mine with a lip that curled into a smile every time i caught him looking at me, we were walking down the street while feeling like we were being in a movie.

He kept swirling me around like we were dancing on the way to the fast food restaurant while everyone around was watching us.

"I love to dance with you but i got embarrassed when they're looking at us" i whispered which made him smile.

"They're looking at you cause you look beautiful" he said and it made my cheeks felt hot.

"Come on" he said.

We walked inside of the fast food restaurant and wait on the line,

"Didn't you eat a plate of salad back then?" I asked him.

"Fast food isn't good enough for our health" i said.

"So do you want us to just turn around and go back to the apartment?" He asked.

"No I'm here for the ice cream, you know I don't really eat dinner" i said.

"Me either" he said smiling before gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"I also want a fries" i smile.

It was the time for us to ordered but my phone was suddenly ringing, i looked into the phone screen and it was one of the stuff from the hospital.

Ayden ordered our ice cream while I was picking up the phone call,

"Hello?" I asked.

"Good evening doctor I'm sorry to bother you, there's a patient here in the ER she feels cold and has a high fever, she told us she's been like this for a few days. She also told us that she's one of your patient, I'm sorry but we need you to be here now."

Shoot, i always got a call like this.

"Okay be there in 10 minutes" i said.

I put my phone back to my jeans pocket then walked closer to Ayden who was waiting for our food.

"Who was that?" He asked.

"The hospital, they need me to be there now" i said while looking around the restaurant, i saw some of the people were staring at us. Well those kinda things always happened every time we went out together.

"I'm sorry Ayden" i reached his hand but all he did was just staring back at me.

"Just kidding, let me take this beautiful doctor to the hospital" he said then it made me smile.

"Number 46" the waiters said.

"Thank you" he said before grabbing the paper bag.

We walked out of the restaurant and went straight to the apartment building basement to got into his car, he drove me to the hospital while eating his ice cream.

It only took 10 minutes to got there, he stopped the car right in front of the ER. I opened the door then walked straight into the changing room, he only dropped me at the lobby then he was going to park the car in the parking lot.

I walked into the changing room then wore my white lab coat, i put my stuff inside of the lockers then washed my hands. After that i ran into the ER then met Martha the nurse that called me a when i was in the restaurant.

"Her name is Miss Jessica Autumn she's 28 years old she came here only with her 6 years old daughter" Martha informed me as we made our way to her bed.

Martha opened up the curtain for us then i found a lady with a long straight orange hair was laying on the bed, her skin looked pale her lip looked also pale. I saw a little girl with a blonde braided hair was sitting on the bed next to her,

"Hello Mrs Autumn, I'm sorry for making you wait" i said with a smile on my face.

"I'm sorry to bothered you Doc" she said with a thick British accents.

"What happened, how do you feel" I said then slowly began to check on her pulse.

I looked into her daughter who had a red nose and a tears on her eyes, i felt bad to see her, I didn't know where was her dad. And i felt so sorry that she had to be crying like that.

"My husband and i got divorced so i had to take her here" Miss Autumn said as she brushed her daughter's head.

"I'm sorry" i said while taking of the stethoscope from my ears.

"You don't have to, she's a strong girl" Miss Autumn said which made me smile.

"Miss Autumn can i talk to you for a minute?" I asked her then she nodded in agreement.

"Audrey would you like to go outside for a moment honey?" She asked her daughter but she shaken her head, she kept holding on her mom's hand.

"It's okay girl" Miss autumn said as Martha and i were looking at both of them.

The girl didn't want to let go of her mom's hand, she didn't want to left her mom and it was so cute of her.

"Wait a second" i said before picking up my phone from the pocket the began to dial Ayden's number.

"Yes babe?" He answered.

"Where are you?" I asked him.

"Outside the ER sitting with some other people" he said.

"Can you grab the Fries and the ice cream then come inside, i'll meet you at Bed 7" i said to him.

"I'll be there in a minute" he said before ended up the phone call.

Miss Autumn was still trying to made her daughter to waited outside for a moment until Ayden finally showed up with an ice cream and a fries.

Martha looked surprise when she saw him, he fleshed us a smile while holding a Paper bag that has an ice cream and a fries on it.

He looked at me with a question on his face,

"Audrey are you hungry?" I asked her.

Everyone were looking at her, she looked at me with a teary eyes while nodding slowly.

"I guess someone brought a fries and an ice cream for you, do you want to have some?" I asked her then she started to look interested.

"Okay, my friends here is going to take you outside okay" i said to her as she started to walked closer to Ayden.

He was only standing there while smiling, i know he didn't know what was going on,

"You go hold on his hand then he'll give you the food okay" i said to her then she nodded.

"Be Good Sweetheart" Miss autumn said.

"Just take care of her for a minute, love you" I whispered to him.

"Okay" he said.

Ayden picked Audrey up before bringing her outside of the ER, i was hoping he wouldn't make her cry.

I walked back into miss Autumn's bed and began to asked her how she really feels, until she finally told me that she had been stressing over her life. And i felt bad to here that, i gave her some advice and a little medicine to made her felt better.

She also said to me that she lost her appetite for the past few days, that's why she looked so weak and pale.

"Thank you so much doc" she said.

"And thank you for taking care of my daughter" she smiled.

"It's a pleasure" i said.

"Don't forget to eat some healthy food and take a rest okay, i'll bring your daughter here" i sent her a smile.

"Thank you" she said.

Martha and I finally walked out of the curtain leaving Miss Autumn on her bed alone,

"Sorry for bothering you" Martha said to me.

"It's my job" i said while smiling.

"I think I'm going to take my day off for the next two weeks, i have to go back to my home town" i said to her.

"Isn't it too long?" She asked.

"Yes but, maybe 10 days are okay" i said.

"We'll see about that" i said to her.

"You're a good young doctor Lana" she said.

"Thank you Martha, you're a good nurse" i said.

I walked outside of the ER and found Ayden was having a conversation with the girl, the girl was eating the fries while Ayden was trying to talk to her.

I watched them from a far and that moment made me feel so happy and lucky to had a person like him in my life.

"Oh look i think the doctor is done taking care of your mom, Lets get you back to her" he started to pick her up.

He walked closer to me then we walked inside of the ER, she took Audrey back to her mom. I could see Miss Autumn was thanking him and all he did was nodding while smiling.

I saw some of the people inside of the ER were also looking at him, he was walking back to my direction. We walked out of the ER together and made our way to my changing room.

"Poor little girl" He said.

"Where's her dad?" He asked.

"Her parents just got divorced so i think it's been a really hard days for both of them" i said with both of my hands were inside of my lab coat pocket.

"I feel sorry to hear that" he said.

"Thanks for helping me with my job Ayden" i said to him.

"I'm happy to help you" he said.

"Thank you" i said.
