"One regular cup of ice chocolate, and Two Almond croissant" the Barista said.

"Yes" i smiled.

"Thank you for ordering Miss Avalana" She said before giving me the food that i ordered.

"Your welcome" i smiled.

I walked out of the cafe while carrying the paper bag, i just got back from the library. I had a pretty nice day in the Library, meeting so many new lovely people was really my thing.

I was finally graduated from medical school a few months ago, it had been a relieved and i felt like I hadn't feel the free air outside. I had been spending the last six year with books and communicated less with people outside.

Mom asked me to came home to LA but I was getting cozy in England, I met so many new lovely people from college. And i felt so happy cause i had my grandma all the time to support me and Alec who was always coming around to visit me.

Alec and i were so close to one another, everyone who didn't know that we were actually cousins would think that we were a couple. Because since Ariana moved away to Paris for her fashion design school, Alec was the one who stayed in England. He was literally a best friend to me, i told him everything so did he.

I was walking to the apartment that pretty close from the cafe, so it was okay for me to just took a walk to grab some snack. Besides the weather was pretty good that day, i wore a blue dress with my sneakers cause why not i also put on a sunglasses to covered my eyes from the sunlight.

"Avalana looking so pretty today" a man with a camera began to follow me.

I ignored him with a smile on my face, I didn't mean to be rude but keeping my mouth shut and stayed in a silent was the best way to face them.

"Have you heard About Shawn Mendes's new Album?" One of them throw me a question.

"Are you coming to New York fashion week next week?"

They followed me and throw me with so many questions until i finally arrived at the apartment lobby, i got inside then went into the elevator right away. The elevator brought me to the top floor, once the door opened i walked out of the elevator while carrying the paper bag.

I opened the door then walked inside, i always loved the penthouse. It looked so modern and comfortable, this penthouse made me calm every time i stepped in. The penthouse was so beautiful complete with a glass wall that revealed a great view of England, it was so beautiful especially at night.

I put the paper bag right on the table in the dining room, I put the food on the plate prepared to ate it. I loved almond croissant a lot, completed with a really good ice chocolate from the cafe that i always visited every time i had a free time.

I remember when i was struggling with my college i always spent my time in that cafe until the barista even the owner knew me, they were so lovely and kind. That cafe had been a part of my life since the past 6 years, and i would never got bored with the food.

"Babe" i heard his voice came from behind me.

"You're awake" i turned around then found him wearing a black long sleeve shirt.

I knew that he was just awake i could tell it by looking into his eyes. He walked closer before putting his lips on mine, he gave me a peck on the lip.

"Good morning" he said while smiling and it was the hottest thing that I had seen that morning.

I was dating a hot Swedish actor after a few years since my last relationship with my ex, I finally forgot and got over it. Ayden, he came into my life like a cold breeze. I had seen him and heard about him so many times but didn't really pay attention to him, cause i was too busy with studying until i forgot about living a life.

It was my friend's party back then when i met him, everyone was talking about him back then. They had been talking about a handsome good looking actor was going to be at the party so everyone was so excited to met him.

I didn't want to came at all cause all i wanted to do back then was be with my books all night to prepared for the upcoming test. But one of my friends, Claire she made me go.

So that night i met him, i still remembered the first time i looked into those mesmerizing eyes, he was super tall and his strong stares somehow made me melt.

I had never thought about ended up having a relationship with a big actor like him, never thought he landed his eyes on me that night after so many girls were trying to had a conversation with him. He came then sat next to me that night, i was so surprised when he suddenly came up to me.

He made a couple jokes then he made me laughed that night, he began to asked for my name. We had a really nice talk, he made me laugh all the time that night until he finally asked for my number.

I thought i would never fell again until Ayden walked into my life, he seemed like an angel sent from above to teach me how to rebuilt a trust and believe in love.

"I bought you an"

"Almond croissant" he cut me before sipping on his tea, his eyes were staring back at mine while he was sipping on his tea.

"Yeah" i said.

I sipped into the ice chocolate then walked into the living room followed by him behind me, I turned on the TV then changed the channel into a family movie channel that played an animation movie.

He throw himself onto the sofa next to me, he slowly put his arm around me before getting comfortable on the sofa.

"My new movie premiere is in three weeks you should come" he said while looking at me.

I kept looking into the tv, i was watching the animation movie, Inside out. It was one of my favorite Disney movie.

"I don't think i can face the media" i said while my eyes still sticked with the Tv screen.

"You'll be fine, actually you don't have to face the media if you don't want to" he said then slowly put a piece of my hair behind my ear.

"Which movie?" I asked him.

"Deadpool 2" he said.

I wondered what roles he got.

"What role you got?" I asked him.

"Only a cameo but it is a cool movie" he said.

"i know i like the first one" i said.

"So are you coming?" He asked.

"We'll see" i said.

"I'm going to take a shower" he said before getting up from the sofa.

I reached my laptop from the table in front of us then began to open it, i searched for a Deadpool 2 trailer. I clicked on the video then the it began to play, i saw Ryan Reynolds started appeared on the laptop screen. I loved the first one and I was pretty interested to watched it plus my boyfriend played in it.

After that i began to look for his role in the movie and found out that he was one of the cameo which he was going to be appeared only for a few minutes in the movie. Okay then, besides I really wanted to be one of the first people to saw the movie, but at the same time I didn't like to be in front of the media.

My laptop screen suddenly showing diana's Contact on it which means i got a video call from Diana and I was so excited to picked it up. The last time Diana called me, she told me that her new lover that I had never met before, asked her to marry him and she also said she was going to be married in a few months. I was so happy to know that one of my high school best friends was getting married.

I answered the call and her face suddenly popped on the screen, i miss this girl so much. It had been a really really long time since i saw her, the three of us were still in touch with one another but I hadn't got back to LA since 6 years ago.

"Hey babyyy" Diana greet me.

"Hey Diana" i said to her while looking at her face, she looked different from where we were a teenager, she cut her hair into a short blonde but her personality was never changed.

I watch Ayden was walking down the stairs, well he finally finished taking a bath. It was a pretty quick shower. He changed his clothes, he was wearing a white fresh shirt with a black skinny jeans.

He looked at me and recognize that I was having a video chat with one of my friends because diana's voice was the only voice which was filling the whole room, since the tv was on the silent mode.

"And I'm so nervous about it, but his family is so fun and kind." She finally finished talking while I actually didn't hear to her previous words.

"I'm so happy for you" i said to her.

"I miss you so much Lana, Both of Sarah and i miss you. I Didn't have a friend like both of you when i was in New York" She said and it made me sad to heard it.

"Me too" i said.

Ayden suddenly got up from his seat then i watched him to got himself a piece of an almond croissant before getting back to the sofa then began to eat it.

"By the way" she said which caught my attention.

"I've bought a gown for both of you and Sarah." She said and looking so excited.

"Oh my god really?" I asked her.

"How do you know about my size?" I asked her.

I watch Ayden who was eating the croissant, he sat there while watching the movie on the tv without changing the channel.

"You won't believe who designed it" she said.

"Who?" I asked her with a flat tone.

"Ariana" she said, shut up she asked my cousins to designed my dress? That's so cool.

"Oh my god you didn't?" I said.

"Yeah she's the one" She said.

"I met her more often that I met you now"

"Ariana said that you're always busy with your books" she said which made a smile appeared on my face.

"she even thought that you're dating a book" she said.

I saw Ayden's lip curled into a smile after Diana said that, okay so he listened into every words she said while eating those piece of Croissant.

"Of course I'm not" i said to her while i was laughing.

"Both of Sarah and i had planned to go to your graduation but we couldn't we're sorry" she said.

"It's okay, I understand" i said to her.

"We know you were so busy with whatever project in your college Lana, but now you're graduated"

"come home" she said.

Her words seemed making the world around stop for a moment, I looked into the marble floor once she told me to go home, I wasn't so ready to faced my past.

"You'll be there on my wedding day won't you lana?" She asked which makes me finally looked up to the laptop screen.

I caught Ayden was fully paying attention to me, i could see his eyes were looking straight at me from the corner of my eyes.

"You have to be here okay it is going to be an important day for me and i want my best fiend to be there" she said and it made my heart felt heavy.

"You can take your hot Swedish boyfriend" she said without knowing that he was actually sitting behind the screen.

I looked into Ayden who was smiling while holding back his laugh, he was trying to got his focus back on the tv.

"Come on everyone knows that he's hot, even my mom said that he's hot once she saw you in the internet with him" she said and it made me laugh, the fact that she didn't know Ayden was actually sitting behind the screen and heard everything she said is so funny.

"Diana" i slowly said while trying to stop her talking about Ayden while he listened into everything she said about him.

"Diana.." I called her again.

"Yes bubz" she finally stopped talking and i throw a glance to Ayden who was so ready to pop on her phone screen.

"He's actually sitting in front of me all the time" i said then began to laugh.

She looked shock and embarrassed, her cheeks turned into a color of tomato and it was so funny to saw her looking so embarrassed like that, oh i miss this girl.

"Heyy" Ayden suddenly sat next to me after greeting diana.

"Oh my god, sorry, uh hey!" She said and I was only laughing at her stupid action.

"Thanks for calling me hot, I didn't expect everyone is going to talk about me like that" he said and it made me laugh.

"Oh sorry Mr Irvine, i mean"

"Calm down Diana, Ayden is fine"he said while i was still laughing over her funny reactions.

"Okay Ayden" she said awkwardly.

"I'm going to leave both of you alone, I'm going upstairs" he said before leaving both of us in the living room.

I watched him walking upstairs until i heard the sound of a door being closed,

"Lana are you Crazy!" She said then i laughed.

"Actually yeah, sorry i love you" i said.

"He's actually super hot tho, how could you sit next to him without doing anything wrong" she asked and i just laughed.

"Okay listen"She was back into a serious Diana.

"Lana i want you to be on my wedding day, there's no excuse I don't want to hear it anymore. You graduated from med school a few months ago and i know you're running out of your excuses stocks" she said as i smile.

"I'll be back sooner than you think, and i opromise I'm going to be there Diana" i said while staring into my best friend's face on the laptop screen.

"you promised okay, see you there bubz" She said as she hung up the video call.
