《Mr. Executive》Chapter 56

"You guys all right?" I question as I poke my head through the door.
My mum was undoing her suitcase and grabbing some clothes while my dad lounged on the bed.
"Of course sweetie, if we need anything I'll be sure to tell you."
I nod my head in acceptance and walk down the hall to where my brother and sister were arguing with one another.
For some reason those two never got along no matter what.
"I don't want to share a room butt face." Growls out Allie, glaring with full force at Ben.
"Real mature kid." Ben says smirking, only aggravating Allie even further.
"Allie you can share with aunt Cassie then if you want." I say, intervening not wanting it to break out into a full blown fight.
I was way too tired to deal with the two of them.
Allie turns to me with a wide eyed gaze before shaking her head in denial.
"N-no I'm fine, I'll share with Ben." She murmurs.
Turning to look at Ben, he shakes his head.
"She's my aunt and I love her but she's crazy and talks in her sleep." Ben mutters.
Laughing, I nod my head and wish them all a good night as I head into mine and Alexander's room.
Stepping inside, I turn and lock the door.
Heading into the huge walk in wardrobe, I grab a random white t-shirt before stripping and then slipping it on.
Too busy in folding my clothes, I jump as two warm hands grasp my hips and tugging me into a body.
Alexander breathes into my ear before biting and tugging on my earlobe.
"You know we could continue where we left off." He mumbles as he starts to place soft kisses down my neck.

Sighing in content, I lean further into him and granting him more access to my neck.
I place my hands on his arms that are now wrapped around my waist and furrow my brows.
Why was he wet?
Spinning around, my eyes go wide as I take in his half naked form.
The only thing shielding my eyes from his full extent was the white towel wrapped around his waist.
Beads of water trickled down his chest, then slowly to his and then into the towel which was resting on his waist showing off his v lines.
I could just imagine where the water trail has led to down and down and down.
"Nora." Alexander says, my eyes snapping to his to meet his amused and smug smirk.
My face flushes red at being caught red handed.
"So is that a yes?" He asks, stepping close to me once again.
"Huh?" I question, still not fully out of my staring.
Only now do I take note of how Alexander is pressed into me, his friend poking me in the stomach.
"Alexander no." I say as I rip my self away from him, with some difficulty I have to admit.
"Not while my parents are here."
"But Nora." Alexander groans.
Rolling my eyes, I leave the wardrobe and go into the room, ignoring a pouring Alexander.
********
"Oh my, it's so lovely to meet you all." Sandra gushes as she pulls my mother and aunt into a hug.
They both enthusiastically hug back and start talking like they've known each other all their lives.
Alexander looks down at me with the same surprised look on his face.
Meeting everyone which included David, Sandra, Stella and Abby, we all try to quite down our noise level as the restaurant was pretty crowded.

Reaching our table I go to sit down but Alexander grabs my hand.
Looking at him in confusion, he scowls at me before pulling my chair out further and then motioning for me to sit after which he slides the chair back.
I smile at Alexander's little antics and kiss him on the cheek when he sits down beside me.
He gently grabs my hand from under the table and intertwined our fingers together.
I wonder why he was being so 'lovey dovey' today.
"So I've been meaning to ask Alexander," Sandra begins, "where's the ring?"
"Ah yes I was wondering about that too." My mum squeals excitedly.
I'd completely forgotten about the ring what with Sam visiting the very same week and then news of my parents arrival the following week.
It shouldn't have really taken long, I mean all they had to do was get the correct size and that hardly takes long.
Turning my questioning gaze to Alexander, he clears his throat.
Squeezing my hand, he answers, "well um we had to get the correct size and then there was a little issue but it'll come soon."
Well that was vague.
"What issue?" I ask Alexander.
"Oh you know, the usual."
My aunt laughs lightly in her seat as she shares a knowing look with Abby and Stella.
What the hell was that about?
"So?" David begins and with that conversation starts up from all corners of the table as everyone converses with one another, all getting along quite well.
Nerves I hadn't known had formed, slowly started to fade away and I felt like I could breath a little easier.
The stress of ones family meeting their significant others was always stressful but everyone seemed to be getting along great.
Alexander squeezing my hand makes my head snap up and towards him as he motions towards his mother.
Looking at her, I smile in apology assuming she wanted to say something and couldn't get my attention.
"We all just wanted to know when the wedding was going to be set?" Sandra asks smiling from ear to ear.
"I'm not really sure but I was thinking maybe a fall wedding? I've always had a soft spot for them." I say happily.
Alexander looks at me wide eyed in shock before furrowing his eyebrows and then finally chooses to settle on one emotion.
He smiles from ear to ear, his grin almost blinding everyone.
"A fall wedding would be great." He says enthusiastically.
I had a feeling that the both of us weren't talking in morse code now and I had no idea how to wrap my head around the whole situation.
"Oh that's lovely. Me and your father had a fall wedding." My mother mumbles, getting emotional as tears pool in her eyes.
"Oh what do you know! Me and David had a fall wedding too." Even Sandra seemed a little teary eyed as her eyes were slightly rimmed red.
"How long do you think we'll have to wait?" Abby asks while Stella smirks and winks at me.
My eyes shoot to Alexander whom looks at me with an unreadable expression.
Maybe not long.
Not long at all.
