《Mr. Executive》Chapter 38

"I can't believe it's not even been a month and you guys are already so close and relationshipy."
"Relationshipy?" I question with a brow raised.
"Yup." Replies Candice, not bothering to say anything else.
"Well I don't know about the relationship part but it's been more than a month." I say straight faced.
Time does fly.
It's been around a month and half, the second month now almost reaching completion.
Alexander and I did hang out but that was pretty much it.
No dates.
No staying at each other's places.
It was pretty sad to be honest.
Sad and lonely.
Okay maybe I was exaggerating a tad.
"Oooh you have that charity thing coming up don't you?" Candice suddenly remembers, wiggling her eyebrows or well trying to.
I laugh at her failed attempt and nod to her question.
"When is that by the way?" She further prods.
"Friday." I mumble as I drink my coffee.
Shock masks her face and she seems to loose quite a bit of colour.
Just before I can ask if she's okay she let out a screech.
An inhuman one at that.
"What? Do you have a dress? Shoes? Hair and makeup ready?."
Candice fires out questions one after the other not even giving me chance to reply as she freaks out.
It's like she's the one going.
"Calm down jeez. I thought I'd wear the same one as the date." I shrug indifferently.
A gasp comes out of her mouth and I barely duck out of the smack coming my way.
"You, you, idiot. You can't wear that. Oh my lord."
Laughing at her over reaction I question at her,
"What's the big deal?"
"The big deal is that you've already worn that dress especially in front of Alexander and that Nora Davis will. Simply. Not. Do. And you need to look stunning, I mean there's going to paparazzi there and interviewers and all that jazz, not to mention you hanging off of Alexander's arm."

As she rants on about my stupidity I slowly start to understand.
As the weeks went by, I hadn't giving it much thought.
I mean it was just an event right?
But apparently not.
The whole Alexander being somewhat of a celebrity with him being a business mogul and all had skipped through my mind entirely.
"Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit. I'm screwed!"
Panic and nerves start swarming through me and my leg starts to shake ever so lightly under the table.
"Exactly." Candice deadpans.
Almost as if the good Lord was actually listening to my curses of misery, the best thing happened.
In the form of a small, purple haired, overly enthusiastic Stella.
"Nora!" I hear a screech from behind followed by a manlier voice telling her to quite down.
Candice's eyes were alight with happiness and wonder like a kid in a candy shop.
I barely had enough time to get out of my seat and turn around when I was engulfed in a strong, choking hug.
Deja vu much?
"Ah it's so nice to meet you again." Squeals Stella in my ear.
Laughing, I nod my head.
"Likewise."
She still hadn't let me go and I don't think she was planning to anytime soon as eventually someone pulled me from behind and into them.
From the comfort just exuding from him I could tell it was Alexander.
And maybe his signature cologne was a dead giveaway.
Looking over to see Candice next to me, I open my mouth to introduce both of them to each other but get stopped by Candice nudging me and motioning to Stella with excited eyes.
Why was she so impatient?
I almost giggle at the way she was acting and finally introduce each other.
"Stella this is Candice a friend of mine, and Candice this is Stella, Alexander's sister."

"It's so nice to meet you." Gushes out Candice.
Suck up, I smirk to myself.
"It's nice to meet you too." Stella beams.
"So you ready to go?" Stella looks at me.
"Huh? Where?" I ask in confusion.
Stella glares over at Alexander who was too busy on his phone, one arm wrapped around my waist.
Luckily though no one was in the cafeteria we where in as everyone mainly goes over to the coffee shop across the street during lunch.
"Uh yeah I might have forgot to mention it." He finally answers when I nudge him.
"Forgot what?" I ask once again, getting somewhat annoyed.
Why does Alexander always forget things?
I mean he runs a freaking business empire and yet he forgets the most important things.
"Well," Stella continues, regaining her smile once again, "you will be coming back to the boutique so you can try on the dress I made for you, for the charity event." She says excitedly.
"What?" I say, gaping.
"Yup! I've been working on it for a while now."
"But why? I mean-"
"Because I asked her to." Says Alexander simply, "you need a dress and all that crap right?" He questions.
Rolling my eyes at his choice of words, I nod and then quickly look around before kissing him on the cheek as a thank you.
Smirking Alexander leans down and whispers into my ear.
"You can thank me later."
And with that he gently tugs on my ear lobe before letting go.
Flushing bright red in the face, I look at Candice and Stella but luckily they're too busy talking.
"Hey Nora. Candice should totally come with us and help with the dress." Stella says almost pouting at me.
She sure did make friends quick.
Nodding my head, I quickly grow excited too.
"That would be great," I look at Alexander and give him my best pleading look, asking for Candice to come with us.
Alexander looks from me to Stella, a hopeful looking Candice and then finally at me before sighing in defeat.
"Ugh okay fine, you all can go. I'll have to notify Jeff though."
"Thank you so much." The three of us squeal.
I kiss him on the lips, well I try to peck him but clearly he doesn't like that as he doesn't let me go and pulls me further into him.
Trying to intensify the kiss as well.
The both of us two busy caught up in one another completely forget about the people behind us.
A soft coughing alerts us of the other two people in the room.
Wildly blushing once again, I step away from a smirking Alexander.
Candice looks thoroughly amused while Stella looks as if she's about to be sick.
Coming behind me once more Alexander whispers into my ear.
"You owe me for that as well."
And with that, Alexander stalks off out of the cafeteria.
Stella seemingly manages to brighten up once more, forgetting her brothers make out session, and motions for us all to leave.
Candice was for once quite, smirking to herself all they way even when we sat in the car.
Soon though she wasn't able to help herself as she nudges me.
Looking at her in question she comments,
"So blowjob?"
My face blazes bright red once more as Stella and Candice erupt into full blown out laughter.
I'm glad they enjoy my mortification.
