Chapter 19
"Morning" whispers a voice in my ear.
Opening my eyes I look beside me to see a grinning Alexander.
I smile back up at him and close my eyes once again.
Wait what?
My eyes shoot open as I straighten up in bed.
Looking wide eyed at Alexander, he simply grins at me showing his pearly white teeth.
He manages to look like the epitome of perfection even at a time like this, early in the morning.
While I know I look like a rag doll with my curly matted hair stuck up in multiple directions and most probably a bad case of morning breath.
His smile broadens while I narrow my eyes at him.
"I was waiting for that reaction" he says grinning.
"What reaction?" I question trying to remain calm.
"You know, you freaking out and everything. It's amusing" he says with mirth clearly showing in his eyes.
I roll my eyes as my stomach starts to churn in anticipation and nervousness.
Slowly getting out of bed and as far away from him as possible I start to take in deep breaths.
"Do you know how serious this is Alexander?" my tone coming out sharp.
"It's not like we had sex" he mutters under his breath.
"I hard that" I say lowly.
"Oh I know" he says winking at me.
Huffing I go over to one of the doors.
"That's the closet" comes a smug voice from behind.
I glare at the door.
Of course he has a walk in closet.
Not like I dreamed of having one since I was little.
Throwing him a sharp glare over my shoulder I stalk over to the other door and twist the handle and luckily it turns out to be the bathroom.
The bathroom was absolutely stunning with its clear pristine walls and elegant bathtub in one corner while it had one of those

rain showers in one corner with slate gray tiling.
It looked like pure and utter heaven.
Heading over to the marble sink, I wash my face and look around for a spare toothbrush.
No way in hell am I facing him again with morning breath.
Apparently he had other ideas.
Alexander barges into the bathroom like he owned the place.
Oh wait.
And strides over to me.
"I could've been naked you know?".
"I know" he says calmly "I wouldn't have minded" he continues.
I simply roll my eyes at him but thank him when he bends down under the sink, to the cabinet as he hands me a spare toothbrush.
I take it and put toothpaste on it before I start brushing my teeth.
We both stand there side by side in an awkward silence as we brush our teeth, the only noice was the scrubbing of us brushing our teeth.
Not being able to hold myself back anymore I start giggling uncontrollably and nearly choke on the toothpaste.
Alexander just looks at me and rolls his eyes but I can see a small smile tugging at his lips.
"You're so awkward Nora" he says as he finishes cleaning his mouth from the toothpaste.
I look away, trying not to die from choking and try to spit and rinse.
"I'll be downstairs, you can shower up here, there's towels in the cabinet under the sink" and with that he walks out.
I squeal in delight, knowing I get to take a shower in the new love of my life.
******
Freshly showered I cringe as I have to wear my old dirty clothes from yesterday as well as my undergarments.
Knowing I won't be able to do anything about it I dispel the thought from my mind as I head downstairs.

Going into the kitchen where I hear noises, I find Alexander setting down plates full of food onto the kitchen island.
He points at the seat in front of him and motions for me to sit down and eat.
I do so and the both of us finish pretty quickly.
Well I do since I hadn't had any dinner last night.
Just as I finish up I can see Alexander still has half of his breakfast left.
His eyes widen and I nearly blush from embarrassment.
"I forgot to feed you last night" he says mortified.
"What?"
I was not expecting that.
"Oh no it's fine. You were completely out of it, it's not your fault. By the way how are you feeling now?"
His brows knit together but he just shakes his head "I'm fine, thanks" he says as he gets up and leaves the room.
Looking at him leave in confusion I ignore him acting weird and put the dishes in the sink to clean up and put in the dishwasher.
Just as I'm done Alexander comes back in, wearing a new suit.
Just then I realise he must have showered elsewhere while I was showering in his room.
It was totally worth it though.
"Oh you shouldn't have done that" he says noticing me at the sink.
"No it's fine" I say dismissing him.
Alexander just nods as we both make our way out the house and to his car.
******
Pulling up at our destination, I step out of the car and come to a halt.
Instead of coming face to face with the huge building of the office, I'm shocked to see that Alexander's parked in the parking lot of a small quaint looking building, painted in cheerful colours.
"Come on" he says putting his hand on the small of my back and leading me into the building.
As soon as we enter I hear a squealing noise from somewhere in the big and spacious boutique room.
"Alex, I can't believe it, you're here" squeals the voice.
I don't even have time to see the person before I am pushed into an embrace as well as a slightly annoyed looking Alexander.
Surprisingly strong arms wrap around me and knock the air out of my lungs.
"Stella you might want to let us go please" calls out an uncomfortable looking Alexander.
"Yeah yeah. You must be Nora" says the purple haired girl, releasing us.
She, Stella, looks like the spitting image of Alexander except she has purple hair but they share the same face structure and chocolate brown coloured eyes.
"You are so pretty, prettier than Alexander was describing you as" she says gushing.
I look over at Alexander whom doesn't meet my gaze and just stares straight ahead but I can see a light blush on his cheeks.
"Not that I don't want you both to come but why did you?" Stella question beaming from ear to ear.
"Well sis, you and I are going to be giving Nora here a makeover and buying her a new wardrobe" he says calmly while I just stand there gaping.
What's wrong with my fashion sense?
