My nerves are getting the better of me. I have never been like this not even when I asked my wife to marry me did, I feel this nervous. Savannah does things to me that I cannot control. The urges I feel when she is around or close to me is something that I find extremely hard to control. She does the unthinkable to me making me want her the attraction is too intense. My niece will be living with us soon. The lawyers are working on it so, I am just buying my time for a minute. I looked in the mirror with a smile thinking I am going to take her tonight. My brothers look at me. "Josh, I hope you know what you are doing?". Pierce says.

"I know exactly what I am doing". Replying to him while putting my tie straight.

"Do you have a backup plan if she does not fall for your charms?". Gable is now questioning me.

"Gable I know what I am doing. Come on she had lapped up all the bullshit I have told her". He shrugs at me then Cole laughs.

"Josh, you underestimate her. Once you go to bed with her you will be hooked. Trust me. It took me four months to get her into bed and when I did, I found myself hooked. She has some sort of power that takes hold of you". Cole tells me then places his hand on my shoulder. "Just be careful". He adds.

"You worry too much. I am taking her out to dinner then having a little dessert". I tell them. I leave to go pick Savannah up. She might be pretty, beautiful have a body that is out of this world but, I will not fall for her the same way Cole did. I pulled up to her house got out of my car then walk up to the door. I knock waiting for her to answer. Chanel answers and lets me in. I walked into the kitchen waiting for Savannah.

"Savannah is just putting Kenna to bed". She tells me I stood with my hands in my pockets waiting then Savannah walks out from Kenna's room in an off the shoulder blue cocktail dress. She looked stunning. I step in front of her taking her hand then kissing her on the lips.

"You look beautiful". I tell her, I was not lying she did look beautiful. We leave to go to the restaurant for our meal. I had booked the most expensive and elegant restaurant in the city.

We sit at the table she has a white wine I have red. She gazes at the menu then places it down. She smiles at me taking a sip from her glass. "Are you ready to order?". I asked her.

"The lobster would be fine thank you". I order our meals. We sit she is quiet I glanced around then take her hand in mine.

"Savannah, thank you for saying yes". I am now trying to loosen her up a bit.

"Chanel said yes for me". She looks at the waitress, she placed the plates on the table. "Thank you". She says, the waitress smiles then walks off. "That is one big lobster". She says which makes me laugh. We sit eating our meal. She did not eat much of her lobster, she put her cutlery neatly on her plate so, the waitress knew she had finished. We sit having another glass of wine.

"I have a business trip I need to go on with my brothers so, I will not be able to visit Kenna for a couple of weeks". She smiles at me.

"I will let her know. She will be disappointed but, I will explain it to her". Her sweet soft voice is caring. I waved at the waitress for the bill. We had been sitting in the restaurant for a couple of hours. The waitress puts the bill down then Savannah picks it up glances at it then places her card. I am slightly confused to why she had done that, but she also caught me off guard. "It is my way of saying thank you". She tells me. I just smile. "Could you please excuse me". She takes her card from the waitress.

"Yes, by all means". I tell her I finish my wine then watch Savannah walk towards the bathrooms. I stood asked the waitress for a receipt. Walked towards the lobby then waited for Savannah. My phone rings It's Cole. "Cole. I am just leaving the restaurant". I tell him.

"Josh, I have thought about what you are doing. This is not right. Savannah does not deserve what you are doing to her. She is a caring woman who has been through so, much. I should have just left her alone when you told me you had seen her with a child". He is now pleading with me.

"What happens when she finally wants money from you?". I ask him.

"I will give it to her. But I know she will never ask me. She would never let me take her out. She would always pay her way. Josh please don't do this to her". He pleads with me.

"Cole if I didn't know any better, I would say you are still in love with the bitch. She fucking trapped you then had your daughter who now lives in a house that is not even fit for a rat. I will not stand back to watch my niece being brought up by a bitch that cannot look after her properly". I am angry.

"Josh, that is my daughter, you insisted that I go along with you just so you could show Savannah how you can hurt her for what she had done. If I do love her it is none of your god damn business. I will not stand back and let you hurt Kenna. She needs her mother. I mean it Josh". I turn to see Savannah just walking towards me.

"I need to go I will speak to you later". I hang my phone up place it in my inside jacket then we leave to go back to hers. I smiled at her a couple times she smiled back. We got to her house she unlocks the door then turns in front of me.

"Thank you for a lovely evening. I enjoyed myself". I stepped back placing my hands in my pockets. I am surprised that she is not asking me in. I lean towards her kissing her she smiled. "I would offer you in but, I have to be up early in the morning for work". I stepped back to the car opening the door then sliding in she waved I drove off.

When I came out of the bathroom I could hear Josh talking on the phone I did listen to some of the conversation which made me angry that he had played me for a fool. I had known all along not to let my guard down. I shut the door locking it too. I walked in to see my sister relaxing on the sofa I slumped on the club seat which made her look at me. I kicked my shoes off fold my legs up under me. "Savannah, I don't like the look in your eyes". I burst into tears she gets off the sofa then sits with me hugging me. "What the fuck happened". I gasp for air as I cried she pulls me tighter to her.

"He played me. All he wants is to take Kenna away from me. He wants to break me to show me how much of a bitch I am". My sobs are loud.

"How do you know all this?". She looks at me wiping my tears away.

"I overheard him on the phone to Cole. It sounded like Cole was pleading with him not to do it but, he told Cole that he thought he still loved me. Then telling him he would not stand back watching his niece live in a house that is not fit for a rat". I sob loudly again. We hear frantic knocking on the door. Chanel got up shaking her head. She answered the door. The next thing I see is Cole storming into the lounge. He looks at me shakes his head then takes me in his arms.

"Savannah, I am so, sorry. I have no idea what has gotten into my brother. I will not let him take Kenna from you. I am her father not him". He cups my cheeks. "I know we don't agree completely but, you are the most caring person I have ever met. You are the only one that I have ever loved. He is not getting away with it this time. This time he has gone too far". I am shocked that Cole is here.

My sister stands there with folded arms not looking to amused with what is going on. It did feel nice to be in Cole's arms again. He has always been gentle towards me. No matter how we would fight he always would be the first one to apologise. I rested my head on his shoulder while he smoothed down my hair. To think I had almost slept with Josh. He sits on the sofa with me on his lap just like we used too.

We sit hugging each other while he twirled with my hair. Chanel said night to us I just sit there on his lap while he held me tight. "I should never have told him what happened between us. That was meant to be between us not him or my other brothers. I left you alone because you asked me too. I did not tell anyone because that is what we agreed on. I knew all along Kenna had been my daughter but, Josh kept pushing me to have the test that I didn't want". He looks at me. "Putting our daughter through that broke my heart. When I saw you in Josh's office, he had called me saying he had some business thing to talk to me about. I did not expect to see you there with Kenna. I looked at her my heart filled". I smiled. "I had to deny she was mine to keep Josh from pursuing you but, it didn't work. We cannot tell him the full truth. If he goes any further I will have to tell him". He cups my cheeks then kissed me.

My body melted into his. He had such a hold on me. He lifts his lips gently then rests his forehead on mine. A while later we end up in my room on my bed just cuddling like we always used to. He pulled the fleece over us then took me in his arms pulling me safely into his embrace.
