"I don't know but Ken might, He used to date her back then, Something unfortunately happend so she ended things with his which put him in a pretty tight position." i blurted out without thinking.
Oh no.
Vegas's eyes widened as if he got electrocuted.
Wait, did i say something wrong?
Why's he making me think i did?
"Ken what now?" Vegas asked frowning his eyes demanding an answer from me once again.
I could see from the corner of my eye the way his hands began to form into fists.
I couldn't think straight, my head was full of questions
"Didn't you hear what i said?" I replied awkwardly not knowing what to say
"Okay Vegas what the hell is going on? Why are you suddenly so upset?" I asked, my curiosity taking me over.
I stared at him trying to analyse his emotions, trying to understand him but he says nothing and just stares into the ground as if he were....
Betrayed.
"Don't tell me... it's because..." I hesitantly start speaking, what i'm about to say might be true! Well it explains it.
Taking a small step towards him
"You like Ken!?" I whisper yelled as his eyes widened even more backing away from me.
"What! No?" He replied quickly giving me a judgemental look.
Well damn okay
But why's he suddenly so interested in this subject?
"Is there something your not telling me?
Vegas come on what's this all about?"
I ask again worried not for Jayon but his daughter.
"Nothing, I didn't know Ken could even pull" He said giving me a fake smile.
I don't want to think of it anymore, If he wanted to tell me he would've done it a while ago.
We both just stared at each other feeling the blank atmosphere catch our breaths.
"Sh*t is this a staring contest?!" I yell at him not wanting to look at the other dimension in his eyes any longer.

"Let's head back to the main family's house" He tells me.
This guy is not logical.
I suddenly remembered,
I didn't bring my car since Porsche drove me here.
"I don't have a car" i smiled and shrugged to to not embarras myself.
"Up for a ride?" Vegas offers throwing me his keys to his beautiful magnificent dark red motorcycle
"HOLY-"
"Yeah i know" He cuts me off slapping my mouth shut as he made his way to the bike.
"Not to be that kind of person or anything but tell me your letting me drive this" I say eyes wide open hoping for a positive answer
"If you don't kill us." Was his last words before i ran up and positioned myself in the drivers seat up front.
"Why are you just standing there? Come on!"
He sighed, smiled and positioned himself on the seat behind me as he held onto the back handle of the bike not wanting to make physical contact with me.
○20 mins later○
We are now in the high way.
"Want to see what a bodyguard can do?"
I asked looking to my left to get a slight peek of his face that was enjoying the widy weather that smoothly brushed his face.
He leaned near my ear whispering
"Show me what my bodyguard's got"
We both smiled in response.
"You might want to hold on for this one"
Next thing i knew was that one of his hands was on my waist and the other up my shoulder holding on for support.
Not wanting to waste anymore time i speeded up the highway through all the cars, Leaning onto the edges of the bike i felt vegas's grip harden on my body as he placed his head on my shoulder enjoying the moment of his life.
"OH MY GOSH" He yelled.
I could see his wide smile from the bikes mirror. To be completely honest I've never seen Vegas genuinely smile, Especially when he's with me.

His jawline that was perfectly formed with his beautiful lips showing his well aligned teeth when he smiles so widely.
I wanted a glance of him fully.
Not through the mirror.
Turning my head to see my shoulder which his head was placed on still on speed we both looked at each other, smiling widely as i could see the sparkle in his eyes.
He's deadly beautiful.
For the first time it felt like me and him had completely nothing to worry about.
We are free as if we were birds flying through the night sky.
The rest of the night went on as we stayed up till 4AM taking turns on highways.
○Back to the main family's house○
"Um pete.. THAT was f*cking awsome"
I said excitedly as me and Pete walked into the main family's door panting out of breath and dizzy.
In response Pete just smiled nodding his head.
I couldn't help but simply smile back at him, That smile will soon disappear when we get into action tomorrow for our plan on Jayon.
But today i can't deny the fact that he's different.
He's deadly different.
"HANDS UP"
Someone screams hiding behind the door as we walked in.
What the hell? Why am i always getting aimed at? I sighed turning to him.
I heard Pete run toward the bodyguard pushing his gun down from me.
"He's with me" Pete said.
"You must be new? Hi i'm Pete!" Pete introduced himself to the so called new bodyguard that nearly shot me like the rest of them.
"Sir Pete! My apologies! I had no idea, I'm venice"
Venice introduced himself smiling widely at Pete and shifting his gaze to me.
"My apologies sir"
He then bowed down to me.
Apology my as*.
Porsche walked in the room seconds later saving me from the awkward situation.
"So where were you lovebirds at?"
Porsche asked taking me and Pete over by surprise.
"We aren't LOVEBIRDS?" Me and Pete yelled towards Porsche.
We both directly made eye contact
"I was going to say that" i snapped frowning at Pete.
"I was going to say that but why are you saying that?" Pete replied snapping back at me.
"We were trying out Vegas's bike, Well more like I was but it was magnificent" Pete replied as if his eyes were about to explode,
So much love talking about my bike.
"Great to have you two back, The man that chatted with Pete at the Casino is here to see you"
My eyes widened, Breath taken away by the air, Heart dropped down to my stomach.
"What the f*ck Porsche!? Why did you let him in?" I yelled at him pushing him to the side as i ran upstairs into the meeting room.
That man is more dangerous than he seems,
He's capable of finishing the people i love.
I barged into the room with no authorisation to enter.
"Sir Vegas! Oh my we finally meet face-to-face after all these years".
"What game are you playing Jayon" i asked with an angry expression knowing he's trying his mind games with me.
Someone else barged into the room in shock and confusion.
"Jayon, what brings you here?"
To be continued...
I sincerely apologise cor the late uodates.
School began and i'm pretty BUSY. I'

Dust and Glory
A century after World War III left the planet a nuclear wasteland, earth is nearly unrecognizable. Alien ‘Benefactors’ have taken control of North America’s most populous cities and built indomitable walls around them, defending their inhabitants but trapping them under a totalitarian rule. Outside these citadels, chaos reigns, led by the mutants of the wasteland; cultists, raiders, and canibal clans. Glory, a rogue android, is roaming the wastes after escaping her sadistic “father”. Alone and reeling from the effects of a previously sheltered life, her only ray of hope is Reza City, built upon the ruins of what used to be Phoenix, Arizona. True, the Benefactors have a strict ban on self-aware artificial intelligence in place, but that should only prove an issue if they realize she’s an AI. The real problem is what lurks outside the city: over a million square miles of harsh, unyielding desert. And slinking between the dunes and the fissures are the mutants, looking for an easy victim.
