《The Puppy Type (OHSHC)》12. Big Brother is in a Reverse Harem

Just another typical day in the host club. There aren't any guests yet, but the hosts are all dressed up in different police outfits. Haruhi matches Honey. Mori matches Kyoya. The twins, of course, match, and, per usual, Tamaki and Daichi are the odd ones out. While the boss is dressed in some kind of princely get-up, Daichi is wearing a black outfit similar to Kyoya's except that the first year's has a large 'K-9' written on the back and the sleeves. He quite enjoys it.
Their first guest comes soon, and she is... a little girl?
Tamaki approaches her nonetheless with his usual charm. "Oh my, what an unusually young guest! Well, glad you're here... my little lost kitty cat." Daichi looks up at Kyoya strangely.
"Kitty?" he asks quietly.
Kyoya absentmindedly starts ruffling the boy's hair, his eyes in his book. "Not like you, puppy. Just a name." Daichi nods in understanding.
"Little Kitty Cat, why have you come to see us today?" Tamaki asks.
The little girl points a finger at the hosts in pondering. "It's a reverse harem! This is a reverse harem!"
Daichi feels Kyoya's hand stop. Everyone is shocked to the core at hearing this little girl, but -- "Harem?"
Kyoya clears his throat, putting his book down. He fixes Daichi with an uncertain look. "I'll tell you later. It's not something this girl or you should know about really."
"That can't be right," Tamaki says frantically, banging on his own head. "I must have heard wrong. Maybe there's still some water in my ear from when I went swimming."
The twins fully agree, but the little girl isn't done.
"There is debauchery here! Yay!" Again Daichi is confused, but he doesn't bother asking Kyoya. It doesn't seem like he'd want to know. "There's debauchery here, isn't there? You're the glasses character. You are the boy lolita and the stoic type. Twincest. And the bookworm. You're wearing a collar. You must be bondage boy... Big brother?" She stops at Tamaki, and Daichi takes the opportunity to look at Kyoya.

"Bondage?" Honestly, how does this little girl know all these things he doesn't? Kyoya blushes just slightly and mouths a 'later'.
"My brother's blond!" the girl shouts at Tamaki. "You must be him!" She launches herself into Tamaki's arms, and that's when the nonsense starts.
Soon, Nekozawa arrives, but he's dressed normally It's the first time anyone's ever seen him without his cloak and wig. He tries to entice Kirimi to him, and that's when Daichi realizes (from safely behind Kyoya's back thank you very much), they're brother and sister.
The hosts decide that it's unlikely to make Kirimi unafraid of the dark, so, instead, they decide to force Nekozawa into the light. Daichi doesn't like the whole scenario either. Kyoya doesn't want him with Haruhi and Kirimi because they're reading shojou manga. However, Daichi doesn't want to go in that dark room where Nekozawa is. Kirimi isn't the only one afraid of him.
Still, he does as he must and goes with Kyoya. Since there's no way he'd be able to witness everything going on, Honey distracts him by drawing on the chalkboards. The two spend their time that way. It's a long day, but it helps the hours spent in darkness go by quickly.
Towards the end of the day, Kirimi stops by all on her own. She starts crying because of the dark, and Tamaki is the one to stop her crying, not her real big brother. Then Nekozawa looks like he's gone insane. Daichi, more than a little freaked out, hides behind Kyoya, waiting for it to be over.
Then he hears Kirimi's scream, and he peeks his head out. Nekozawa is lying on the floor in defeat, and Kirimi has gone running. Without a word, Daichi goes after her at a pace where she won't notice him, but he won't lose her.

What kind of princely big brothers do those boys think they are to let a little girl wander this huge school all on her own?
She finally ends up outside, and, as expected, she looks lost. She's stopped somewhere, and Daichi can't see what it is she's looking at. Then, he sees Nekozawa running towards her, and he... passes out? What's going on? Daichi walks closer, curious. That's when he spots it. A cat, the dog's natural enemy.
Daichi, scared witless, yelps and jumps up onto the nearest thing, which happens to be a tree. Even when the thing leaves, it takes the other hosts' effort to get him down the tree.
Kyoya: Daichi, the cat is long-gone. It can't hurt you.
Honey: Come on. Just come down the tree~~
Haruhi: I can't believe he's stuck up a tree.
Twins: Mori-senpai, get ready to catch him. I think he's coming down!
Mori: Hm.
A/N: Different style ending. Just like the idea of Puppy Daichi being afraid of cats. As always, lemme know what you thought in the comments, and, if you liked it, feel free to give it a vote :)

Artemis
"Let them go, Dante." I whip my head to see a small boy standing the clearing with blonde hair and a green cloak hanging from shoulders. He isn't very tall however he holds his stance well. He doesn't seem to be more than Cassandra's age. Maybe 12 at most. I abruptly turn my head back hearing the man holding a sword to my throat chuckling with a sinister grin. "Oh, poor boy, what are you go to do about it?" The yellow teeth gleam as he begins stalking towards the boy who does not look the least bit fazed. I look around at the other men who are following the leader. I pull Cassandra tighter to my back as I take small steps back. I keep my eye trained on the men but also fear for the naive boy. "Do you really want to test me Dante?" He asks raising a single eyebrow. For a minute the men stop their movements. I see their hesitation for fear... Fear of what? I take the moment to stick Cassandra behind a nearby tree. She crouches down while I pull my sword out from its place. "How do you know my name?" The scoundrel raises his sword challenging towards the boy before taking a final step towards him. Then the unexpected happens. The young boy chuckles so darkly. It sounded almost... demonic. All the men instinctively raise their swords. "Oh Dante, I didn't know your name... but you know someone dear to me." "Spit it out boy!" The once grinning man is now looking around frantically. I continue my eyes scanning the small boy. He looks directly me and gives me a small nod before saying one word that caused all hell to breaks loose. "Artemis." Artemis is not an ordinary girl. She grew up in the wilderness after being shunned due to unique abilities and her different physical attributes. Blessed with an ability that scared others, she roams the wild with only her guarded one. That is until she stumbles into a situation that brings her in front of a prince.
