《Not My Type | ✔️》Chapter 4

The entire ride to the club I could see Cole staring at Olivia every few seconds. My cheeks were burning with anger. Why? I had no idea.
When we got out of the car, Cole immediately ran to Olivia and started to talk and 'comfort' her. I couldn't help but glare at him. Out of the corner of my eyes, I could see Jake's mouth moving, but right now I had more important things to focus on.
Olivia and Cole.
I caught Olivia awkwardly look back to catch me staring sometimes but I continued to do it anyway. I would glare at Cole. And then glance at Olivia.
Back to him, back to her, back to him.
Why am I even getting upset? I barely know her. It's not like I own her. Besides, it's not as if I like her.
He held the door open for her when we got to the front and let it slam on Jake and I. Jerk.
"Booth please." Cole said politely and the woman at the front gave him a small nod before leading us to where we'd be sitting for most of the night. Of course, we are allowed move somewhere else as we please, but this is where our drinks would be delivered to.
I sat next to Jake as Olivia and Jerkface - I mean Cole - sat together on the opposite side. "What would you like to drink, beautiful?" Cole asked Olivia with a charming grin.
"Just water." She answered awkwardly.
Jake laughed a little, "Your girl's no fun, is she Cole?" He laughed more while getting up and walking towards the bar. Cole rolled his eyes and followed behind him. When they were both out of sight, Olivia looked back at me and said, "Didn't know I was the buzzkill. Sorry."

I sighed, "You're not, trust me. If anything I'm the bigger buzzkill. I prefer to stay sober with them. I need to be their designated driver." She chuckled softly to herself at my remark which made me smile.
"So, do you like Cole?"
"He's nice." She replied blankly.
Hmph. Not such the lady's man you thought you were Cole.
"I can understand that." I said with a small grin appearing on my face.
Just then, Cole appeared holding a glass of water and a bottle of alcohol. He sat the water down in front of Olivia and looked back at me. "Carter, I didn't get you anything. You might want to look for yourself."
"I'm not drinking anything tonight. Thanks anyway." I say looking over at Olivia. She was smiling at me which made Cole glare a bit.
"Where's Jake?" Olivia asked after a minute or two of awkward silence.
Cole pointed behind him at the bar, "He met some chick on his way back and then.. never made it back."
**************
Later that night, all of us (Jake, Olivia, Cole and I) were sitting at the booth together. We were just talking and occasionally we'd have laughing fits. Cole and Jake were a bit... hazy. To say the least, they were acting pretty immature at times.
"I got that chick's number!" Jake laughed obnoxiously.
"Congrats man," Cole said, "But I got herrrr number." He pointed towards Olivia and I could see her getting pretty uncomfortable.
"Alright," I said while grabbing the keys, "We're leaving before you two get even worse headaches than what you're already going to have."
"I don't want to!" Jake exclaimed, pounding his fist on the table top. Cole was also shaking his head but I decided to ignore his actions.

"I guess you'll be walking home.." I said chuckling.
"Fiiiiiiiine." Jake and Cole both said in a unison.
We walked out to the car and I was driving. Olivia sat in the passenger's seat and the other two were in the back.
"The backseat should keep them contained." I laughed.
"It might help." She replied with a small smirk.
**************
Maybe about fifteen minutes later I pulled in front of the dorm buildings.
Olivia got out pretty fast and I followed. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow?" I asked.
"Of course." She smiled before walking up the stairs and entering her dorm.
I stayed there staring at the door before getting back into the car and driving Jake and Cole to their places.
