《Not My Type | ✔️》Chapter 2

Entering the classroom, I scan the room for my best friends, Jake and Cole. After just a few moments, I spot them on the far right side. As I make my way towards them, the professor gives me an unidentified look, but I continue walking to my seat anyway.

Only a couple feet away from a seat next to my friends, Cole whisper-yells, "First day at the University!" Jake whisper-laughs at him and I just chuckle lightly.

"This school's going to beat you guys up, better get ready." I say, sitting down. They exchange glances before whisper-laughing again.

Jake points to the professor, "There's no way that that guy could take me. I'd kill him in an instant."

"Sure you could," I say, looking down at my arm. I noticed a scratch that was just given off to my skin a couple minutes previous from a girl in the hallway. She seemed pretty distracted so when she fell, it took her a few moments to realize that I was in front of her. She just stared and observed everything on my face, or my body.

"I'm Carter." I had said to her.

"Nice to meet you Carter, I'm Olivia." She pronounced confidently before flashing me a cute smile.

12:30 finally came and class was over. The professor had only lectured to us about this year's classroom rules. I'm just glad that since it was the first day of classes, he didn't give out any homework for us to do.

When I'm walking down campus, Cole runs up to me, waving his phone around in my face. "Guess who just got a cute girls' number?" He asked, finally putting his phone back in his pocket.

"Wow," I say sarcastically, "Slow down tiger. A girls' number? Already? You haven't even been to more than one class!"

He chuckled a bit before replying, "I met her on my way to the vending machine. She had really dark black hair and the lightest blue eyes. Actually, she was pretty cute."

Black hair. Blue eyes. The girl I met in the hallway was the same. I'm sure there's more than one girl like that in the whole campus, though.

"Did she mention her name?" I asked.

He nodded, "Her name's Olivia." He said before burying himself back into his phone. Without looking back up he added, "It suits her."

Black hair. Blue eyes. Named Olivia. Okay, that's not a coincidence. "Odd. I met the same girl in the hallway this morning. I'll agree, she was cute." I chuckled a bit at the end. He chuckled a bit with me and put his phone into his pocket.

"I hope you don't mind then. Because I invited her to hang out with us today after her classes are all over." He says.

When my three beginner classes were all finally over, it was about 4:00 PM. I figured that I'd go ahead and text Cole about hanging out today.

'Hey. When are we planning on leaving for the club?' I text.

'I'm picking Olivia up from her last class right now. I'll be to your dorm building in a few minutes.' He text back a couple moments later.

A few minutes later - as promised - Cole was there to pick me up. Jake was in the passengers seat, Cole obviously in the drivers, and Olivia in the back seat behind Cole. I, of course, sat in the seat behind Jake.

Jake smirks at Olivia before speaking. "Hey. I was thinking, when we get to the club, maybe you'd like to dance?" He put his charming smile on and I can't help but roll my eyes.

That charming little -
