Detective Lee felt his heart sinking just by looking at Red's painful and vengeful eyes. He's body went cold as drops of cold sweat started to form on his forehead. Red didn't say anything but he could feel his heart thumping really hard that he could hear it in his ears. Red's words scares him so much. The man didn't say anything but his expression made Cameron nervous. He doesn't like how Red's lips were curved into an evil grin.

"What do you mean? What are you planning to do?" Detective Lee asked as he swallowed hard.

Red went silent and then slowly, a bigger crazy, devilish smirk curved on his lips. Detective Lee furrowed his brows as he clenched his fists from nervousness. Worried that Red might be planning something bad against his partner whom he hasn't found yet. He's scared for Officer Chad's safety.

"What? Do you realized how fearful it is just by thinking that someone very important to you will die?" Red asked.

"Red, it's me who had wronged you and Lee Han Se. Don't drag Devius in here. I beg you." Cameron's voice became very inferior.

Red smiled. "I like you begging but it won't change the fact that my dear brother had already died because of you."

"Red-"

"If we haven't met you. If only you never existed... Han Se might still be alive and with me to this moment. Wr might have built our dream happy family."

"I never meant for everything to happen-"

"Yes! You never meant for the fire to start, you never meant for Han Se to sacrifice his life so you could live but when you didn't even look back? That, you chose to do that."

Cameron couldn't answer because he knew he did. The fear in his heart made him unable to look back at that place before. The thought that he could finally escape of the nightmarish place made him want to forget how it looked like. He doesn't want to ever look back even if he knew that someone could still be there. Even if he doesn't remember it clearly, he knew he never looked back.

On the other hand, Officer Devius Chad and Ju Jin Su or Kairo Sedis Parker are standing face to face. They're both listening to what is happening outside but still observant with each other. After an utter silent, Devius sighed deeply. He wanted to say a lot of things but he doesn't know where to start. The fact that one of the person he trust, Detective Kairo Sedis Parker, is standing in front of him and is on coalition with the culprit, Red, just made everything so confusing yet so unbelievable for him. He daw Detective Parker as someone very just and someone who will always choose to do what is right.

"Detective Parker, is it worth everything? Red's revenge, it won't change anything, wouldn't it?" He spoke. "What is the purpose of all this if it will only hurt both of them even more?"

Ju Jin Su took a deep breath and shook his head. "The purpose of revenge is to hurt the people who hurt you but as for Red, it wasn't that. He's taking revenge because he wanted some answers. He wanted to know why everything happened." He said in a long litany.

"I don't understand. If saving Cai is the reason why the real Lee Han Se died, why would Red want to kill him?"

"He's not going to kill him, Devius. Hyeol will never hurt Cameron because he's the only person that makes Hyeol want to live. Cameron is only reason why Hyeol still remembers the real Lee Han Se."

"I'm very confused right now."

"I told you. He just wanted some answers."

Officer Chad couldn't clearly understand what Ju Jin Su had said. If Red doesn't want to hurt Detective Lee, then what is his revenge for? If he just wanted to ask some questions. If he just wanted to know the reason behind everything, why would he waste other people's lives? Why did he choose to kill instead of just asking him?

Outside the room, Red and Detective Lee are looking straightly at each other. Both has no expressions in their faces now but they both know that behind those expressionless faces hides their real feelings.

"Detective Lee Jin Hong, I will make you feel all the suffering I had all throughout these years. I will make you cry blood! I will hurt you to the point that you will beg me for mercy! I will hurt you more than you've hurt me!" Red swore with eyes full of anger and despise.

"Yuhyeol-"

"STOP!" He shouted making Detective Lee taken aback in surprise. "Don't you ever dare call my name like that again."

"I-I'm sorry. I know I have sinned against you. I know I made a mistake when I left you and Lee Han Se alone in the burning basement. I know I've done things that have hurt you but I'm already regretting. I am being devoured by my conscience for that. We were very young at that time and I was so scared to even look back, I was still very young. All I wanted then was to get out of that hellish place. Forgive me, Red." Tears started streaming down his face as he sincerely look Red in the eyes.

"Yes, you're right. You have sinned against me and you sinned more against Han Se but are you really regretting it? Do you even remember it if I haven't made you? Don't fuck with me, Detective. I know how pretentious you are." He said in an angry tone.

"Red..."

"Yes, we were kids before. You said it yourself, we were kids. He was just a kid before who tried to save the person whom he know would do the same if he ever meet hus doom but it turned out, the person whom Han Se thought would save him didn't even care to give us a glance as we were being devoured by the giant fire." Red's words struck Detective Lee directly at the heart.

It's true that he remembered everything now. It's true that he's regretting everything now. He regret not doing something to save Lee Han Se out of that burning building. He regret forgetting about him. If he could go back in those times, he will make a change of action. He wouldn't run and be scared. If he could bring back the past, he will turn back to the building and save Lee Han Se even if it will cost him his life. He will not be a coward like he used to be. If he could only turn back the time but he couldn't.

"What? You can't say a word? Are you ashamed of yourself now? Well, you should be! You left us to die. You left Han Se to die while he chose to die and save you. We cared for you but did you ever cared for us? No." Red tried not show his emotions but then tears started flowing down his cheeks too because of his anger, sadness, regret and everything that he's feeling at that moment.

Detective Lee took a step forward and shook his head. "Believe it or not but I did care for you. I may not have returned to save you but I have been punished for that. I lost my memory, my identity-"

"That's nothing compared to me! You just lost your memory and identity while I lost my life, you asshole! I lost everything while you just lost something! I lost my brother. The only person whoever cared for me!" Red talked back.

"Red-"

"But now I'm taking everything back. I will take what is supposed to be mine and Han Se." Red took held the gun tightly as he utter those words.

Detective Lee's eyes widen as Red slowly aimed the gun at him with a grin. "Red..."

"Jin Su, get him here." Red ordered and one of the rooms' door swung open.

At that point, Ju Jin Su grabbed Devius and took him out of the room. Both Red and Detective Lee looked into the open door's direction, waiting for someone to come out of there. When the people from that room were finally revealed, Cameron's eyes were filled with surprise and confusion. Detective Kairo Sedis Parker was holding a gun aimed at Devius' head while his partner's hand were tied behind his back.

"Detective Parker? What are you doing here?" He asked in confusion but instead of an answer, Ju Jin Su just looked at Red. Even without explanation, Detective Lee already know the answer. "Y-You colluded with him? W-Why? How could you do this? You're a man of the law, Parker!"

"Why? How does it feel to be betrayed, detective?" Red asked in a teasing tone.

Detective Lee swallowed hard, he couldn't believe it. He just looked at Officer Chad who gave him a slight and reassuring smile that he wasn't hurt and that everything is fine. After confirming that he wasn't hurt, Detective Lee felt a little relieved.

"How romantic. Will you just stare at each other now?" Red teased again, still aiming the gun at the detective's direction.

"Red, please stop this. This is not what you wanted." Officer Chad mumbled.

Red looked at him as if he just said a joke. "How did you know what I wanted? You know nothing, officer, just like you know nothing about the guy you said you love." He stated.

"I don't care who he is in the past, what's important to me is who he is now." Devius seriously answered.

Red smiled. "Really? Even if he killed someone before?"

"He didn't kill no one, Red. Your brother chose to die for him, you said it yourself. You can't blame Cai for what happened in the past." He stated.

Red laughed but anger is visible in his voice. "So you mean because Han Se chose to sacrifice his life for him, he has the right to take what was supposed to be Han Se's? Is it right to live with my brother's name? Is it right to forget about him? Is that what you're saying, huh!?" Red shouted and aimed his gun towards Devius.

"Red! Please! Don't hurt him." Cameron begged.

"Jin Su, give me your gun." Red commanded.

"Why?" Jin Su asked.

"Just give me your gun." He said, Ju Jin Su has no choice but to do as he was told.

Red took it and aimed it to Cameron's direction. Now, he was holding two guns which were aimed at the officer and the detective. Cameron was so scared just by looking at the weapon pointed at his partner. Ju Jin Su was just standing a meter away from Devius.

"Hmm. Jin Su, what do you think is the best thing to do?" Red asked with a chuckle.

Ju Jin Su sighed. "It's up to you. I'll just be here and if you need me, I'll do my best to serve you." He responded.

Red nodded. "Okay. My choice, then." He smiled evilly. "Since you love each other, why don't we create a masterpiece? Let's do a remake of the famous novel - Romeo and Juliet - but this time, let's make it more exciting. Instead of a suicide, I'm the one who will take your lives. How's that?"

"Red, please. It's me who have sinned against you and Lee Han Se, Devius has nothing to do with it. You can just kill me but please, let him go." Detective Lee begged.

That made Red smile even more. "Wow! What a typical leading man you are but it's too bad, we aren't in the movies where leads get to live. In my own movie, you both will die."

Without a word Detective Lee's silence enveloped the surroundings. He doesn't know what to say or what to do. He is trained but at this moment, can he use his skills if the life of the person he love is at stake? He doesn't want to risk Devius' safety. He wouldn't be able to take it if something bad happens to the person he loves.

"Parker, please, you can kill me but please don't hurt Devius." He pleaded his colleague but Ju Jin Su only looked at him without uttering a word.

"Jin Su's loyalty is mine. He will never betray me like you did to Han Se." Red said.

"It's me who did something wrong to you, why do you have to drag Devius in?"

"Why? Simply because you'll be hurt if he's hurt. I wanted to see you in pain but I'll never get contented! Because even if I kill everyone important to you, my brother will never be with me ever again!"

"Just kill me if you want but leave Devius alone-"

"No!" Officer Chad interrupted. "I won't just let you get killed in front of me. If you wanted to hurt him, you have to kill me first." He challenged Red.

The latter just smirked and fixed his gun towards the officer's forehead. "Do you really wanted me to do that? Do you really wish to die, Officer Chad?"

Devius clutched his fist and nodded. "Yes."

"Fine. Your wish... is my command-"

"NO! DON'T HURT THEM!" Red was about to pull the trigger when Harold Lee suddenly showed up from nowhere. "Don't kill them, Lee Yuhyeol!" He repeated.

Red turned to look at Harry who was standing a few feet away behind Cameron. He doesn't know who Harry is. He furrowed his brows in annoyance.

"Who are you to interrupt me?" Red questioned.

Harry took one step forward. "Don't hurt them. Don't hurt Cameron. He never took the identity of Lee Han Se. He never meant to forget him. He came back many times to that place. He tried to save you and Lee Han Se." He said in a long litany.

"Stop lying! I know what he did, I was there!" Red shouted.

Harry shook his head. "I was there too. I saw Cameron come back and try to get into the building even if it was already being devoured by the fire. I saw how he cried so much calling for Lee Han Se's name. Even when he lose consciousness, he kept calling Lee Han Se's name."

"No! I don't believe you!" Red shook his head.

"It's true! Cameron came back to save Lee Han Se but because of exhaustion and fear, he fainted. Even when he was unconscious, he was calling Lee Han Se's name. That's the reason why I named him Lee Han Se. I am the one who gave him that name, he never stole it." Harry explained, Red shook his head and took a step backward. Ju Jin Su hurriedly assisted him.

"You're lying! You're lying!"

"If there's anyone to blame, it was me. I wasn't there on time. If I only I came earlier, I must have saved Lee Han Se. I might have done something for that poor soul." Harry's eyes begun to be filled with tears and regret was mirrored in his voice.

"Dad, is this true? Y-You were there? Is that the reason why you adopted me? Was it because you felt guilty? You didn't adopt me because you think that I'm special. You took me in to get off your guilty feeling." Cameron's heart was like being torn apart.

"I'm sorry, Yuhyeol, Cameron. I am the only one to be blame here." Harry apologised. Then, he turned to look at Red. "Lee Yuhyeol, Cameron never did anything bad. He had always been caring for you and Lee Han Se. When I took him in, he was always dreaming about your brother at night. I always hear him utter Lee Han Se's name-"

"STOP! STOP TALKING! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR YOUR LIES! LEE JIN HONG BETRAYED MY BROTHER! HE LEFT LEE HAN SE TO DIE! I WON'T LISTEN TO WHATEVER YOU'RE SAYING! I KNOW WHAT HE DID!" Red screamed ballistically and aimed the gun at Cameron.

"Nooooo!" Harry run in front of Cameron to protect him from the bullet.

Red pulled the trigger with an evil smile, everything played in slow motion as Devius and Cameron look at him in shock. Red's face was filled with confusion when he felt Ju Jin Su took the gun from him. He turned to look at Jin Su, he was holding the gun at Red's direction. Tears are streaming down his face. Moments later, they all saw as Harry's clothes became stained with blood as he slowly kneeled on the floor.

"Dad!" Cameron quickly caught him. "Dad, please. Why did you do that?" He asked, crying.

Harold smiled. "Camz, i-if there's s-someone who has to p-pay for all of t-this... i-it was me." He struggled to say as blood started oozing from his mouth.

Cameron's heart pounding hard. "Dad, please don't talk. I'll call for help. EA hold on for me." He held Harry's hand tightly.

"HYEOL! You said you will not hurt anyone!?" Ju Jin Su asked, Red looked at him with an empty eyes.

"They're telling me lies, Jin Su!"

"But you said you will not hurt anyone!"

"So what? Will you arrest me now? Or will you shoot me too?" Red sarcastically smiled.

"If I had to, I will arrest you."

Red stared at Ju Jin Su. "You'll have to kill me first."

"Hyeol!"

Red didn't say a word, he turned to look at Devius who was just standing and looking at Cameron's direction. The detective was holding his adopted father's hand while sobbing. Blood were pouring out of Harry's mouth and his eyes are starting to look dull.

"Goodbye, Lee Jin Hong." Red uttered.

"Red, no!" Devius shouted. "Just kill me, don't hurt Cai." He pleaded.

"Why do you all wanted to sacrifice your lives for this ungrateful bastard?" He asked.

"Because we care for him. We don't want anything bad to happen to him. I love him and just like Lee Han Se, I am willing to die for him. So before you could do something bad against Cai, you have to go against me first." Officer Chad stated making Red chuckle.

"Fine. Then I'll kill you first... Devius Wayne Chad..." Red aimed the gun towards Devius and was ready to pull the trigger.

"NO!" Cameron screamed.

A loud sound of the gunshot filled the place. Cameron's heart stopped beating as he looked at his partner's shocked face. Harry's eyes slowly closed but he also heard the sound of the gunshot. Everyone's time felt like it stopped. Everything became silent of the loud gunshot. Then, Red slowly looked down at his body.

"J-Jin Su..." He mumbled, eyes filled with sadness and confusion. Then he looked back at Ju Jin Su. "I-I thought you're on my side b-but in the end, I was w-wrong again." Red mumbled, clutching his gunshot wound as his knees fell on the floor.

Officer Chad and Detective Lee both looked very confused and in shock. Everything happened in a glimpse of an eye. It made them hard to easily digest. After a while, Ju Jin Su lowered the gun he is holding on the table next to him. This time, he knew the time was almost over. He knew the end of the chapter was approaching and no matter what happened, he would do everything and he would not leave Red alone. He will accompany him wherever he goes, forever.
