《Call Of Death》Chapter 79 : Lee Yuhyeol

Detective Cameron Lee felt like everything he heard is just a joke from Red. He tried to look around again in search of the culprit's whereabouts but he just couldn't see a single thing. He knows Red was nearby but no matter how hard he tries, he couldn't locate his exact position.
"Say that again. What's your brother's name?" Detective Lee repeated his question before.
Red smirked and played with the knife in his hand. "Didn't you hear it already, Detective? I already said his name. Nae hyung... Geuui ileum-eun Lee Han Se. Lee. Han. Se. Why don't you get it?" He chuckled.
(Translation : My brother... His name is Lee Han Se. Lee. Han. Se.)
"Stop playing! Do you think this is a game, huh? I don't have a brother!" Detective Lee aimed his gun everywhere.
"What? You really don't believe me?"
"Stop playing, Red! I don't have a brother!" Cameron shouted.
Red's chuckles were heard everywhere. "I'm not playing, Detective. You said you wanted to know who I am, didn't you? Well, then listen to me and I'll tell you every detail of the story." In the dark, Red's eyes started to get filled with anger as he pierced his eyes on the detective.
On the other hand, Ju Jin Su turned to looked at Officer Chad's confused and worried eyes. He slowly walked towards his direction and gave him a bitter smile. He took a deep breath before gently removing the cloth covering the officer's mouth.
"Why?" Devius asked in confusion.
Ju Jin Su sighed. "Just listen, Officer."
"What?"
"Just listen, please don't say anything and just listen to everything, Officer Chad. After that, I'll release you and then you can arrest us." He said.
Devius didn't understand him. "You're going to betray Red?" He questioned.
Ju Jin Su shook his head. "No, I'm protecting him."
Officer Devius Chad looked at him with confusion and curiosity. He wanted to say something but he chose to keep his mouth shut just like what Ju Jin Su told him and listened to whatever is going to happen outside. Everything went silent for a while and only Red's breathing on the speaker surrounding the place can be heard.

Moments later, Red's voice echoed all over the place again. "Do you remember the little boy you used to play with when you were just a kid? Do you remember that little boy who promised to accompany you all his life? Do you remember that kid who said that he'll protect you no matter what? Do you remember the kid who chose to save you than to save his own life?" Red started as he slowly walked out of the room where he has been hiding.
"What do you mean? Why are you... bringing that up? What do you know about my past!?" Detective Lee swallowed hard as he yell.
Red grinned. "What? Do you not want to answer it? Tell me, Detective Lee, do you remember him?" He asked again.
Detective Lee tightly gripped on his gun as he answered. "No, I don't remember anything about him."
"Really? Lies!" Red shouted, his voice echoed on the whole building.
"No! Stop playing with me!"
"Stop lying, detective! I know you do! Do you not remember him or you just don't want to remember him because you felt guilty, huh?" The anger on Red's voice became more visible this time.
Detective Lee was unable to speak because he did not know what or how to answer Red's questions. What is really the truth? Did he really not remember that boy or did he intentionally forget about him because he did not want to remember what happened to the kid? He remembers the memories from that day but no matter how hard he tries he couldn't see the kid's face. All he knew was that he heard the name Lee Jin Hong in all those.
His realistic dreams. The memories that were just coming back to him now. His detailed dreams about the basement and the fire that broke out that day. Every calls of his name that he heard from that boy. The name Crimson. The name Lee Jin Hong. What really is the truth? Did he really not remember him or did he intentionally forget everything about him?

"Fuck it! Cameron, focus!" He told himself.
Red is well aware of the confusion that prevails over Detective Lee from that very moment. An insane grin was drawn on his lips but his eyes were also blazing with anger. He slowly walked towards the light switch that he had long prepared without anyone else knowing. He reached for it slowly, ready to turn on the light anytime while one of his hands just played with the knife he was holding.
One...
Two...
Three...
He was counting inside his head.
"If you don’t really remember him, let me introduce and remind you of him again. I might as well... introduce myself properly." Red uttered as he turned on the lights on the hallway.
When the lights were turned on consecutively and the surroundings lit up, Detective Lee immediately looked around and there, he saw Red standing at the end of the hallway, opposite to where he was standing. He was wearing a black cloth that used to cover his face so that the detective could not recognize him.
Detective Lee aimed his gun to him. "You...what do you want by doing everything? Why are you—"
"Shush! Don't say anything. Let me speak first, Detective. Let me tell the story first. Save your strength because I'm about to say the things that will make you feel damn weak." Red warned him.
The microphone was still attached to Red's clothes so everything that he is saying were also heard by Devius and Ju Jin Su. On the room where they were in, Officer Chad could see the hallway being lit on. But despite all that, he remained silent and just listening to whatever is going to happen next.
Back on the hallway, Cameron and Red are facing each other though their distance were quite far. Detective Lee was holding the gun tightly while aiming it at the other's direction. Red was just standing there, with nothing in his hands but a gun on his back.
"I'll introduce myself properly to you, detective. Just watch and listen to what I have to say."
Red slowly reached his hand to his face and gently removed the cloth covering his face and then he slowly revealed his identity. When the cloth was fully removed and his whole face was finally revealed, Detective Lee's eyes widen as he took a step back. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. He furrowed his brows and shook his head but the man in front of him isn't an illusion.
"You..." He felt like he couldn't mutter a single word because a lump form in his throat. "...Gong Seuk Tae..." He called his name.
Red smiled evilly. "Gong Seuk Tae? Uh-uh. I'm sorry to disappoint you but that's not my real name, Detective Lee." Red took out his gun and played with it on his hand as he smirked.
Detective Lee couldn't believe of what he was seeing. "Who the hell are you? Are you Red? Or Gong Seuk Tae?"
"I already told you my name earlier. How many times do you have to ask me that question." His smirked became more insane but his eyes were full of anger. "Fine, I'll tell you again. I am the real Lee Yuhyeol brother of Lee Han Se."
"Brother of Lee Han Se? What the hell do you mean!? I don't have a brother!" Detective Lee felt like his head is starting to ache.
The fact that, Gong Seuk Tae — the kid he saved and treated like a friend was standing in front of him as Red was already so confusing. Everything that was happening right at that moment was hard for him to understand. There were questions and answers that has been said but he felt like there were only tons of questions being added to his mind.
