Ju Jin Su immediately went inside the room when he heard everything that Red had said.

"What are you doing, Hyeol?" He asked, furrowing his brows.

"What else? I'm going to take the most important person from that detective's life." Red answered with a smirk.

Ju Jin Su shook his head in disapproval. "You can't."

"Why not?"

"It's very dangerous, Hyeol. Meeting with Devius Chad is a bad idea. He's a good fighter." Ju Jin Su unexplained.

"I know how to fight too, Jin Su. You thought me, remember?" He raised one of his brows.

"Yeah, I did. That's why I know you are no match to him. It's like giving yourself in." His voices sounded really worried.

Red stood up and placed his hands on Jin Su's shoulder. "If I think I can't do it, I won't do it. Just trust me, I won't give in myself." He reassured Jin Su.

Even if Ju Jin Su doesn't approve, he knew Red would still do it. He wanted to help Red get the justice he deserves but the guy's way is too dangerous. He doesn't want Red to become the person who him that way. All his life, he just wanted to make Red be a better person. To help him get back to his feet. He wanted to see him living a better life than this. But who should he blame? He's the one who agreed to help Red with his revenge.

"Just be careful, Hyeol. I'll be watching from a distant and I won't hesitate to act if I find the situation threatening." Ju Jin Su said his condition.

Red nodded his head. "Okay, do as you please." He smiled.

The pair went out of the place together but Red has to take another vehicle because he doesn't want to be seen with Ju Jin Su. He wanted to protect his only family as much as Ju Jin Su wanted to protect him.

The next morning, Cameron woke up, still feeling dizzy and his head was still hurting a bit. At first he was confused but then he remembered he passed out last night. He sighed and massaged his temple. He then turned to his side.

"Where is he?"

Detective Lee was expecting to see Devius still lying beside him or perhaps making breakfast in the kitchen but he didn't see the officer beside him nor he saw him in the kitchen.

He thought, 'Perhaps he went outside to buy something.' Cameron just shrugged it out and got up from bed. When he glanced at the clock, it was still early in the morning. There was still a bit of drizzle outside.

Cameron brushed his hair with his fingers, taking a deep breath. He then took the towel and walked inside the bathroom. He felt some kind of relief after the cold water touched his bare skin. He pushed his hands on the bathroom wall, letting the water to pour all over his body.

All the memories he recall last night, even though he saw it blurry he could remember them clearly. The place, the basement, the fire and the kids. All of those, he remembers them. But there's only one thing he couldn't figure out. It was the identity of those two kids he saw. He knew he never had anyone in that basement aside from himself.

"Who are you? What really happened to me before? What is that fire? Who were those kids?" He consecutively asked himself, not getting any answer.

He slowly reach his hand to his back, touching the massive scar he had forgotten long ago. He thought he remembered everytime about his miserable childhood yet it turned out there are some things he had forgotten or maybe he chose to forget. But now, he wanted to remember it all in order to get the answer to every question he has in mind.

"Why did I forget those memories? And why are they just coming now that I was reminded of my scar? That fire, what really happened that night? What happened, Lee Han Se?" He felt his head hurting again as he tries hard to remember everything.

Yet no matter how hard he tries, he couldn't get a clear view of the two boys' face especially the one who held his hands. He could only remember his familiar voice. He shook his head and finished taking a bath. After that, he dried himself and went out but still no Devius was around.

"Where did he go? What's taking him too long?" Detective Lee furrowed his brows as he asked.

Cameron walked over to his phone and dialed his partner's number.

(Two hours before...)

Devius took a deep breath, hesitating. He then glanced at Cameron who was sleeping in his bed. He looked stressed just by looking at how crumpled his face was even though he's asleep. Whatever happened earlier, he wanted to do something for his partner. He wanted to help him but Devius knew he would not be able to do it if he doesn't know anything about the problem. He knew Red isn't trustworthy.

Detective Lee won't probably approve of him meeting with the guy either but he has no choice. If there's a way to help the man he love to get out of his nightmarish past, he would do everything, even if it cost him his life.

'Yes, maybe that's what love really is.'

"Cai, I promise I'll be back. For now, have a good sleep and forget everything that hurts you." He place a kissed on his forehead before leaving the room. He walked down the apartment and dialed Red's number in his phone. "I'm going to meet you, give me the address."

"Really? Did your lover permitted you to go out this late and meet a dangerous man like me?" Red's voice was full of mystery.

"He doesn't need to know. It's just you and me. You said you know everything about Caiseus' past, tell me everything you know." Officer Chad said.

"Before that, I wanted to ask you a question."

"What?"

"Do you know that detective's real name?" Red queried.

Devius furrowed his brows. "It's Cameron Caiseus Lee, why?"

"Tsk. Tsk. Not that, his real name not his English name." Red cleared his question.

"He once told me that it's Lee Han Se." Devius answered.

An evil smirk curved on Red's lips. "That name, I really hate people saying that name but because it's you, I'll give you and exemption, officer. I'll text you the address, I'll be waiting." Then he ended the call.

Devius looked at the screen of his phone after the address was sent. He was familiar with the said place because he and Cameron once went there for the investigation. He started walking again and took the first taxi he saw.

"Mister, let's go to this address." He showed the driver his phone with the address.

The elder man looked at him in confusion. "You're going to that this late? Kid, aren't you scared at all?" He asked.

"What do you mean, sir?" Devius furrowed his brows.

"You don't really know what happened to that place?" The driver looked stunned.

Officer Chad shook his head. "No."

The taxi driver sighed and parked his car on the side for the road. "That place used to be a well-known bar in the City. Teenagers, elders, business owners, rich and poor-people partied at that place before. Everything was fine until an event happened." The man started telling the story.

"What happened?"

"There was a really big accident there before. It was a massive fire that burnt out the whole place and turned most of it into ashes but only one place of the bar remained to this day-the basement."

"The basement?"

"Yes. Everything was torn down except of the basement. The walls are still mysteriously intact. They said, there was a ghost of a kid there. His spirit was stocked in that place after he burned to death." The elder man narrated.

"H-He burnt to death?" Devius swallowed.

The man nodded. "It was all over the news before but you know what's so scary?"

"What?"

"That kid's body was never found, only his belongings."

"Then how did they knew that he died if he didn't find his body?" Officer Chad asked, both confused and curious.

The elder sighed and went silent for a while as if he was recalling everything that happened before. "Because they found the kid's belongings and the whole basement was a close room with only a tiny window and a door that was always shut."

"What?"

"The bar's owner admitted that he abducted the kid because he wanted to get a great amount of money from his family but we later on found out that sadly, the kid's parents died from a car accident in Korea before they could even fly to America."

"How did you knew all this?" Devius asked, he couldn't believe everything he is hearing.

The taxi driver smiled bitterly. "Because I was one of those detective's who used to investigate the case, kid. That was my one and only failure in my lifetime as a detective." He responded.

"You used to be a detective? Where did you work? How come you're a taxi driver now?" Officer Chad asked.

The man sighed. "I felt so guilty for not being able to save that boy, so I retired and left everything. I was so devastated and decided to adopt a kid to fulfill the gap inside my heart, hoping that it will heal my conscience but it didn't. Everytime I saw my adopted child, I remembered the boy's baby pictures that was sent to us, so I left that boy too." The drop of tear fell out of the man's eyes and Devius could feel the sadness in his voice.

He doesn't know if he still wanted to go to that place after everything he heard. He doesn't know that there used to be a very famous bar in that place because there's nothing he saw there but massive trees because it's a forest. Officer Chad took a deep breath and leaned his back on the seat.

"Let's just go to another place then. Can you drive me to the nearest bar?" Devius asked.

The driver hesitated at first but eventually agreed. He thought it was better than driving Devius to such a dangerous place. Since it's still quite dark, bars aren't open yet so the driver took him to his usual place. It was a bit far from the apartment but the long drive is worth it.

"What is this place?" Devius asked in amazement.

"It's a bar but also a place where you can be comfortable at." The taxi driver smiled.

"That's cool!" Officer Chad excited said.

The taxi driver smiled and started walking towards the door, Devius followed. When they got inside, he was even more amazed. It a simple Mexican style bar but also with a touch of Asian culture. They ordered some beer and sat down on a table near the door.

"Anyway, I don't know your name yet, Mister." Devius scratched the back of his.

The taxi driver smiled. "You can just call me Harry." He held his hand out to shake.

"Devius, Devius Chad." Officer Chad shook his hand.

It's still so early in the morning and Devius knew he still had to go to his job so he didn't drink much. Even if he didn't meet Red that day, he doesn't regret it. Being with Harry and listening to his stories made him forget his problems for a while. After finishing half of the beer, he decided to leave and go back to the headquarters.
