~Tristan's POV~
"Tristan! Tristan! It's time to wake up!" I heard Audrey's voice at first then it slowly faded away and turned to Raine's cute little voice.
I cracked my right eye to see Raine jumping on my bed, using it like a trampoline. "Tristan! Tristan! Tristan!" She repeated over and over and over again. Well she is the second person who can make my day and I treat her as my own younger sister.
I sat right up and caught her tiny torso under my grasp. "Grrrrrr! The bear's gonna eat you!" I said stupidly. She giggled out loud and I turned my lips up. Hearing her laugh reminds me of Audrey and I'm telling myself that she's happy right now and not crying.
"Stoooooooooop Tristaaaaaaan!" She shrieked and I immediately dropped her to cover my ears.
"Gosh Raine!" She sat and settled beside me as she smiled innocently. She's too cute.
"Sorry," Raine stuck out her bottom lip and I chuckled a bit. "Mom said it's time to eat," She added.
I stood up from my bed and folded my blanket and my little cousin gasped out loud.
"Tristan is naked!" She covered her mouth with her hands and squeezed her eyes shut. Come on, I'm not 'naked', I just don't have a shirt on. Kids, so immature.
"I'm not naked Raine," I smirked, scooping her out of my bed and walking down stairs to see Ajax and Aunt Stella.
"Oh Tristan! My favorite nephew," She gave me a hug and Raine hugged her mom back for me because I was holding onto her. "Raine, go get pancakes from daddy!" Aunt Stella said and Raine jumped off my grasp and throttle towards Uncle Jared.
"Hi aunty," I smiled but it didn't reach my eyes. Ajax looked at me to make sure I'm okay and I just nodded.
"So tell me, how's school? How's the girls? Oh and your dad mentioned that you're modeling now," She was fixing her purse and I can see she has to go some where so I better make this quick.

"School's alright, Girl is bad, and yeah I modeled for a couple of brands, I just came back from Paris," I don't really want to remember Paris because it makes me remember Audrey a lot and it just kills me.
"Great! What's with the girls though?" She asked closely.
"Mom it's not 'girls' it's 'girl'" Ajax corrected her and she looked at me for approval, I nodded and her brows raised up.
"Tristan settling for a girl? Wow, that's awesome kiddo, what's wrong with her? Playing hard to get?" I don't really wanna talk about Audrey.
"Mom! Okay, he's desperately in love with this girl but this girl lives in California and he really loves her like mad but they were seperated," Im thankful that Ajax didn't mention that this 'girl' is my step sister before the divorce.
"Okay... Well thank you Tristan for sharing," Aunt stella glared at her son and I smiled. "I think you should get her kiddo, if you love her that bad, go back to California," She patted my shoulder. I wish it's that easy.
"Oh hi Tristan," Uncle Jared greeted out, smiling at me genuinely. "Stella let's go, were gonna be late," He called, holding out Raine who was stuffing her mouth with pancakes.
"Okay kids, we'll be gone for the whole day, grandma and grandpa will be at the golf course, and Steven might be staying here, I don't know, ask your dad on what his plans are alright Tristan?" I nodded as Aunt Stella tell us the agenda. "Here's $100 for your food, don't give Raine too much chocolate, Ajax don't drive your dad's Ferarri and don't let Georgina throw a party! Am I clear?" Wow that's a lot of instructions. Both me an Ajax nodded and so did Raine.
"Alright, bye mom," Ajax lead her out towards the door and closed it after her. "Okay you wanna drive out the Ferarri Tristan?!" He boomed out.
"I thought she said you can't?" I'm not in the mood for anything right now.
"She said I can't drive it but she never said you can't," He smirked at me and answered an incoming call. I grabbed a pancake and poured syrup and butter all over it. I need to call Audrey, I can't take this anymore.
"Tristan do you wanna play dolls with me?" Raine asked sweetly and she flashed me those big round puppy blue eyes. Who can say no to that?

"No Raine! Tristan will go driving out with me," Ajax frowned at his sister.
"You guy's are such losers," Georgina walked in the kitchen looking like a zombie bride. Kidding! My cousin actually looks bomb and if we weren't related or I'm not deeply/madly/crazy in love with Audrey, I will ask her out.
I cut out a piece of pancake and shoved it in my mouth. "Please Tristan!" Raine begged and she's too sweet to reject.
"No! Raine! Go play with Georgi!" I chuckled a bit because Ajax is arguing with his little sister and it looks pathetic.
"I don't want Georgi! She's always on her phone!" Raine retorted back. This girl can dish out people and she's only six!
"I am not!" Georgina jumped in the arguement. They spoke all at once and I ate in silence. Raine shrilled out and there was like speakers. Damn fucking loud!
"Raine!!!" Georgina screamed. I sighed deeply and imagined what I would've been doing if I was with Audrey right now instead of my obnoxious cousins. I love them, don't worry.
I finished my breakfast and hopped of my stool, snatching out my phone from my cargo shorts. I walked out the backyard and dialed Audrey's number, it's been a day I haven't heard her and I miss her so fucking much already.
I pressed call and waited for her to pick up...
~Audrey's POV~
Every time I breath, it feels like someone is squeezing out my heart. I lied on my bed, staring up the ceiling.
Lucy sent me food trays to my room because I haven't left my room since yesterday. I want him to be here.
My phone buzzed on the night table and I ignored it. It's probably Kris, asking me if I'm okay. The buzzing stopped and the voicemail beeped.
"Hey Audrey, I'm calling to check on you ..." I snatched my phone immediately when I heard Tristan's voice through the speakers. "...I really miss you," Then the voice machine ended it.
I dialed his phone number in a hurry and pressed it on my ear. First ring... Second right.... Third ring.
"Hello?" My heart was stabbed with pain as I hear his husky voice. I pressed my lips together as tears are filling up my eyes. "Audrey?" I sniffed and swallowed. "Audrey, baby don't cry," His tone was sad and I just sobbed.
"Hey Tristan," I quivered and cried. I stopped crying last night and here I am again, my eyes will dry up and fall off for sure.
"Baby, don't cry," He whispered and I heard him sniffed up too.
"It hurts Tristan, it really fucking hurts," I bawled. It's been two days and the pain hasn't reduced.
"I know," He said quietly. I wiped off every tear because I know it saddens him when I cry.
"How's Texas?" I forced out to be cheery. I can't do it!
"It's good but I want you to be with me," Dammit! I hate crying! I sobbed again and now I can't help it. "I really miss you Audrey," I pressed my eyes on my knees to stop the tears but that didn't help.
"Tristan..." Gah! Shit Audrey! Stop! You're making everything worst!
"Ugh this fucking sucks! I want to hold you so bad and comfort you right now! Don't cry babe, it's gonna be worth the wait," He said then some girl talked in the background and my head started making conclusions. "Alright Georgina, I'll be in, just wait a second," Tristan added and I frowned. I'm not being jealous but he's in Texas doing who knows what. But I trust him so I don't need to worry...
"I think you have to go." I said pointedly.
"What? No! Audrey no!" He shouted.
"Your girl is calling you out," I said bitterly and I heard him scoffed.
"Georgina is not my girl, she's my cousin," Awkward. Don't make assumptions until you know the whole story.
"Oh." Now I feel stupid and I sound like a jealous bitch.
"Don't worry Audrey, no one ever can replace you, I love you," I started to cry again. "You never left my mind once, this distance shit is killing me," It is killing me too. Now there's a little girl's voice in the background calling out. "Hold on Raine," He sniffed.
"Well you have to go," I wiped my nose.
"Yeah, I love you baby," He said quietly and I think he's really crying. Wow, never seen him cry before. That's when I know he's being sincere and faithful.
"I l-l-love you," I hiccuped and hung up before I wailed out loud for him to not hear...

Good Guy Necromancer
Necromancers are murderous, repulsive, utterly ungodly creatures. And then there's Jerry. Jerry is a novice necromancer who treats his undead warmly, seeks to befriend people instead of harvest their bodies, and doesn't mind cracking a skull or two when needed. He genuinely is a good guy—too bad nobody believes him. Jerry tries to settle down, wanting nothing but a peaceful life for him and his undead—and, when that doesn't quite work out, he sets out to adventure. He will make friends, each unique in their own way, and together, they will travel through a variety of striking environments; from a tiny village, to the land of the dead, to a jolly archipelago, to a kingdom on a beanstalk. To save a world that shuns him, Jerry must stand against a large organization of arrogant, mighty wizards. He strives to become stronger while maintaining his kindness, only to realize that, maybe, gentle hearts make the greatest necromancers. This is the story of a delightful man in a harsh world—full of warmth, action, and wise-cracking bone puns. Chapters are usually 2-3k words, and updates are 3/week: Mon, Wed, Fri. If you're looking for another fun, action-packed adventure, check out Cultivator vs. System by yours truly, available on Kindle, KU, and Audible. But read Good Guy Necromancer first.

8 161To The Far Shore
Post apocalyptic Oregon Trail. The apocalypse has come and gone. And come back again, and left again... nobody really knows how often. Nothing lasts forever, but nothing is ever completely gone. Which is a shame for young Mazelton, as his family has been around a terribly long time, and made an astonishing amount of enemies. Millenia's worth. So he has to run- from mobs, cannibals, soldiers, sailors, cholera, cattle, thieving sales-monks, starvation, mechanical horrors, vengeful spirits, negotiating your own marriage, and poison of every sort. Fortunately, his not terribly nice family has trained him well in the arts of core polishing. Or as you and I might know it- turning radioactive pellets into useful tools. And weapons. Updates Monday-Wednesday-Friday. Usual defensive tags applied. The goal isn't exactly family friendly, but you have probably seen worse on network TV. After the watershed. Not full blown HBO, let's say. This is the first novel I am sharing publicly, so feedback is very much appreciated and encouraged. Act 1 of the novel is completed, but do please let me know what works, what doesn't, and what you would like to see more of. Thank you, and Enjoy!
