《Trollex x daughter reader》You try your uncle's DJ booth
Advertisement
"Hey uncle Synthe, can I please play on your DJ booth?" You asked, giving him the puppy eyes. You had spotted the DJ booth sitting in his backyard from the window, and of course, the urge to play with it came over you.
Synth tried not to frown as you asked that question, it's not that he didn't trust you, but it was mainly because he was worried that something bad might happen, like you could press the wrong button and it might go out of control and you'd get hurt or...or worse.
Synth sighed in worry, he'd never forgive himself if you got hurt in his care, and he knew that Trollex wouldn't ever forgive him either...
"Sorry Glow stick, maybe another time ok?" He said gently, hoping to not upset you.
You frowned and looked down sadly, feeling a little disappointed "ok..." you sighed.
Synth felt his heart ache at your sad expression, he hated seeing you sad, but this was for your own safety after all.
"It's ok my Glow stick, maybe we can do something else together?" He suggested, hoping to cheer you up.
Luckily this worked, and your sad expression turned into a happy one.
"Can we go to the rave?" You asked excitedly as he picked you up.
"Of course we can Glow stick" Synth replied, giving you a kiss on your cheek before heading out with you in his arms.
You looked back at the DJ booth one last time, little did Synth know what you were planning...
🎧🐬🐬🎧
It was currently midnight; you quietly snuck out of your room and swam to your uncle's bedroom door. You slowly opened it and peaked in; the nightlight in his room lit up the place and you saw him sleeping with his eyes open, making you shiver a little at how unsettling the sight was.
You carefully closed it and swam away, you entered the living room and swam to the window, ready to open it.
You suddenly heard flapping and squawking; looking down in panic, you saw a familiar water bird staring up at you; he had a stern look on his face, and you were sure that if his wings were longer they would have been crossed.
"H-hey buddy..." you squeaked nervously, giving him the best innocent smile you could muster. "I...I just c-came here to g-go out f-for a s-swim..." you whispered, making sure to keep the volume of your voice down so you wouldn't wake up your uncle, all the while sweating and nervously playing with your fingers, a habit that you did when you were nervous.
The water bird just squawked and shook his head, glaring at you. Clearly seeing right through your lie.
Your fin ears lowered in disappointment; you couldn't even fool a bird...
You then felt him tug on your tail gently with his beak, as if telling you to go back to bed.
You shook your head and picked him up "sorry buddy, but uncle Synth won't let me play on it, but I want to, it'll be fine" you reassured him gently; hoping that would quiet him down.
The water bird seemed to be more mad and began squawking loudly and flapping his wings.
Your froze in terror when you realised what his plan was.
Before he could wake your uncle; you quickly

swam to his bowl and placed him in.
He was still squawking but luckily it was muffled and hard to hear, you sighed in relief; there was no way he'd wake your uncle up now.
Giving him an apologetic glance, you swam to the open window and swam out into the garden where the DJ booth was.
You smiled and swam to it, you saw that it sort of looked like a snail's shell, it was orange and the buttons were purple.
You were a little confused by the design but soon paid no mind to it and began looking at the various buttons you could press; gently running your fingers over them.
You felt the DJ booth move a little at your touch before settling down again.
You were a little hesitant now, you didn't want a repeat of what happened with your dad's DJ booth; but maybe it wouldn't hurt if you just pressed one button.
As you pressed the left top button, the DJ snail booth suddenly shook and to your shock, the DJ snail booth had legs, really really long legs.
It shot up and you instinctively clung onto the shell tightly, feeling panic and fear rush through you, it then got worse as the DJ snail booth began walking away from your uncle's pod.
Panicking, you quickly slammed the off button, praying that it would stop.
Your prayers were answered and it stopped just before it could go further away. However it didn't return to it's original form, it just stood there on its freakishly tall legs.
Not that you were complaining though.
You panted heavily, recovering from the heart attack and collapsing onto the shell. Trying to calm down.
"Y/n! What have you done!?" You heard your uncle yell from down below.
You froze in fear; the only time he called you by your name was when he was very angry with you; and that was rare...
Before you could look down he suddenly zoomed up and appeared right in front of you, glaring down at you angrily.
You sunk down and whimpered softly; you hated making your uncle mad...
"I-I'm sorry uncle Synthe, I j-just wanted to t-try I-it out..." you whimpered, not daring to look up at his angry expression.
Synth crossed his arms and frowned angrily "even though I told you that you couldn't touch it?...." he responded coldly, feeling more angry at the fact that you deliberately disobeyed him, however though, he did feel bad when he saw tears in your eyes.
"I'm sorry uncle Synthie, I just couldn't wait to play it..." you muttered, your fin ears drooping as you looked at the ground sadly and feeling tears falling.
Synth looked at your sad expression and felt his anger evaporating, he now felt his heart ache and frowned sadly "aw it's ok my Glow stick, don't cry" he cooed gently, picking you up and hugging you close "shhh it's ok"
You began to calm down a little and hugged his chest; listening to his heartbeat.
Synth hummed in thought, wondering on how to punish you; since nothing too bad happened, he decided it would be best for you not to have dessert while here and you'd have a time out tomorrow.
"Glow stick, you understand that what you did was very dangerous right?..." he asked.
You looked up at him and nodded, sniffling a little.

"Never do it again, you could have gotten really hurt or you could have hurt someone, you could have also damaged pods and other things" he explained, his voice was soft but slightly stern "that DJ booth isn't like the ones you've seen before, as you could tell it's quite different, so be very careful and don't touch it unless me or your father is around, ok?"
You sniffled, rubbing away the tears "o-ok, I'm so sorry uncle Synthie, it just looked really fun, and I thought that since it was different, it wasn't dangerous..." you explained quietly.
Synth looked down at you and smiled softly "I understand Glow stick" once he saw you had fallen asleep; he returned his DJ snail booth to his garden and went back inside; placing you in your bed and tucking you in.
He smiled as you snuggled down into the soft covers, this sort of reminded him of when you were a baby...
The techno Prince arrived back late from a Rave to celebrate your hatching, as well as breaking out the gloop du jour extraordinaire for the very special occasion.
There was only one problem though, Synth was exhausted. He had to use his water powers continuously to bring out extra gloop du jour extraordinaire's; after all it was a very, VERY special occasion. But it was pretty tiring.
But he wasn't tired enough to do something he had wanted to do for quite some time though.
Synth quietly made his way inside your nursery, luckily it wasn't pitch black, the jellyfish nightlights illuminated the room with a soft glow, so luckily Synth could handle it.
He swam to your crib, you weren't crying or anything, he just wanted to see you again, he couldn't get enough of you.
Trollex was stuck to you like glue, sure Synth had seen you up close but he only had held you twice, once since you hatched, and the second time was when he only had to watch over you for ten minutes while the techno king took care of a small issue. Trollex simply refused to put you down. But Synth understood why, you were only five days old and he was still grieving M/n and you were his little light in this dark sad time. In fact you were everyone's light.
That's why he decided to give you the nickname/ravename Glow stick.
The only problem Synth had was that he rarely got to actually spend time with you, so he decided to at least hold you while it was late at night and Trollex was asleep.
As Synth reached the crib and looked down into it, he saw you fast asleep, suckling on your thumb.
"Awwww..." Synth whispered as quietly as he could, smiling a bright warm smile. He felt that his heart was going to explode! He just could not handle your cuteness!
He found himself unable to resist stroking you at least once, so the techno Prince slowly lowered his hand to your cheek and stroked it with his thumb as gently as he could as to not wake you up.
He then froze when you shifted in your sleep and you began cooing and whining softly.
You slowly blinked your eyes open, grabbing onto the hand that was gently stroking your cheek, you felt a little irritated that you had been woken from your peaceful sleep.
Staring up at the larger techno troll, your little face scrunched up, ready to cry, the darkness of the room made him unrecognisable to you.
But just then, you recognised his bright purple/pinkish eyes that were currently staring down at you in worry. You instantly relaxed and cooed happily, reaching for him. You were already quite fond of your uncle.
Once Synth saw you calm down and reach for him looking happy, he himself relaxed and grinned down at you, gladly picking you up.
"Hey my little Glow stick~" he cooed lovingly "I'm happy to see you too!"
You reached your little hands to his face and squeezed his nose and cheeks, giggling when his face scrunched up in discomfort as you squeezed them.
Synth gently removed your hands from his face and shot you a playful glare, tickling your tiny fin ear gently "don't grab your uncle's face Glow stick~" he scolded in a gentle and playful tone.
You giggled and grabbed his hand, curiously playing with his fingers making Synth chuckle warmly. You are so cute.
He noticed you yawned softly and your bright green eyes were beginning to close, you were slowly falling asleep.
Synth smiled and returned to your crib, gently placing you down; before he left however he just remembered something.
"Oh Glow stick, wait a second, I almost forgot" he was mindful not to shout and only whispered it softly as to not startle you. Reaching in his pink toned hair; he pulled out a thin pink baby blanket. It was decorated with multicolored star and seahorse patterns, each one having been sewn onto it carefully. a little gift he had made you a few days ago. Originally Synth planned to give it to you on your first birthday but he just couldn't wait any longer, besides, he already had a bunch of gifts already prepared for you on your first birthday.
Synth gently covered you with the handmade blanket, smiling when you clutched it in your sleep.
"I hope you like it Glow stick, I worked so hard on it so it could be perfect for you" he whispered, his voice filled with love and affection.
He felt his heart swell when a soft smile crept on your face, your little arms hugging the top corner of the blanket securely. He'd take that as a yes.
Giving you a kiss on your forehead, he exited the nursery just as quietly as he entered and made his way to his bedroom.
He hoped Trollex wouldn't mind that he gave you your birthday gift early.
Synth felt tears of nostalgia prick his eyes, he couldn't believe that was so long ago, it felt like yesterday...
Looking down at you lovingly, he whispered in a gentle soft tone " sweet dreams my Glow stick, I love you" he gave you a kiss on your cheek before leaving; you smiled softly in your sleep at that, hugging your seahorse plushie tightly; and unbeknownst to him, you had been awake the whole time, you reached into your hair and pulled out the very same blanket he had gifted you that day, hugging it close before drifting off into a deep and peaceful sleep.
The blanket, along with the seahorse plushie your late mother had made you, was one of your most cherished items ever.
