It was a beautiful sunny evening in Trollstopia!

And today, Trollex had asked your grandparents (on your mother's side) to take care of you because there is no one else who could be free at the moment due to the wedding preparations making everyone busy.

Your granparents of course agreed to taking care of you.

You and Trollex had just arrived in Trollstopia, there, your grandparents were already waiting for you.

Trollex knelt down to you, giving you a loving smile.

"Alright my angel, I'll be back to pick you up soon" he said, giving you a kiss on the cheek before leaving.

You turned and smiled as your grandparents approached you, happy smiles on their faces as they pulled you into a hug.

You smiled and instantly hugged back,

"Hello my little darling!" Your grandmother cooed.

"Hey sweetie" your grandfather said, smiling down at you.

You smiled up at them "hi grandma, hi grandpa"

They smiled and set you down gently.

Your grandfather looked down at you with a smile and asked " hey Y/n, is it alright if you could give us a tour of Trollstopia? We have been planning to see it ever since we heard a lot about it"

You smiled happily and nodded "sure, follow me"

And so, you gave your grandparents a tour of Trollstopia itself. Luckily It was Saturday so you had the whole day.

the three of you walked around, looking around the city. Your grandparents looked amazed by seeing a lot of different trolls from each tribe and listening to the music outside of EDM. It was kinda refreshing.

As you all walked, you decided to stop by an ice cream truck to eat ice cream.

Suddenly, you heard a familiar cheerful voice say "hey little cupcake!" You turned to see Poppy walking over to you with a smile. Behind her you saw her father, former king Peppy.

She then noticed your grandparents and smiled at them "oh my gosh! Hi! You must be Y/n's grandparents right? Sweet little Y/n here told me so much about you guys!" She said, her eyes sparkling with joy "I'm Queen Poppy of the pop trolls! But you probably already knew that, and this is my dad, Peppy" She said, as her father walked up to the two older techno trolls.

Your grandparents smiled at the two pop trolls and shook hands "I'm Pearl and this is Hector, it's great to meet you both"Your grandmother said with a smile while Hector nodded.

After that, they gladly started talking about boring adult stuff and other things about the city. They were so into the conversation that they did not notice you were beginning to get bored, very, VERY bored.

You sighed, sitting down on the soft green grass, watching as different tribe trolls went about their day doing their business.

....

You were going to die from boredom!

However, you then noticed some techno trolls older than you along with some pop trolls with leafs in their hands.

this meant only one thing...

They are going to do whirlpool surfing!

Your boredom suddenly disappeared as you thought of the fun game.

As you watched them, you grinned mischievously, deciding to try it again.

let's see how it goes, what's the worst that could happen?

You got up and turned back to the adults who still kept talking. You then flew up in the air a little and sneaked away from them, following the group of trolls from earlier.

when you arrived at the river, Iris Suddenly came out of your hair looking at you curiously.

"You know you are not allowed to do this. right?"

You rolled your eyes "yeah yeah I know, but what could possibly go wrong if I try it again once.....or twice. Remember what Cloud said? practice is important to mastering a skill." You said as you examined the river to find a safe spot where you can jump on.

"True, but isn't this the kind of thing which you should practice when you get older no? its not like an instrument you know..." Iris said as she looked at the fast river and the whirlpools here and there. Even if she could breath underwater, those whirlpools looked scary to her. And the river in general. She wasn't sure about this....

"Then stay here Iris, if you are such a chicken. Someone needs to keep watch anyway in case the adults come here" You said without looking at her.

When Iris tried to stay something back, You had already jumped onto the water and started surfing as you had seen your uncle do millions of times before.

Iris watched you in Awe but also bit worried, especially when you were so close to those whirlpools.

She was also kinda afraid you would get sucked in one. Even if she knew you can breath underwater, the water pressure and movement was pushing down stuff as she could see, it worried her more.

Meanwhile, you did some nice moves in the whirlpools, before landing on dry land gracefully beside Iris.

"Did you see that? I am getting better. I couldn't do that flip before!" You cried excitedly, full of adrenaline.

"Yeah right it was nice but can we go back now?" Iris asked with a forced smile. She was relieved that you were okay, but she had a bad feeling about something....

but her smile dropped when you looked back at her, rolling your eyes and shaking your head. "No silly, Im just getting warmed up"

And with that you jumped back into the water again.

After a while, everything went fine and even Iris was beginning to calm down a little, seeing that you were doing fine, at your third turn a chill went through her spine when You danced and skidded around and in the whirlpools again.

You on the other hand, was having so much fun and knowing you were getting better and better motivated you to do it even more.

You could maybe even try that move you saw your uncle do once, it was the one where he backflipped high into the air, it was kinda hard but if he could do that, maybe you could too right?

You tried to jump to prepare for the move, when suddenly a fauna popped out from the water in front of you so suddenly that you lost your balance, falling into the river, and unfortunately, into one of big dangerous whirlpools.

"Y/N!!" You heard Iris yell in panic as you fell in, You gasped and tried to scream but the vortex's strength did not let your voice out and began pulling you deeper into the bottom.

You were so lucky that you were a techno troll and could breath underwater, otherwise you would surely be dead. You kept panting quickly, desperately trying to swim out, but the river movement was rough and strong, it shocked you, making you forget how to take a breath for a few seconds.

Suddenly, the whirlpool pushed you up as soon as you no longer tried to escape but it pushed you in a rough way, and where the river was faster and wilder.

Panic struck you and You desperately tried to escape, but the river carried you farther and farther from Trollstopia, until it reached a narrow rocky area.

You smashed into rock after rock due to the strength of the current and the speed of it. Needless to say, you were terrified, hoping the nightmare would end and the river would reach an area that wasn't so rough and wild, at least then you could be able to get out of it.

You had no choice but to let the water carry you since you knew you couldn't escape it

was really strong for a five year old like you.

The river threw you into rock after rock which kinda lead bruises here and there.

But it wasn't the worst part.

The worst part was when you suddenly felt a horrible pain in your arm, but the pain was more intense in your entire tail.

You had no idea what caused it since your eyes were closed, you were to afraid to open them, and even if you did, you wouldn't be able to see anything anyway, due to the river mist and stuff.

Just when you were beginning to think that this hell would go on forever, you suddenly felt the river reach a wider spot, the rough current slowly calmed down and came to a stop, and thankfully the speed had decreased enough so you could open your eyes.

You swam to the surface and climbed onto a huge rock which was nearby the river side.

You collapsed on it with exhaustion, taking a deep breath and shaking from the shock of it all.

You stayed there until he adrenaline wore off and you suddenly felt pain from everywhere.

You gasped and tried to hug yourself, but your right arm was too painful to move, so you used your left arm to try and move yourself a little, but even that was a bad idea since even moving a little hurt. You then saw that your arm was red and slightly swollen.

You looked around. You saw nothing but trees everywhere in an unknown area. You then quickly realised that you were far away from the Trollstopia.

You groaned and tried to stand up but when you tried, a horrible lighting bolt like pain like slammed into your fins.

You immediately tumbled back and youShe screamed, tears welling up in your eyes.

Once you recovered a little, you looked down, and saw in horror that your fin was red and twisted, the same way as your right arm, but it looked worse.

Much, much worse.

You took a deep breath, bracing yourself, you flew up in the air, but each ovement was so painful.

You started crying, at that moment the horrible reality of the situation had fully hit you, and you regretted everything.

Why were you so dumb!?

You should have just listened to everyone when they told you not to do it!

Now it was impossible to actually move, you might never get home. And never see your family and friends again. Even Iris...

After you finally stopped crying and calmed down, you had a feeling of determination, you need to go and find the way home. even if you had no idea how you would achieve that.

But you at least had to try....

So you did.

You sighed and slowly went in the air and started flying little by little. Each movement was a great awful pain, and in the end, you couldn't stop your tears from falling down from your eyes, blurring your vision.

But you had to keep going...

You continued to push yourself and went on for 30 minutes, until you landed a tree and laid there. You couldn't take it anymore.

The pain was so strong and you now felt it everywhere, but it was worse on your tail.

You noticed that the sun was almost down, it then set and left you in the now dark lonely forest where predators were no doubt nearby.

You whimpered and started crying again, until you suddenly felt someone watching you.

You looked around. You knew you can't run away even if you wanted to. You just hoped it wasn't a predator waiting to jump on her you....

Suddenly you felt someone touch your shoulder.

You instantly jumped in surpirse then screamed because unfortunately the horrible pain hit yo ur entire body again.

"Woah woah, girl calm down, I don't want to hurt you nor prank you....at least not right now."

That voice...

You looked up at hearing the familiar voice.

It was Junior the one who gave you the necklace for the apology because of the incident.

"I just passed by following my family when I noticed you crying. are you ok?" he asked curiously.

You sighed "No....my tail..it hurts so much and my arm and...everything" You squeaked, trying to speak as clear as possible, but you were unable to because of the crying.

The cloud kid examined you closer and whistled. "Wow you kinda beat yourself up. You need a doctor right now you know."

"But I am far away from Trollstopia....the river...the river washed me away...i don't know where my home is , and I'm so scared..." you started crying again.

"Okay okay stop crying We might figure out something. Hmmm like what if I carry you on my back? We clouds are strong and fluffy. "

He said, gently picking you up bridal style, your badly injured tale hanging loosely.

You looked at him in surprise "you really mean it?"

"Yep, Now let's go!" He said as he flew away

When you arrived back to Trollstopia, you saw your family.

"There they are! my grandparents. Oh and Daddy is there too and Iris!" You said happily as you pointed to the direction where a lot of trolls were running around and calling your name, they were also wearing party hats which confused you.

You brushed it off and called to them "Everyone! I'm here!"

Your friends and Iris looked up and smiled happily at the sight of you.

"Y/n finally!" Clampers cried happily.

"Where have you been?" Cloud asked

The adults finally noticed you and quicky rushed fowards. They all looked relived.

Jr lowered you enough so that Trollex could hold you and hugged you tightly.

"Oh my sweet precious baby girl! I thought I'd lost you" the king of techno said, tears of relief Running down his face.

In that moment you were so happy that you were back. But the happiness was cut off by a sudden horrible pain shooting throughout your entire body.

"AHHHHH"

You cried, panting and whining, squeezing your eyes shut tightly in pain.

Everyone gasped looking more worried.

"Y/n what's wrong?" Lily asked, her eyes full of worry and horror.

"Glow stick, are you alright!?" Synth asked worriedly, looking close to tears.

Trollex started examining you, to his horror he noticed your twisted tale and injured arm.

"I'll take her to the doctor. Poppy, is the doctor active yet?" He asked, panicking.

"Yeah...I mean she's probably going to her pod but if we hurry we can catch her." She replied back, looking down at you in worry.

everyone followed her until they found doctor Moonbloom.

they told her the problem and of course she quicky asked them to come in.

Trollex put you on the table gently while the doctor examined you and too care of the abrasion and bruises with a cold compress and cleaned them too. But as for the right arm and the tail...

Doctor Moonbloom carefully examined them once more before sighing "I can see her arm and fins have been injured badly. I am afraid it could be a lot of broken bones but let's see what the X ray tells us"

she then X rayed your tail and right arm.

A few minutes later and indeed she was right.

Your right arm was broken, however the tail looked in a much worse shape.

"Oh dear. I will be able to put a gypsum on her arm which she will need to hold for a few weeks until we can take it off. The tail however..."

She showed you and your dad a blue picture with a black background. On the picture was two bones that looked crushed almost everywhere, sort of like a broken glass when it hit the ground.

"This one here is a serious one, I could fix it with surgery" doctor Moonbloom said, examining your broken bones.

Surgery!?

You thought fearfully, gripping onto your dad's hand instinctively.

You looked up seeing your father's shocked expression as he stared at the X ray.

He then looked back at his surrogate parents, who tried to avoid his gaze, looking worried and ashamed. They felt foolish for not paying more attetion to you.

Hector looked up and both his and Trollex's eyes locked, he quicky regretted it as the king of techno looked really angry. He felt both he and his wife would get something....

And how right he was.

Trollex motioned for them both to step outside of the room, his eyes still full of rage.

He quickly turned to you with a gentle expression "baby girl, I'll be right back ok? Your mommy will keep you company until then" he said softly, kissing you on the cheek.

You nodded and watched him walk out of the room with your grandparents following.

Once Trollex was comfortable with how far they were, he turned to his parents in law with a furious glare and yelled

"How could you let this happen!!?"

Both Pearl and Hector said nothing and stared down at the floor sadly, what could they say?

He had every right to yell at them.

"How could you both be so careless!? She could have been killed! I thought that you two were responsible!" The angry king ranted, feeling more enraged the more he spoke "I would have expected this kind of thing to happen if she was in Synth's care! But you guys!!?"

Hector and Pearl continued to look at the floor, guilt flooded them, they had no words to express how awful they felt about the whole situation. The thought of almost losing the one thing left of their lost daughter left them heartbroken...

They felt they failed again just like with M/n. They even barely heard Trollex yelling, they were far to depressed. Beat recognised that and quickly flew to his buddy's face to try calm him down.

"Woah take it easy man! I know they messed up, but bear in mind they haven't been around kids for like four years! And it's been a while since they took care of one, so you can at least understand why they would make a mistake..."

Beat said, hoping to calm his best friend down..

It seemed to work, just a little...

Trollex then also noticed that there colors had completely gone, they were faint to begin with but now they had just completely disappeared, there was no trace of them, they lost their natural glow, seeing this, he calmed down more, feeling a little sad for them.

the king of techno sighed and ran a hand down his face, his tired eyes shifting to his surrogate parents.

"Leave" he said softly.

Both Pearl and Hector nodded, quickly leaving to the exit.

They honestly did not blame him at all for this, they just hoped that you would be alright....

Trollex watched them sadly until they floated out of sight, he then began making his way back to the room you were in.

As he opened the door, he heard Lily ask

"When will the surgery take place? Lily asked.

doctor Moonbloom pushed her glasses back on her nose before replying

"we need to wait until the swelling disappears. After that I can do it."

Lily nodded.

You began to shiver at the thought of surgery, you did not like the sound of it...

You whimpered and teared up a little in fright, what were they going to do to you?

Suddenly, you felt a warm hand grab yours and rub your knuckles gently, you looked over and saw your dad, his expression was soft and gentle.

"Shhh it's ok angel fish, I will be right here with you the whole time" he cooed softly, giving your hand a gentle reassuring squeeze.

You calmed down a little at hearing that, then Lily came over and smiled at you gently "don't worry sweetie, you'll be ok"

Oscar came up to you, giving you a comforting smile "don't worry Y/n, when I was younger I had to have surgery on my left leg due to an accident in volcano rock city, and it's completely fine now! Plus, they'll make you fall asleep so you won't feel anything" He reassured you, gesturing to said leg.

You felt a little more relived at this, maybe everything would be ok?....
