Alpha woke up, did his usual training/morning routine and headed off to the LED castle, he picked up Orion just before he left because Orion needed help with his social skills and he knew you could help him with that.

As he got to the castle the guards saluted him and let him in, he swam down the halls and towards Trollex's room.

Trollex woke up to a bright light flooding the room, he realised his door was open and saw Alpha coming in, holding a sleeping Orion, Trollex sighed and reluctantly got out of bed, swimming over to his best friend.

"Alpha, what are you doing here? What time is it?" He asked, rubbing his eyes tiredly

"It's 5 in the morning, but no time for questions, we gotta start your training" Alpha said

Trollex sighed, rubbing his eyes sleepily "ok, I'll just get ready"

As Trollex did his morning routine, Alpha waited for him in the throne room, Orion had began to wake up when It turned to 6 in the morning, tiredly looking around the room "hey dad, where are we?" Orion asked, looking sleepy

"We're in King Trollex's castle, Orion, I'm here to train him" Alpha replied looking down at his son

Orion nodded sleepily, resting his head on his dad's chest once more.

Trollex came in, looking more awake "ok, what are we doing first?" Trollex asked

"First we will start with learning how to hold the sword properly and then I will show you how to attack with it, we will train everyday as much a we can, so you can be ready" Alpha replied

Just then, there was a knock at the castle doors

Alpha looked worried for a second and instinctively pulled Orion closer, looking at the door warily

A techno troll guard opened the door "your majesty, the former king and queen are here, do you want me to let them in?" He asked

Trollex and Alpha looked at each other in surprise

"Yeah sure, thanks" Trollex said looking surprised

The guard nodded and left the room.

Trollex turned to Alpha "Sorry Al, I didn't know my parents were coming over today" he said looking confused

"It's ok, mabye there-" Alpha was cut off when the door opened

two techno trolls came in the room, The male techno troll had yellow eyes and yellow hair, dark blue skin, he also had the same ball things at the tip of his fins, like Bliss marina's

The female had hot pink skin and green eyes and green hair, she had the same rainbow patterns on her arms like Trollex had, she also had pink, purple and blue pixels on her tale.

Former king Triton and Queen Aurora

Trollex looked at his parents in surprise, they looked back at him in concern.

The worried expressions on there faces worsened at the sight of there son, his colors were gone...

King Triton spoke first

"We came as soon as we heard buddy" his father said, the worried look still on his face

"Trollex, honey, we're so sorry we didn't come sooner, we had trouble getting here" His mother said, her expression matching her husband's.

"How are you holding up son? We heard from techno trolls that you haven't been doing so well" his father said, looking at his son sadly.

Trollex sighed, looking away sadly "I've....well, the whole thing has been rough for me but I'm doing better than I was before" he said, forcing a warm smile to hopefully convince his parents he was ok

Former King Triton and Queen Aurora exchanged concerned glances with each other, but both nodded

"Ok, and how is little Y/n doing?" Queen Aurora asked

Trollex couldn't help but smile at the mention of you "she's handling it all ok, she had a nightmare the other night but she's doing better now" he and Alpha shared a glance with each other before he turned back to his parents, looking confused "also, I have some questions to ask you guys if you don't mind" he said

They nodded "we thought you might son, and we are here to answer them, but it would be nice if we did it in a more comfortable place am I right?" Former Queen Aurora said, she then clapped twice and a techno troll servant came in the room, despite no longer wearing the crown she was still the mother of the current king and part of the royal family so therefore servants and guards still took some orders from her

She turned to the servant "please tell the cook to prepare breakfast for four people and serve it in the dining room, and don't be late"

The servant nodded and quickly swam away

Aurora turned back to her oldest son "let's go to the dining room, we'll tell you everything there" she said motioning to her husband and swimming out of the room with everyone else following her

All of them sat down at the table

"Mom, dad, what's going on? What do you know that I don't..." Trollex said, looking at them suspiciously

Aurora sighed and began talking

"Ok son, I'm about to tell you everything I know, and what I should have told you years ago..." she said trailing off

She sighed "a long time ago when I was eight years old, your grandparents asked me to visit certain areas where there were a lot of kids playing together, like special playgrounds and special events, the goal was to get to know my people better since I didn't go to school and always studied at home. One day, I noticed a techno troll child sitting far away from others in the playground. He seemed sad and lonely so I felt the opportunity to help him because it was my duty to make sure techno trolls were happy. He was cautious of me at first and wanted me to leave, but after a while he softened and let me sit down beside him, I learnt his name, it was Freddy, he was three years older than me, he didn't have any friends and I found out that his parents were abusive towards him both physically and mentally, it was the main reason on why he liked to go to school because he wasn't at home with them" she said, looking deep in thought

Trollex and Alpha glanced at each other, looking interested

Aurora continued "I felt sorry for him, I told him I would help him in any way I could, I suggested to him that my parents could talk to his in hopes that it would make his life better. But he quickly said no and asked if we could be friends, and we were, we spent a lot of time together, I calmed him down whenever he got angry and I took care of his injuries that he received from his parents, it took a few years, but I could sometimes see him smiling, he rarely smiled before and I thought it was sweet that he was coming out of his shell. When we became teenagers, I met your father in a hilarious way in one of the raves and we quickly grew to like each other, so we decided to hang out often along with Freddy" she said, her expression changed to a concerned one, confusing Alpha and Trollex

Triton then added "your mother told me everything about him, and I agreed that he could use more friends than one, so I was interested in meeting him" he said, his expression than changed to a look of fear

"After the rave, she introduced me to Freddy, but...his reaction was completely different to what I expected...

He was cold, and unwelcoming towards me, he then told your mother that he didn't need any other friends, he only needed her. It took a while, but your mother managed to convince him that everything would be fine, in the end he seemed to finally expect it..." he said looking away worriedly

At that moment the servant came in and placed plates of food down for them, he then left the room with a bow

Everyone began eating and Aurora said "at first i thought he was just cautious around strangers, like he was with me when we first met, but, later both of us started to realise that was not the case, he never spent time with your father, only me, we both had a feeling he only tolerated him because of me, I didn't know what his problem was...I just hoped he would warm up to him in time....but, it became worse when your father and I fell in love with each other, at first I thought he was just jealous for..." she paused, looking deep in thought

Triton then said "I don't know what kind of reason on why he was, but I felt like there was something more to it than just jealousy.....and I was right" he looked Deep in thought once more.

Aurora then continued "before we became a couple, I already saw the signs, but I paid no attention to them because they rarely did show, every time I tried to befriend someone, Freddy would always make sure it would never happen, looking back now, I understand why he did all that....he wanted to keep me all for himself" Aurora said bitterly, looking angry and Disgusted

Triton then said "when your mother and I became a couple and announced it to techno reef....he started Blackmailing behind your mothers back, at first the warnings were small but it started to become more serious and much darker as well. He even threatened me to take my life or my family's if I met with your mother again....every night I always felt like i was being watched and every morning When I woke up There was always this creepy smiling face painted on the wall, I kept cleaning them off but every morning I'd wake up and another one would be there, and these messages were written below the smiling faces, they were different every time...but there was one that really creeped me out.."

His face paled at the memory

"it said....I never knew much about trolls until I took one apart just to see how it worked"

He began shaking at the memory of it all, he sighed before continuing "I told your mom about them, but she didn't believe me since Freddy always looked nice and friendly whenever he was around her, or if all of us were together. In the end, your mother got upset saying that she knew Freddy had issues but he was not a monster and I was just imagining things"

Aurora sighed "Yeah I remember, back then, I just couldn't imagine he would do such a thing, but one day I realised everything that your father had told me was true....especially the last blackmail" she said, looking disgusted, while Triton looked terrified

Trollex looked at his parents in concern, while Alpha looked disturbed, he had a bad feeling

what had this monster done?

Aurora continued "Freddy came into his room at night when he was sleeping and woke him up by grabbing his throat with one hand, he warned your father if he ignored him again and continued meeting with me his would cut his head off. After he said that he left the room, your father couldn't sleep but stared at the ceiling in panic and stayed inside his home after that, when I visited him again he told me to leave and that he never loved me and it was just a joke. I wasn't stupid though, I knew those were lies, I could tell from his tone of voice that he was terrified and I swore I heard him crying, so I stood in front of the door and spoke softly to him until he calmed down, soon enough he told me what Freddy had done and wanted it to stop he was angry at me for not believing him in the first place about Freddy touring him emotionally, at that moment I realised he was telling the truth and I apologised to him and promised I would deal with Freddy, after that he opened the door and looked terrible. There were dark circles under his eyes from the lack of sleep, his eyes were bloodshot from tears and he looked terrified....I hugged him and kissed him to calm him down, as he cried on my shoulder I decided to make sure Freddy would be held accountable for his crimes. So that day, I asked my soldiers to go and find Freddy and bring him to me, I had a guest room in the castle for your father because I didn't want him to be alone until Freddy was found, I was Queen by then so I used all the power I had to catch that bastard, but unfortunately no one could find him. I remember being angry at the soldiers and guards, yelling at them on how they could not find him since they had searched the entire reef and found no signs of him, the general apologised at least a hundred times and told me they would still look and never give up" she said looking deep in thought.

Triton then said "while the soldiers were away searching for Freddy, I proposed to your mother, I knew it wasn't the right time with how frustrated we were, but I wanted to stay with her and I had already planned to do so that day, since I didn't want...him to ruin it...I created a romantic dinner and used what I could find in the room to decorate it, the whole place looked goofy but your mom loved it" he said and looked at his wife lovingly.

She smiled back at him, mirroring his expression...but then it changed back to a serious one "after I said yes to his proposal, a few days later I decided to visit his room to check on him, but the place was empty. I quickly felt something was very wrong and asked the guards on where your father was, one of them said he left to use the bathroom and a guard accompanied him, I asked how long ago that was and one guard said it was an hour ago, in that moment I realised he was in trouble because an hour ago was the soldiers lunch break, a lot of guards were off duty st that time so I knew it was impossible for two guards to be with him. I quickly swam towards the bathroom with a lot of guards, I tried too open the door but it was locked, eventually one of the guards broke it down and we got inside, and....what I saw still haunts me to this day, your father laid on the floor, unconscious and beaten badly, and above him was Freddy, staring down at him....when he noticed me he turned and looked at me with the most cold emotionless look I had ever seen, it was terrifying...Especially since the room itself was dark since he broke the lights...i quickly collected myself from the shock and ordered the guards to capture him, he tried to escape but luck wasn't on his side this time.

When they got him and forced him on one of his fins down in front of me I asked him why.....why he did everything he did...he didn't say anything back, not a single word, even when the general kicked him in his back to answer me, he just looked at me with those empty, soulless eyes...there was nothing in them at all...and I knew at that moment, that the guy who I had known when I was a kid was gone a long time ago, and that Troll I'm front of me was not him...I asked the guards to throw him out into the ocean were the predators lurked and make sure he would never come back. When they took him away I noticed he had a sly grin on his face before he was gone with the guards...but I couldn't deal with that at that moment, so I rushed over to your father, checking his heartbeat, thankfully he survived it and I quickly took him to the hospital" she said, looking deep in thought as she told the story

Triton then said "I remember that like it was yesterday, when I went in the bathroom and a guard followed me, as I was about to use the bathroom I heard a smashing sound and the lights switched off, everything was pitch black, I felt something was wrong so I managed to find the door, but when I tried to open it, it was stuck, I kept trying to open the door but it wouldn't budge, then behind me, I heard a familiar voice say leaving so soon?.....and after that...that's when..well, you know what happened after that"

"after he fully recovered we got married and you know the rest" Aurora finished and began eating some cookies.

There was a moment of silence in the room as Trollex and Alpha took everything they had just been told in. They both stared at the table looking deep in thought....it was all too much to process...

Triton then stood up "Hey Lex, is it ok if I check on Y/n, I wanna see my granddaughter" he said, smiling happily

Despite feeling overwhelmed by the story, Trollex couldn't help but smile at that "yeah sure, it's probably time for her to wake up"

Triton gave his eldest son a warm smile and swam out of the room.

Orion woke up and looked around sleepily, he noticed the cookies, he looked up at his dad and noticed he was deep in thought, he wanted to ask his dad if he could have some but he looked too distracted, Aurora noticed and smiled at Orion, she grabbed a cookie and held it out to him, Orion looked at her nervously but slowly grabbed it and began eating "it's delicious" he said smiling and nibbling on the cookie.

Triton entered your room and saw your sleeping form, he smiled and swam over and gently stroked your cheek lovingly, hoping to wake you up gently. Suddenly a multicolored beat drop button fish zoomed up to him, giving him a skeptical look.

She looked him up and down and sniffed him "who are you?" She asked sounding suspicious.

Before Triton could answer he noticed you sitting up.

You woke up to hearing Iris yelling, looking up you saw a familiar troll you hadn't seen in a while, you smiled happily

"Hi grandpa!" You said happily, giving him a hug, he smiled and instantly hugged back

Iris floated over to you "Wait...you know this intruder?" She asked, eyeing him warily

Triton gave her and annoyed glare "I'm her grandfather, king Trollex's father" he told the beat drop button fish

"Ohhh ok, just had to be sure" Iris said and floated into your hair.

Triton looked down at you and smiled "good morning my darling, who was that?" He asked you

You looked up at him and smiled "that was Iris, I got her as a gift from my other grandma when I went to visit her and my other grandpa, meeting them went well, I learnt a lot about them and I learnt more about mommy" you said, looking slightly sad at the mention of your late mother...

Triton noticed this and gave you a soft sympathetic smile "that's good that you got to see them and they want to be a part of your life now" he then frowned as he realised something "sweetie, I'm sorry me and your grandma don't have any time for you, but we're figuring out how to get more free time for you, so we can visit you more" he said

"Yay!" You cheered, he chuckled and carried you out of your room and swam towards the dining room.

You smiled when you saw your grandmother "hi grandma!" You said happily

Aurora looked over and smiled "hello angelfish" she said warmly, swimming over and giving you a hug.

Iris suddenly zoomed out of your hair and gave Aurora a skeptical look "and who are you?" She asked, she looked between Aurora and Triton, connecting to the fact that she was your grandmother, Iris calmed down and floated down next to you.

Aurora looked Iris up and down "please come closer" she asked the beat drop button fish, Iris looked at you for permission and you nodded and she slowly swam over to Aurora.

Aurora looked the young beat drop button fish over and smiled "this one is a strong and healthy one, it's also really rare, she can probably cause bigger shockwaves if possible"

You looked at Iris in awe, you had no idea how rare she was

Aurora smiled at Iris "you remind me of my long gone beat drop button fish, he was sassy like you" she said booping Iris on her non existent nose

Iris blinked and slowly floated back next to you, unsure in how to react to that, she was confused by the conversation and wasn't entirely sure what shockwaves were.

You on the other hand were excited, you couldn't wait to drop the beat with Iris one day.

You then spotted Orion and zoomed over, hugging him, Orion was surprised by the hug attack but quickly collected himself and continued eating his cookie, he smiled and hugged back.

He picked up a cookie and handed it to you, you smiled and took it "Thank you Orion, these cookies are my favourite, I like the chocolate chip ones more" you said happily.
