Trollex started swimming to Te Ora.

He wasn't fast enough, so Echo took it upon himself to help him get there.

Meanwhile, Maui used his shapeshifting powers against Te Mate.

He turned into a shark and bit on her finger.

When he was thrown off, he turned into an iguana and ran across her shoulders.

"Hot! Hot! Hot! Hot! Hot!"

He jumped off, turned into a giant hawk, and sliced off her hand again.

She angrily looked for him.

"Hey, Te Mate!"

She turned and saw, "Shark Head!"

Maui then sliced off her other hand.

But, when Maui jumped off again, he was hit onto a small island.

Te Mate looked up and saw Trollex was almost there.

She launched a fireball and Maui shouted, "Trollex!"

Echo saw and tossed Trollex out of harm's way, only to be hit himself.

Trollex saw with horror, "Echo!"

Echo started sinking, severely injured.

When Trollex frantically swam after him, the ocean instead pulled him up to the island.

Trollex knew he had to keep going.

Maui shouted, "Put the heart in the spiral!"

When Te Mate was about to throw another fireball, Maui took his hook and struck her with it, resulting in another blast.

Maui was ok, but saw that his hook...was completely destroyed.

Trollex knew more than ever he had to act quickly.

But, when Trollex looked for it, he saw to his horror...there was nothing there.

"Te Ora...she's gone."

He heard Te Mate roaring and turned.

When he looked at her, he saw a spiral on her chest.

Trollex realized who Te Mate really was.

Maui grabbed her attention, "Te Mate!"

He then shouted ferociously in a native language.

She angrily prepared to destroy him, but Maui was willing to die for the world.

But before she could, she saw a distant glow.

Trollex raised up the heart for her to see it.

He slowly started walking down to the ocean with Maui watching with confusion.
