They raced back to the medical center.

Trollex got there first and saw Current lying in bed with his mother next to him.

Coral came in afterwards, "Father."

They looked at him with sadness and fear.

When Coral and Marine turned to the doctors, Current held Trollex's hand.

He whispered something.

"Grandpa?"

Trollex leaned over to him, so he could hear him say, "Go."

"Not now. I can't."

"You must. The ocean chose you. Follow the fishhook."

"Grandpa."

"There is a whale waiting for you."

Trollex listened to every word his said.

"And when you find Maui, you grab him by the ear and you say...'I am Prince Trollex of Techno Reef. You will board my whale, voyage across the sea, and restore the heart of Te Ora.'"

He put the heart inside his sea turtle pendant and gave it to Trollex.

Trollex teared up as he said, "I...I can't leave you."

Current responded, "There is nowhere you can go that I won't be with you. Now, go."

Trollex then knew what had to be done.

Trollex starts packing, and is soon helped by his mother.

But no one knows how far it goes

(Trollex and Marine hug goodbye and Trollex heads for the cavern.)

All the time wondering where I need to be is behind me

I'm on my own, to worlds unknown

(He grabs every tool he might night. He finds the whale above the cavern. He was able to tame it.)

Every turn I take, every trail I track

Is a choice I make, now I can't turn back

From the great unknown, where I go alone, where I long to be

(Trollex steers the whale towards the edge. He looks back and sees the lights of the medical center went out, meaning his grandfather's time is done.

But, a strong wind blows and a glowing sea turtle appears.

Trollex smiles at it and continues singing.)

See him light up the night in the sea, he calls me

And yes, I know, that I can go

There's a moon in the sky and the wind is behind me

Soon I'll know, how far I'll go ♫

Trollex's whale crossed the reef.

He knew that there was no turning back now.

The next morning, Trollex tried to keep control of the whale.

He steered it much like a wild horse; He used reigns made of seaweed.

He also placed many saddlebags on the top of the whale, all full of navigation tools and food.

While he was steering, he kept repeating what he would say once he found Maui,

"I am Prince Trollex of Techno Reef. You will board my whale, voyage across the sea, and restore the heart of Te Ora."

"I am Prince Trollex...*thud*...of Techno...*thud*...Reef?*thud*"

He looked into the saddlebag where he put the food.

He carefully lifted the flap to discover..."Beat Drop?"

TBDB was taken out of the bag.

Trollex asked, "What are you doing here?"

TBDB answered, "I was looking for a quiet place to nap. I thought this would be a nice spot since nobody...ever...uses..."

TBDB noticed where they were.

He then started screaming.

Trollex then rubbed his head while saying, "It's ok. You're all right."

TBDB was calm, but still had questions, "Where are we? Where's Techno Reef? What are we doing out here?!"

Trollex explained, "I'm going to find Maui and make him restore the heart of Te Ora. You...and no offense, but you...weren't supposed to be here."

TBDB replied, "Well, I'm here now. And I guess there's no turning back. So...I guess I'm coming with you."

Trollex smiled, "Thanks, buddy. It makes me feel better knowing I'm not doing this alone."

Trollex then went back to steering position, "Next stop: Maui."

TBDB was in awe of how he could steer the whale.

He asked, "So...what's his name?"

Trollex realized the whale needed a name.

He thought for a minute, then the whale made a bellow that echoed through the ocean.

Trollex then decided to name him...

"Echo."
