《And You became my Dawn》Chapter#25

Sandal's POV:
I looked at the girl standing in front of me through a huge mirror. Wearing a red bridal dress, she was not the girl I knew. She was not Sandal Khalil anymore. She was a woman, a married woman ... wife of Ahmed Wali... Mrs Sandal Ahmed.
Yes, I got married to Ahmed Wali tonight... how did that happen? ... I didn't have an answer for that... he managed to win over my family... Ami was happy with him and believes he is best for me... when I saw the extreme of happiness in Ami's eyes, watching me within this red dress. I didn't regret my decision... putting everything behind me, I make up my mind on trusting her choice... just like that... no commotions... no arguments at all... I thought I was tough but it turned out to be wrong, I am just an average girl who put family's happiness above all. Without wasting any time our wedding was held on the next week of Zohma's marriage... and now here I am... in his house, in his room, as his wife.
My heart was beating wildly, as time passes by and now I feel scared to death... what have I been thinking...and what I should do now???
My breath hitched when I heard the door opening but I didn't move a bit. I lift my gaze and saw him closing the distance between us, with a triumphant look on his face. As he stood in front of me a smile formed on his face, his eyes have a glint of happiness in them... or maybe it was a reflection of the golden embroidery of my dress. Without saying a word, he kept staring at me. At that time I noticed how handsome he was looking in his brown Sherwani.
"You know you look beautiful when you checking me out like this." He said smiling and quickly I dropped my gaze.
I heard a chuckle and he said, "You don't have to look away." With that, he pulled me closer holding my hand.
"You have the right for this." He put his forehead on mine.
I can feel his warm breath on my face and it was making my legs jelly... I tried to control myself but fail, all my senses and my body went numb and I feel like about to fall. He circled his arm around my waist and helped me stand steady.
"I think you need some rest... the bathroom is on the left side, your clothes are already there." He mentioned to the left and step aside.
I feel a little dejected for some reason but kept my mouth closed. I walked carefully to the bathroom, so I won't trip on my heavy dress, its weight too much. I opened the door and my mouth left ajar watching this huge stylish bathroom. It took me a few seconds to come back to my senses and when I turned to the vanity mirror, I mentally facepalm myself.

How am I going to take off so many things by myself? Even in the saloon, this dress was settled by two people excluding me... Not only the dress was heavy but it's also two-layered and has two dupattas. One was settling on my head and the other was on my right arm. For several minutes I tried to find pins on my dress to take it off but didn't succeed. Helplessly I walked out of the bathroom for asking Sir to help me but I stop at the door when I saw him busy on phone.
Seriously! What's wrong with this man???
As his eyes landed on me, he ended the call and walked towards me.
"You haven't changed any problem?" He asked worriedly.
"I need your help... a little."
"Help?... for what?"
"I cannot reach the pins on the back of my dress...can you help me out?" I instantly regretted my decision when a devilish smile crept upon his face.
"Sure, I would love to."
He took off his Sherwani and leaves the inner kurta on, to be comfortable and asked me to sit in front of the mirror and tell me how to take out pins. I guided him where the pins were and how to unpin them.
He worked with such concentration like his life depended on it. One by one he took off all pins from both dupattas and then he also took out my hairpins too without asking. This was a sweet gesture but all this time my concentration was on calming myself, though getting very difficult since he was standing so close to me.
"Here, you can easily take off your dress now or do you want help in this too?" He smirked stepping aside.
"N-no thanks... I can handle it from here." I quickly went back to the washroom.
"Don't forget to call me if you need help. I will be more than happy to be at your service Mrs Ahmed." I closed the door, without answering.
My face was red and my heart was pounding hard, I could still feel his body heat.
What is wrong with me???
Releasing myself from the dress, I wiped the layers of makeup from my face. Feeling more like the real me, after a long shower I searched for my nightwear and cursed Zohma because of its red colour but thank God it has a gown to cover or else I might never muster the courage to leave the bathroom.
Hesitantly I step into the room, Sir was sitting on a couch busy on his phone again. Silently stood in the middle of the room in an awkward position, not knowing what to do or say. He might have noticed my presence as he turned his head to me and got up, "Why are you standing? You can go to sleep if you are tired, I am going to take a shower first and-" He paused for a second staring at me and continued, "and I will be eating something after the shower."

I nodded my head.
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"What?"
"Your nod."
"Nothing."
"What why did you nod?" He said walking over to me.
"I-it just a habit." He was standing so close to me, looking at me with an intense gaze.
I shouldn't step back right???
"You were going?"
"Yes, I am." He said holding a tip of my hair strand and leaning to my shoulder, "As expected, this shampoo does suit your fragrance."
What?
Bewildered, I just stare at him with wide eyes. A smile crept upon his face as he pinched my nose.
"Don't be so shocked just right now, I will give you many more chances for it." With that, he went to the bathroom.
That was uncomfortable...
I let out a heavy breath which I didn't even know I was holding.
Is it me or does everyone feel the same way on the wedding night???
It took me some time to school myself and when I was finally able to calm my unsteady heartbeats, I looked at his room carefully. It was decorated with numerous aroma candles and red roses.
"It looks beautiful." I murmured. Lying down on the bed I start looking at a huge crystal showpiece with floating candles in it. After a short while, my eyes started to feel heavy and I
drifted into sleep.
~*~I don't remember when I slept so peacefully last time. I was awake but don't feel like opening my eyes. So, I lay still but after sensing an arm under my head I abruptly got up thinking, it was Hareem's. My quick movement also disturbed the presence beside me and I didn't realize who that was until I heard a sleepy masculine voice.
"Hay! What happen?" My head snapped towards the voice and saw Sir watching me with his one eye closed.
"What are you doing here?" Without thinking I asked him and he opened both eyes.
You're married to him...
My mind snapped at me.
Oh no!
"What?" He got up.
I quickly shook my head and get off the bed.
"Sandal what happen?" He asked worriedly.
"Nothing, I just realize I... missed my Fajar prayer." I lied, to be honest, I panicked imaging myself lying in his arms.
"Uff! You scared me." He said and dropped himself onto the bed again.
"Sorry."
"Don't be, it's okay... Go and get fresh it's already ten a.m." I nodded.
"Oh and you can pick any dress you like, there are plenty of wardrobes." He said putting his face under a pillow.
"Thanks." I mumbled.
I blinked my eyes thrice to make sure I am not dreaming. There was a huge line of branded dresses with the same colour sandals and clutches. Take out a sea green colour dress to wear and walk into the bathroom.
~*~
I saw my Valeema dress before but never thought it will be something like this. It was a cream colour maxi with a long tail and golden heavy embroidery on it.
"Zohma! What were you thinking when you buy this dress? Its tail is too long."
"I didn't buy the dress, none of us did." She shrugged.
"Then?"
"It was Imran's choice."
"Imran? You mean that model?"
"Yes."
"But why did he choose such heavy dresses, it's hard to walk in it."
"Well, that exactly why he choose it... he thinks it's romantic when a groom helps her bride in handling her dress." She informed me.
"Agreed." Sir stepped into the room wearing a black tuxedo.
"Mashallah! You're looking handsome Bhai." Zohma said.
"And you're also looking beautiful Bhai's sister."
"I know. Get ready, we are about to leave." She kissed his cheek and left. With a low chuckle, Sir turned his attention to me.
"Shall we?" He asked and I got up. He briskly walked to me and stood in front of me. Leaning his face closer to mine, he looked at my face like searching for something.
"What?" I asked.
"Something feels incomplete." He whispered.
"Huh?"
"Wait!... Don't move okay." I stood still thinking about what might have gone wrong. He tilted his head a little and places kissed me. It made me jump slightly, I wasn't expecting it.
"Well, I guess that's the only thing I can do now, don't want to ruin your lipstick." He winked straighten himself, leaving my heart in a frenzy.
