《The Monster Inside ➺ Scott. M》Chapter 47

1982, Hull, England.
Harshly, Stella knocked on the white door which stood proudly in front of her. The small yet big house was decorated with flowers and loud sounds could be heard from inside the house.
The industrial city smelt like smoke as cars, cigarettes and factories poisoned the city. Streets littered and everywhere she went, there were always young Chavs. The loud and arrogant teenagers annoyed her; they were just rebelling kids with too much spare time on their hands.
Behind her stood some of the Peaky Blinders whom she turned; it was their wish. Arthur, Thomas, John and Nimah stood in the modern clothing. The rest of the Shelbys chose to live their human lives - not wanting to live forever.
Finally, The door opened slightly as the chain which connected it to the wall stopped it from opening further. Through the crack, a young man stared at the ginger girl. He stared at her like he hasn't seen anyone in years - he looked surprised, scared even. "Yes?" He finally choked out.
Stella smiled slightly at the boy "I'm Stella Allen, I was wondering if you could help me." She said quietly, afraid that if she talked louder, she would scare him away. He was supposedly a powerful warlock, yet not many knew of him. He hid in the shadows and didn't let anyone close to him. It was a miracle that the previous witch she found, told her about him.
The man gulped, already knowing that the people in front of him were immortal. With a loud gulp, he spoke "sorry but I can't help you".
He began closing the white door but Stella caught it just before he fully closed it. "Please. You're my last hope. I'll do anything." She said frantically, begging the man to let her in. He was her last chance at finding out who she really was. She let go of the door and it slammed shut. Tears stung her eyes as she looked at the white door.

"It's Okay, we'll find someone else" Nimah whispered as she placed her small hand on Stella's shoulder - comforting the girl. Stella nodded and turned around, ready to walk away; the sound of the chain moving stopped the group from walking further. They looked at the door which was now open wide, the man smiled at them slightly.
He sighed loudly as the group walked closer to the door, not being able to enter. "I'm going to regret this." He said to himself before before moving out of the way "come on in." He said.
Stella smiled widely and the group entered the house which seemed a lot bigger inside. Tonnes of old objects scattered around the house - which was a mess. The windows were covered with dark, heavy blinds which stopped the sunlight from entering. It was like the man was hiding from the outside world.
The group followed the man who walked into the living room, gesturing for them to sit down on the sofas which were surprisingly clean. They all sat down while the man remained standing, taking in his situation. "If I help you, with whatever it is you want, I will need something in return." He finally spoke and Stella nodded.
"Anything." The ginger spoke and stood up. The man's magic pushed her back down on the couch quickly.
He smiled and sat down on a chair in front of the couch, his leg shaking violently as he bit his thumb. "I will need protection." He told them, earning confused glanced from his guests. "There is a coven of witches who I really angered. I've been living in hiding since the 1890s." He explained and The men gasped surprised.
Arthur, being Arthur, couldn't stop himself from asking "How are you still so...."
"Young?" He asked and the man nodded. He smiled "I age very slowly... I put a spell on myself. Now, before I help you. I need you all to tell me who you are and, obviously, What you need help with." He announced "my name is Matthew Williams." He introduced himself.

Stella smiled back at the older man "I'm Stella Allen. This is Nimah, Tommy, John and Arthur Shelby." She introduced the whole group.
The man smiled excitedly "Peaky Blinders?" He asked and the group nodded "fantastic. Now, tell me what you want."
Stella nodded, but before answering, She asked "How long do you need us to protect you?"
He chuckled "depends on what you want me to do."
Stella nodded "fair." She muttered before telling him what she needed. "I lost my memories and I need them back."
The man nodded, "when did you lose them?" He asked and walled towards the girl. He grabbed her head and closed his eyes, searching for something.
Stella looked at the man confused "60 years ago" she answered.
He sighed and rolled his eyes "while you were human?" He asked.
Stella raised her eyebrows, unsure why that information played a factor in this. "No." She told him.
The man's eyes opened wide and he took a few steps back before sitting back in the chair. He stared blankly for a few seconds before laughing dramatically at the girl. The group looked at each other, unsure why the man was acting in such a way.
He spoke again after calming down "you want me..." He pointed at himself "... to give you..." He pointed at her "your memories back?" He questioned and the girl nodded "The memories which an Original made you forget?" He asked with disbelief.
The group, once again, looked at each other in confusion. "The originals?" She questioned and the man stopped chuckling instantly.
He raised his eyebrow at her question "you don't know who they are?" He asked surprised. They all shook their heads and the man sighed. "They're the first vampires ever created. The strongest, fastest, most dangerous and most of all, they're able to compel other vampires." He explained. "One of them took your memories away, gingerbread." He smiled at Stella.
She gulped "will you be able to bring them back?" She questioned.
"The originals or the memories?" He asked as he grabbed a cookie from the table beside him and took a bite. Stella just glared at him and he rolled his eyes "I will have to find out which one did it first." He said.
John suddenly spoke up "How many of them are there?" He questioned.
"There's Mikael, Elijah, Niklaus, Kol, Astrid and Rebekah." He told them "Astrid being the strongest one and Klaus being the most impulsive one." He added and sighed "let's just hope it's neither of them."
The group nodded, trying to understand what was suddenly revealed. "So, will you bring me my memories back?" Stella questioned.
He sighed and looked into her eyes "Sure. But it will take time - few months at least, if not years. And since I'll be playing with fire, you will protect me till the rest of my days." He smiled gaining shocked expressions from the group.
Stella sighed "fine, but since you're helping me, you will not bring them into this." He spoke and he smiled with a nod. "When can we start?" She asked.
"Tomorrow." He simply answered and walked away from them, knowing that they won't hurt him. They needed him too much to do that.
He walked into his room and looked at a photo which stood on his bedside table. A photo of him and three blonde siblings - the originals. And the love of his life, Rebekah Mikaelson.

A Fool's Journey, or the Vagrancies of a Man in Exotic Lands
What does a sad bastard do when fate, literally, decides to throw him into a fantasy world? Solon just wanted to lead a normal life; work, share some pizza with friends, work, play some videogames or read something, work, maybe sleep?, work... Pretty much the usual, rinse and repeat. It was far from perfect, but life was nicely boring and comfy enough. Truth be told, he had hoped it would go on forever, or until he got married, or until the apocalypse finally decided to bring an end to everything. As far as he could tell, though, the former was about as likely as the latter; not very. And perhaps even somewhat related, if it ever came to it. Unfortunately, he saw himself involved in some sort of cosmic fart that screwed him over, brutally severing his life-plan. Or, maybe, would it be more suitable to say that Fate had other plans? Sure, he's yet to find out exactly what those plans might be, but, at the very least, they do seem to involve him being shoved into another world, fighting off a couple of horrendous creepers, and -almost- an accidental liaison with a baboon. Needless to say, the job doesn't come with dental care, and death seems more likely than retirement... Yep, when he got yoinked out of Earth, there were no princesses waiting for him, no sexy goddesses, and no severe Gandalf-wannabes! Heck, not even a bunch of demonic cultists! All he got for the trouble was a bunch of snarky windows and the honest desire to punch whatever bastard happens to be behind the smug System. Well, that, and a few forced trips to the so-called Tower of Ascension. Not exactly what he would have expected but, on the plus side, he does get to do some magic. Though, not quite the wand-waving kind. Whatever. One thing’s patently clear, though, he’s certainly not the chosen one, nor the summoned hero, nor the Savior. If anything, he himself might be in need of some saving... Just what kind of fool does the System take him for? Please do consider the tags. Also, 'Strong Lead' here means weak to strong, over a decent amount of time, not op from the very beginning. Things to expect: decent grammar, cheeky goats. Things not to expect: Harems, a decent sense of fashion.
