"Food! Food! We're going to eat food!" Nat sang skipping down the corridor.
"What else would we eat? I giggled, rolling my eyes. She stopped to think, then shrugged her shoulders.
"People?"
"Ew!"
"Cannabalism!"
"Tell me you'd never?" I gasped, shying away from her. She rolled her eyes, thumping me in the back of the head, then skipped down the hall. "You never denied it!" I muttered, rubbing where she hit. I saw Trelawney coming down the stairs crying. She had big trunks and Umbridge was looking down, smirking at her. Professor McGonagall was trying to comfort her. Good Merlin! Why can't I hear?
"-leave the premises!" Umbridge said, stepping down from the steps.
"Pst! Hey! You! Oh your that guy from the train! Whatever. What's going on?" He gave me a funny look but sighed, running a hand through his hair.
"Umbridge sacked the Divination freak!" He rolled his eyes, turning away from me. I gasped, pushing towards the front.
"That toad!" I hissed, glaring at her. I made it to the front of the crowd in time to see Dumbledore.
"Minerva if you would, take Syball up to her quarters?" He asked, face blank and emotionless. Harry was on the other side of the hall, behind Dumbledore, watching as I was.
"As enforcer here at Hogwarts I have the right-"
"To sack my teachers yes. But you do not have the right to banish them from the premises. That privilege remains with the headmaster. For now!" He said, turning around. "Well? Don't you all have classes! Go on!" He snapped, heading back to his room. He seemed angry, I've never see Professor Dumbledore like that! He's always so calm!
Umbridge, however, was that familiar yet ugly shade of purple I've grown used to. She stomped away angrily as Grandma McGonagall helped Professor Trewlawney. Harry was calling for our headmaster, trying to get his attention, but he won't answer him. I stood there, watching as he kept walking away from Harry, who had quit calling his name already. Surely he heard him? Why is he ignoring him?
I shook my head, walking over to Harry. "Are you alright?" I whispered, taking his hand. His eyes were closed and he was breathing heavily. It spiked his temper again, and now he needs to calm down. "Do you want to go to the Hall? We can get some lunch and then we have a break. Give you a chance to calm down a bit?" I kept my tone soft and gentle, I attempted to sooth him, rubbing circles into his hand like he does when I'm upset.
He only nodded, keeping his eyes closed. I pulled him in the right direction, making sure he didn't trip or run into anything. When we got to our seats, he seemed relatively calmer. "Thanks!" He muttered, sitting down beside me on the bench. I nodded, giving him a small smile. Lunch was quiet, except the constant buzzing of what just happened. Mione was reading the prophet silently, Ron eating like normal, Ginny and Draco whispering back and forth, and Nat was down the row a bit with Fred and George.
"Better?" I whispered, grabbing the treacle tart at the same time he did. He nodded, smiling, I let him take the tart, reaching for pudding instead. He chuckled, wrapping his arms around my waist. We finished eating and then walked to the common room.
"Hey, I'll be right back. I just need to run to the library for a minute. Be careful!" He kissed my forehead, walking backwards. I nodded, smiling, when he was gone I sat beside Mione, who snapped her book shut automatically.

I jumped backwards, looking at her funnily. "We have to do something about Umbridge." She stated, folding her arms over her chest.
"I agree?" I said, sitting forward so no one would over hear our conversation. She smiled happily, continuing the conversation.
"I was thinking. What if we made a club, and you and Harry could teach us!" She beamed, clapping her hands together. My jaw dropped, but I closed it quickly, biting my lip. Harry would be better at this. I mean, if he would do it, I'd help, but it'd be him in charge. "Please Gracie! I need you to help convince him!"
"Your going to have to convince me first Mione. Why would I be any good at this? I mean, Harry would be brilliant! But me?" I trailed off, looking away. It's always come down to Harry during the defense stuff. Never me.
"Yes you! Your always there beside him! You've been through so much an lived! Your basically guaranteed a position as auror! Everyone knows that! Who better than to teach us how to fight you know who, then the two people of three people who've ever done it and lived?" She grabbed my arm, squeezing it. I sighed, nodding my head.
"I'll do it. On two conditions!"
"Anything!"
"First of all, Harry has to do it! I'll be his assistant or something. Harry has to be in charge. And secondly, stop with the you know who! You know as well as I so fear of the name only increases fear of the thing itself!" I rolled my eyes, watching her smile grow.
"Deal!"
"What's a deal?" Draco and Ginny flopped down on the love seat and Nat in a chair. It was Nat who asked, but I was focused on Draco.
"How'd you get in here?" I asked, eyeing him skeptically.
"I blocked the twits ears while our love struck little friend over here said the password!" Nat rolled her eyes, jabbing a thumb at Ginny. I smiled at them, letting them know I didn't mind. "So what deal?"
"Gracie agreed!" Mione squealed, bouncing up and down.
"She did?! You did!?" Ginny jumped up, staring down at me incredulously. I nodded, quirking an eyebrow. Nat, Gin, and Mione jumped around squealing an such.
"I get the feeling they planned this!" I yelled over the noise, talking to Draco. He nodded, staring at them. More Ginny than anyone, but yeah. I rolled my eyes, waiting for the squeals to die down.
"What's with all the noise?" Harry asked, sitting down beside me. The girls saw him and shut up immediately, batting their eyes and smiling sweetly. It was so weird! Harry looked scared. "What?"
"We need your help!" Ginny smiled, stepping closer. Mione had a creepy smile, like pedobear creepy. He scooted backwards uncomfortably, looking at me for help. I burst into laughter, watching it unfold, Draco joined me, doubling over and clutching his stomach.
"No guys. Just no!" I laughed, wiping away a tear of laughter. "Harry, they're are right. We need your help!" I smiled softly at him, taking his hand.
"Unbelievable! You can see him melting!" Nat whispered, throwing her hands into the air.
"Shush!" Mione hushed, elbowing her.
"With what?"
"Mione and apparently these other two have been scheming. They want us to make a club thing, be in charge, teach them Defense Against the Dark Arts. I the words of Hermione Granger, who better to teach them to defeat Voldemort better than the two of three people who've ever done it and lived?" I rolled my eyes, giving him a small smile.

He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly, not really looking at any of us. "I don't know!"
"That's what I said." I muttered, rolling my eyes again. He smirked a bit, then nudged me gently.
"How'd they get you to cave? I know they put you up to this!"
I giggled, smiling at him. "They asked for my help. Mione is quite convincing!" I winked at her, causing et to blush. "And I said I'd do it in two conditions. One, you were in charge. I'll help of course, like an assistant thing, but it's mainly you during all these adventures!" I smiled, resting my head on his shoulder. "And two!" I smirked this time. "They aren't aloud to say you know who or any of that crud. His name is Voldemort and that's what they call him!"
"That's a good one!" He laughed, but then the smile disappeared and he looked nervous again. "I'm really not that good, why do I have to be in charge?"
"Oh come off it Potter! Everyone knows you two are best suited to the job!" Draco rolled his eyes, shoving the two of us playfully. I looked at Harry and gave him my best puppy dog face.
"Come on! It'll only be people we trust! Wait, Mione, Nat, Gin, how do you know people will show up?" I asked, turning to them. They exchanged a glance, smirking. Mione pulled a roll of parchment out of her bag.
"A list of people who are interested in joining!"
It read: Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley, Fred and George Weasley, Natalyn Black, Cho Chang, Blaze Zambini, Luna Lovegood, Seamus Finnigan, Dean Thomas, Justin Fintch-Fletchy and multiple others. My eyes widened at this list.
"Wow!" I breathed, passing it to Harry.
"And we've already got the meeting set!" Nat said, sounding firm. I looked at Harry, biting my lip, waiting for his response. He stared down at me for a few minutes, his eyes changing emotions every few seconds.
"When is this meeting?" He sighed, running a hand through his hair. I smiled, kissing him. Ginny, Nat, and Mione started squealing again. I groaned, covering my ears. Harry and Draco did the same.
"Oi! Malfoy!" I yelled, glaring at him. He turned in my direction. "Make her shut up!" He looked confused but then smirked. He grabbed her hips, pulling her backwards. She stopped squealing and giggled, he crashed his lips to hers. "Well I didn't mean that but okay!" One down two to go! Fred and George walked in, laughing with Lee. Fred immediately took notice of Natty, making a beeline for her. "Take a leaf out of Malfoy's book?"
"My pleasure!" He smirked, kissing her as well. Mione stood there, staring at the couples, pouting.
"Want me to fetch Ron?" I wiggled my eyebrows, removing my hands from ears due to the newfound silence. So peaceful! She glared at me!
"Oh go snog Harry!" She snapped, stomping towards the stairs, a blush on her face. I giggled, watching her go. Harry pulled me onto his lap, smirking at me. I smiled, bringing my lips to his. So yeah, Ginny and Draco, Nat and Fred, Harry and I are all sitting in the common room, snogging, for anyone to see.
"Oi!" Ron yelled, shoving Harry and I. "Knock it off! All of you!" Harry and I pulled away from each other, smirking. There was a little first year watching us, eyes wide.
"Don't try that at home!" I said, winking at her. She giggled, running away to another group of girls. Harry laughed, hugging me to him. "Something you wanted Ronald?"
"Yeah! For those two to quit eating each others face!" He jabbed a thumb at Nat and Fred who hasn't stopped when Ron so rudely interrupted. "And for you two," Harry and Draco this time,"to stop snogging my baby sisters in public!" He yelled, face turning red. I rolled my eyes, crossing my arms.
"I'm not a baby Ron! And neither is Ginny!"
"That's right! I can snog whoever I want!" Ginny glared, flipping Ron off. "Come on Draco! We'll find somewhere else to go!" She smiled, pulling him to his feet. He smirked, following her out the portrait hole.
"Ew!" I shuddered, burying my face in the crook of Harry's neck. He laughed, tightening his hold farther.
"What? You and Harry act like that all the time!" Ron scoffed, dropping onto the couch. Mione skipped back down the stairs, sitting beside him. I crossed my arms defiantly.
"First of all, no we don't. I do not try to seduce him like that! Second-"
"You do too!" Mione yelled, pointing at me. "Maybe not so boldly, but you do seduce him! All the time!"
"I do not!" I gaped, glaring at her.
"Oh Gracie doesn't mean to. It comes naturally. She's veela remember? And Harry, well he's jut plain whipped!" Nat smirked, sitting on Fred's lap. She scooted around, getting comfortable, and e groaned, holding her hips tighter. I wrinkled my nose because that's jut gross.
"I do not!" I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "But I'm not going to argue with you!"
"Well I am! I am not whipped!" Harry glared at them, making them all burst into laughter.
"Sorry mate, but your worse than Dad! Worse than Sirius!" Ron laughed, resting his elbows in his knees.
"Worse than Lupin!" Nat pitched in, winking at me. I smiled at that one, because guess what! I'm not the only who sees that he and Tonks have feelings for each other!
"I'm not whipped!" He groaned, flopping back into the couch.
"Okay. I dare you not to go with in ten feet of Gracie for ten minutes. And the same goes for you Gracie, but the bet continues. If you complete part one, you can't kiss, hug, she can't sit on you, and you can't say anything mushy until lunch tomorrow!" Mione smirked, crossing her arms.
My jaw dropped, as did everyone else's. "And I thought Natalyn was the devious one!" Ron breathed, smiling at Mione. She blushed furiously, turning away. No! Don't take the bet Harry! Don't do it!
"No deal!" THANK MERLIN HALLELUJAH! "But I could if I wanted to!"
"No you couldn't!" Fred laughed, shaking his head at Harry. Harry flipped him off, making this weird face. It was kind of cute! I giggled, poking his cheek. He turned to me in confusion.
"What was that for?"
"You made a funny face!" I shrugged, poking him again.
"And that one?"
"Cus it was fun the first time I did it!" He rolled his eyes, flipped me onto the couch, and began tickling me, hovering over top of me. "Stop it!" I laughed, shoving at his hands.
"Nope!"
"Why not?" I continued laughing while the gang rolled their eyes, walking away.
"Because it's fun!" He smirked, continuing his evil torture. I laughed and laughed, rolling around wildly. At one point, I fell, so I grabbed Harry, pulling him down with me. We fell into the floor below the couch, both of us laughed. The laughter died down, by now it was just the two of us in the common room. I rolled over on top of him and kissed him while he put his hands on my hips.
It didn't take much for him to kiss me back. I pulled away, looking him in the eye. "I love you!"
"I love you too!" He whispered, kissing me me again.
"Not what I wanted to see but okay!" I jumped off of Harry frantically, looking around. Dad's head was in the fire, along with Mum, who was smiling happily. I smiled back, waving. "Tell me, how's school? What's Umbridge up to?"
"A bunch of crap! She's the enforcer now, or something like that!" I rolled my eyes crawling over the the fire. Harry stayed where he was, leaning his head backwards so he could see. I turned back to my parents, watching them exchange a glance.
"Sirius! You know something! Why is Umbridge here? Why aren't we aloud to use our wands?" Harry asked, rolling on his stomach. Dad sighed, looking at Mum.
"Fudge thinks that Dumbledore is creating an army, one to overpower the ministry. Take his job. He's sent her there to keep an eye on the situation, and the more power she has, the less chance Dumbledore has of creating the army."
"That ridiculous!" I scoffed, rolling my eyes. "What mental patient would think that? Dumbledore turned down the job of minister years ago!"
"Gracie, Fudge isn't thinking right. Not that he ever was, but it's worse now. A lot worse!" Mum sighed, a hand appeared, running through her hair. I nodded, but I still don't really understand. "So, what are you kids going to do about it?"
Harry and I exchanged a look, rolling our eyes. "Natalyn, Hermione, and Ginny decided that we should be teachers. They organized a club and scheduled the first meeting. They want us to be in charge and teach these people Defense Against the Dark Arts!" Harry groaned, dropping his head into his hands.
"That's brilliant!" Dad smiled, looking excited. I rolled my eyes, shaking my head. I yawned, laying back on Harry. "Go to sleep kiddo!" Dad laughed. "Night sweetheart. Night Son!"
"Night Dad!" We chorused, waving at him. I smiled, falling asleep right then and there.
"Night love!" Harry kissed my head and picked me up, carrying me upstairs.
