Guess what! My amazing bestie asked me to stay the night with her, and she has wifi!!!! I can update!!! More to come!!!! You should read her story too!!! It's really good!!! @kelbegil One question, should Gracie be in the tournament???? Yes or no???? Comment!!!

Am I in Harry's room? What the heck? Wait, no, that's Mione! But, holy Merlin! That's Ron! Am I in some sort of parallel universe or something?

Okay Gracie. Don't get stupid.

I sat up, looking around the room. There were two empty beds, probably Dean and Seamus' because Neville's sitting on his with some book. I looked down and found myself wearing another of Harry's shirts. I shrugged, throwing the covers off and tried to stand up, but Harry's arm imprisoned me. "Wingardium Leviosa!" I whispered, using Harry's wand. It didn't work as well as I would have liked it to, but it worked all the same.

"Finally awake eh?" I turned to the door where I heard the voice. Seamus was standing there glaring at me, and Dean stood behind him looking awkward. I spun around, looking to Neville for help.

"Lay off Seamus! She's with Harry! Get over it!" He rolled his eyes and stood up, walking our way. He stood in front if me, blocking Seamus from my view. "Come on Gracie, wake up Hermione and lets get out of here!" I nodded, walked over to Ron's bed and tapped Hermione.

She looked confused, then she saw Ron and blushed, she gasped and threw herself backwards, falling off of the bed with a loud thump. "Come on! We need to get ready for class!" I giggled, helping her to her feet. Neville led us over to the door, standing in front of Seamus so that he couldn't see me, then closed the door behind himself. "Thanks Neville. I couldn't have done it with out you!" I giggled, hugging him with one arm.

"Your welcome. Um, Gracie. Do you think Ginny would go to the ball with me?" He muttered, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Oh Neville! Of course she would! And trust me, you won't regret it!" I smiled, clapping my hands together. Mione squealed beside me, looking extremely happy.

"H, how should I ask her?"

"Hm. When we go to Hogsmeade, get her a rose. Just one, but that'll be enough. It's her favorite flower. Then just ask her. Don't tell anyone else your going to though, otherwise it might get back to her and ruin the surprise!" I smiled, moving down a few steps, Mione following me. I noticed Nat coming out of Fred's room, looking confused.

"What if someone else asks her first?" He asked, putting a hand on the doorknob.

"We'll make sure she's available Neville!" Nat asked, coming up beside me. "Ginny right?" She whispered, making sure he didn't hear. I gave her a nod, watching the smile appear on his face.

"Thanks Gracie! Thank you Natalyn and thanks Hermione!"

"Your welcome!" We chorused, waving and hopping down the stairs. We skipped over to the girls dorm, opening our room and walking inside. I grabbed my robes and changed quickly. We were all silent as we got ready. I brushed my teeth and put on bottom eyeliner, nothing else. I left my hair straight, not really caring how I looked right now.

When I walked out, Mione and Nat were hissing back and forth. "Guys? Guys! GUYS!"

"WHAT?!"

"Oi! Don't get snappy with me! What's your problem?"

"How did we get in there?" Mione whispered, looking like she was going to cry. I knew she liked

Ron! And now she's embarrassed, probably feels like they won't talk anymore. She's worried she's going to loose him before she gets him. Ha! I get it!

"I say we fell asleep and they didn't want to leave us down there by ourselves," I shrugged, putting Harry's shirt in my trunk. I'll wash it later, whether he gets it back is still up for consideration. How I got in it, I'd prefer not to visit.

"Whatever. Lets just go to breakfast!" Nat sighed grabbing her bag. I did the same, placing it on my shoulder and then ran a hand through my hair. Nat had done basically the same thing I did with our hair. Mione's bushy hair was actually bushy today, like she didn't want to deal with it either. Her's was thrown up in a ponytail. End of story. We all look like crap.

We opened the door and walked down stairs, still in silence. When we got down, Harry was waiting for me. "Hey!" He smiled, coming over and wrapping an arm around me. I smiled, leaning my head on his shoulder. I heard Mione sigh behind me.

"How does he do that even when she looks like crap?" Nat hissed, making me roll my eyes.

"Because she doesn't!" Harry called over his shoulder, obviously hearing them too. I laughed, and kissed Harry's cheek.

"Thanks Harry!"

"No problem!" He grinned, pushing the portrait hole open and pulling me through. We got to the hall quickly, took our normal seats and sat down to have breakfast. A first year was on the other side of me, looking around nervously.

"Hello!" I said, trying to start a conversation with the poor kid. She jumped, looking really scared. I wonder what she's so worried about? "Um, what's wrong?"

"M, my t,twin b,brother. He's in a d,different h,house!" She sobbed, hiding her head in her hands. On instinct, I pulled her into my arms, holding her close and tried to calm her down.

"Shhh. It'll be okay, I promise. Have you talked to your roommates?" She shook her head. "Okay, here's what I want you to do. I want you to try to make friends! Now, you already have one, so-"

"I do?" She asked, looking completely confused.

"Duh silly! I'm your friend. But I want you to talk to your roommates, try to make more. Okay?" She nodded, looking considerably happier. "Good. Now, you're in Gryffindor. So I know your brave, I want you to pick a girl from your dorm, and go up and start talking to her, okay?" She nodded, a smile coming over her face. I watched her look around, then she pointed to another little girl, who's head was down and she too was sitting by herself. Was I that shy as a first year? I hope not!

Anywho, she turned back to me with a smile. "That's Layla! I'll go talk to her!" The little girl smiled, hopping off her seat. She hugged me with a huge smile. "Thanks Gracie!" Then took off towards the little girl.

"Wait!" I called, confused. She spun around to face me, so I continued. "How'd you know my name?" She giggled, pointing at Harry.

"Harry Potter and Gracie Black. Everyone knows you two!" Then she took off, leaving me sitting there stunned. And I don't even know the poor kids name! Shaking my head, I turned back to my plate, which someone had already filled.

"Thanks!" I said, turning to Harry with a smile. He just nodded, staring at me. When I looked around, they all were. What the heck? "What?" I asked, but somehow it came out defensive. Mione opened her mouth to say something, but didn't get a chance. The hall doors burst open and everything got quiet.

I spun around, not sure why that would happen. Mad-eye Moody! I haven't seen him in ages! He came to the burrow once, Arthur talks about him all the time! He seems so cool! He hobbled up to the teachers table, peg leg and all. I feel bad for him, but at the same time, I know he hates pity from the stories I've heard.

I also heard he really did go mad.

Wonder if that's true? Gradually, the noise started up in the hall again. The teachers continued to pass out schedules and everyone continued eating. Casting a glance down the row, I saw the little girl and her new friend, chattering animatedly and wearing huge smiles.

"Gracie? Did you ever babysit?" Mione asked, still staring at me.

"Sure." I shrugged. I ignored the look from Ron. "Three red heads named Fred, George, and Ronald Weasley." I smirked, taking a drink of my pumpkin juice. "Why?"

"You're really good with kids!" She smiled, stealing a glance at Harry. I blushed furiously, glaring at her.

"Thanks. I love little kids. They're so cute!" I sighed, letting the smile form my face. I ate my toast quickly, pushing away my plate. "Anyway, looks like we have Mad-Eye first! I say we roll!"

"What's so great about him?" Harry asked, but it wasn't like a bitter thing, it was like an honestly curious thing.

"He's an auror!" I smiled, looking up at him.

"Ex auror!" Ron said, just having to put in his two cents. I rolled my eyes, ignoring that comment.

"He Was a really good auror! He stopped a lot of bad people. That's what I want to be! An auror!" I sighed, kind of going off in my own little world for a bit.

"No!" Ron snapped, shooting me deathly glares. "I told you you aren't becoming an auror! It's dangerous!"

"Oh come off it Ron! I want to be an auror. And I'd have to be good to make it anyway! They don't let just anybody in there!" I glared, grabbing my bag to stand up. The rest started grabbing their things too. On our way out, I caught Mad-Eye staring, but not at Harry, at me. It was kind of creepy. I shook it off, walking out the doors and towards his classroom.

"Sit beside me?" Harry asked, smiling down at me. I nodded, dropping my books on the same table. Professor Moody came in a moment later.

"Put your wands away!" He went on, talking about constant vigilance and so forth. I clung to every word, not wanting to miss anything. Moody is an amazing auror and I could really learn a lot this year! "So, who can name the three unforgivable curses?" He looked around, and stopped when he met my eyes, smirking. "Black! I know your familiar with one?"

"The cruciatus curse!" I spit, narrowing my eyes. Flashbacks surrounded me, but I shook my head, wiping them away.

"Very good," his lip curled, giving him a creepy effect. He pulled a spider out of a jar, placing it on the table. "Crucio!" I watched, not being able to block the memories this time. To my right, I registered Neville, crying and shaking.

"Stop!" Nat screamed, but he didn't. The spider lay there twitching and writhing. I thought he was going to torture it to death, but Mione intervened.

"Stop it! Can't you see your scaring them!"

"I'm not scared." I whispered, my eyes never leaving the spider as he put it back in the jar. Draco stood up, finally catching my attention.

"I hear Gracie doesn't scream during the cruciatus curse. I hear she can't stand up and fight back. I say you try it on her!" He smirked, glaring at me. Harry stood up, looking quite angry.

"That's illegal Malfoy!" He snarled, his fist clenching by his side. I grabbed his hand, pulling him back down.

"All in favor?" Malfoy asked, still smirking. All the Slytherins and Moody raised their hands. "All not in favor?" The Gryffindors raised their hands, but there were more Slytherins and they had the Professor. "Then it's settled, unless, you are scared?" He smirked, glaring at me.

"Gracie don't!" Ron said, standing up at the same time I did. I shot him a look. "We're done for. I know that look!" He groaned, sitting back down. I glanced over at Neville, who looked like he was going to cry.

"Don't worry Neville. I'll be fine." I smiled, patting his shoulder as I made my way to the front.

"Crucio!" I felt the familiar pain. I heard the Slytherins laughing as I squirmed in pain, falling to my knees. I heard Mione sobbing, and Nat yelling. My hand felt like it was on fire, there were a series of cracks and snaps. Brilliant. Bloody brilliant!

"What kind of teacher are you?" She shrieked, watching me in horror. Breathe! Just breathe Gracie! I looked over at Harry, and the pain in his eyes was all I needed. Cheesy right? I took a few deep breathes, pushing myself up. You know, I have horrible luck! I'm really getting tired of this! I stumbled a bit, but otherwise made it. Pulling my wand, I casted protego, cutting off the pain. Sighing in relief, I stood there, not moving. Applaud broke out over the room, but I ignored it, walking over to my seat. I collapsed in the chair, leaning on Harry.

"Very good!" Moody smirked, his fake eye was even focused on me. Creepy. "Now, another unforgivable curse? Weasley?"

"Uhm, the imperious curse."

"Correct. You'd know all about that one wouldn't you? Your father being with the ministry and all. Gave them quite the trouble a few years back!" He pulled out another smile. "Imperio!" The spider hopped up, dancing around the desk. When he was finished with that, he pulled out the last spider. "The last one? Potter?" Harry didn't answer, he was still looking down at me. More my hand. I looked down at it myself, checking to see how it was doing. It was swollen and bruised. Nasty bruised and oddly shaped. Maybe I should go to the hospital wing?

"Sir?" Mione sniffled, raising her hand a bit. "The last curse would be the killing curse, wouldn't it?"

"Pft. I suppose you'll use that one on a student too, won't you?"

Can I tell you how much I love my cousin?

"Avada Kedavra!" He yelled, green light flashed, and the spider was instantly dead. I shivered, scooting closer to Harry, who wrapped a protective arm around my waist. "There has only ever been one survivor of the killing curse. And he's sitting in this room!"

Everyone turned to look at Harry. Everything was creepy quiet, then the bell rang. Thank Merlin! I don't know one person who didn't make a mad dash for the door.

I cradled my hand to my body, walking away from the room. Mione was trying to comfort Neville, who was pale and shaky. "I'm going to get this fixed," I muttered, trying not to let the tears fill my eyes. They all nodded, glaring at the door. On my way away from the group, I heard Moody call Neville over, book in hand.

Pft. Good luck Neville.
