Read at the bottom please!!!!
"Turn to page 394!" Snape bellowed, closing all the windows and ultimately making the room seem cold. Harry and I groaned in unison, earning giggles around the class. Especially Nat and Ron. "Problem?" Snape hissed, coming up behind the two of us.
"No sir!" We chorused, earning more giggles. I wanted to groan again, but stopped myself, and I was glad I did. Because Harry did.
"Page three hundred, and ninety-four!" He glared, speaking slowly like we were a bunch of idiots. As if. Wait, werewolves? No! He's doing this on purpose! I glared at him, when he noticed, he smirked, raising an eyebrow, like he was daring me to say something. I pasted on a smile, raising my hands.
"Black?"
"Sir, we've just started on redcaps and hinkiepunks, we're not meant to start nocturnal," I struggled on the word 'beast', clenching me teeth while I said it. "beasts, for months?"
"Page three hundred and ninety four!" He smirked, waving his wand at Ron, who was flipping his pages lazily. He started a lecture on werewolves, but Harry and I sat and whispered, giggling at each other. Then, a paper ball hit Harry's head, when he opened it, it showed Harry getting struck by lightening on a broom. Quidditch tomorrow. Second match. Hopefully there won't be any dementor attacks this time!
We looked over to see who sent it. Of course it's Malfoy. We glared darkly at him, I went so far as to show him my finger. Harry turned to me in surprise. "Did you really just do that?" I nodded, giggling. "I love you!" He smiled, kissing my cheek. He laced our fingers together under the table.
"I love you too!" I giggled, my face heating up with a blush. We heard Snape announce an essay on werewolves and moaned with the rest of the class, all of us glaring at him.
"Gee, wonder what it's like to be the most hated person in school?"
Harry laughed. "Besides Malfoy!"
*******************************************
"Gryffindor won! We won!" We all cheered, skipping around the common room. Fred and George threw a party since we won the cup, and Dad and Maxie got invited. They were a hit, everyone loves them! I have a cool Dad, and a better hopefully maybe step mum?
Harry and I danced together, not really touching, but still dancing together. "I'll be back. I'm going to get a drink!" I giggled, walking towards the table. On my way, I passed Fred and Nat, grinding shamelessly in the corner. As I went to take a sip, someone touched my arse.
I spun around, swinging a punch at whoever it was' nose. I know Harry wouldn't do something like that! It was Seamus, who was clutching at his nose, blood pouring, and his eyes glazed over. "You foul git! How dare you touch me!" I screamed, pouring my drink over his head. The whole room was watching in silence, the music had stopped and some people stepped back, creating a ring around us. Harry and the twins, along with Nat, Mione, Ginny, Dad and Maxie all came to my side. Harry wrapped his arm around my waist protectively.
"What happened?" He growled, glaring down at Seamus.
"Nothing Harry. I've got it!" I glared, aiming a kick at his family jewels. I watched in satisfaction as he made a grunting noise. "Keep your hands to yourself! Pig!"
"I saw what happened Harry! Gracie that was a brilliant punch! Can you teach me how to do that?" Colin asked, shifting eagerly from foot to foot. I groaned while Harry urged him to tell all of them what happened.

"Well, he sort of touched Gracie," he accented the word 'touched', pausing. Harry aimed a kick at Seamus, but Ron grabbed him, holding him back.
"Wait one minute Harry. Just one. Then I'll help!" He roared, glaring at Seamus. "Go on then Colin!"
"Well Gracie swung around, punched him right in the nose. A wicked punch! Perfect shot!" He beamed, winking at me. Harry's grip tightened possessively around me, pushing me behind him a bit. "She called him a git and yelled at him and then poured her drink over her head!" He laughed, clutching at his sides. Harry nodded at Colin, giving him a small 'thanks'. He then pulled me away from Seamus, passing me to the boys behind me, I was being tugged between my brothers, my sisters, and my parents.
I just watched as Harry grabbed Seamus by the shirt collar, glaring, but looking him straight in the eye. "I meant it when I told you you couldn't ask her out Finnigan. And you sure as hell can't touch her!" He yelled, throwing him to the floor. "Stay away from Gracie. Or you will regret it!"
Harry walked back over, grabbing me by the waist and pulling me toward the portrait hole, people behind us whistled and clapped. Is this bad? I couldn't help but feel a bit of pride, he did that for me! He was sticking up for me! I sunk into his side, letting him pull me along a corridor. I pulled him to a stop outside an empty classroom, spinning him around to face me. "Thanks Harry!" I pushed myself up on my tip toes, kissing his cheek.
He smiled, and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me in for a kiss. I smiled against it, wrapping my fingers in his hair, deepening the kiss. It turned into a full on snog seconds later. It feels so good, growing up, not having people judge us for snogging. I mean, it's not like we do this often, but that makes it all the better when we do.
"Anytime love!" He smiled, hugging me tight against him. We sat on a desk, holding hands. He played with our fingers, not saying anything for a minute. "Gracie?"
"Hm?"
"How did you know it wasn't me? Why did you jump at the chance to punch him?" He asked, looking up finally. I smiled, kissing his cheek.
"Because you wouldn't do anything that you know makes me uncomfortable. I knew you wouldn't do something like that!" I smiled, laying my head on his shoulder. His smiled widened, and he kissed the top of my head.
"Glad you know that!" He smiled, hugging me tight. We stayed there for a while, just talking and having fun.
"Harry! Stop!" I laughed, running around the desks. He was chasing me, laughing hysterically. We ran in circles, laughing and giggling. And then he disappeared. "No fair! Cheater!"
"Gotcha!" He caught me by the waist, tackling me to the ground. But he moved so he took the brunt of the fall, like you read about in all the books. I lay on top of him while he gripped my waist. "I love you!"
"I love you too!"
I kissed his lips quickly, pushing myself down gently to hug him.
*******************************************
"Maxie! You get to spend Christmas with us?" I squealed jumping up and down. She nodded, cheering with me. We were at the station, but as we walked out, the Dursley's showed up, glaring at all of us. I narrowed my eyes, crossing my arms, and I stepped in front of Harry.

"Wheres the boy?"
"Why do you care?" I sneered, eyeing Dudley with disgust.
"We know he did it! He did this to our Dudleykins!" Petunia screeched, motioning to Dudley, who, upon closer inspection, had a tongue that was swollen to twice the normal size. "It came in a package from an owl yesterday!"
I turned to look at Harry. "Fred and George!" We chorused, snickering. I shoved past them, looked around to make sure no one was watching and reversed it. They watched as his tongue shrunk. I looked away because he was gross enough the way he is.
They stomped out with out another word. "Weird!" I scoffed, turning back to Dad. He laughed, grabbing Harry's arm, who took mine, and I took Maxie's. There was a weird feeling like I was being pulled and squeezed at the same time. It made me feel kind of sick, but I survived.
When we got to Grimmauld Place, I pulled Harry up into my room, making him sit on Nat's bed. She decided to spend her Christmas with Fred, and he would spend next Christmas here. I say they need to get hitched. They already act like it. But then again she's thirteen, and so am I. But all well.
"Are you excited for Christmas?" I asked, smiling at Harry. He rolled his eyes, but nodded anyway.
"Yeah. Since I moved in with you and Sirius life's gotten a whole lot better! The run in with the Dursley's was weird though. Didn't expect that!" He sighed, running a hand through his hair.
"Neither did I. That was just weird. I'm glad you're happy here and you don't have to live with them. If that was Lilly's sister, I wonder if she was adopted? And Dudley was so awkward!" I giggled, running my hands through my hair, which had gotten wavier over the school year. His eyes darkened and he started scowling.
"The prat was looking at you weird. I think he fancies you!" Harry grumbled, getting up and sitting beside me on my bed. I smiled at him and kissed his cheek reassuringly.
"Well he'll have to get over it because I love you as he treated you badly. So I hate him!" I said, wrinkling my nose a bit. Harry laughed, taking my hand in his. We sat there like that for a while, not doing or saying anything. That's how we were found when Maxie walked in.
"You guys okay?" She asked, stepping forward and looking worried. I nodded, smiling up at her.
"We're perfect!" I said, turning to look up at Harry. He smiled down at me, using our interlocked hands to caress my cheek. He kissed my forehead, in the background I heard a camera click, but I ignored it.
"Guys. That was just too cute! And I really hate to ruin in because that was honestly the sweetest thing I've ever seen, but your Dad says dinner is ready!" She said, smiling at us, hand over her heart. I giggled a bit while Harry answered.
"Thanks Maxie. We'll be down in a second!" He smiled, waving at her. She nodded, leaving the room and closing the door behind her. "Ready?" He stood up, facing me with a smile. I nodded standing up beside him, ugh. I don't want to walk.
"Harry?" I asked, trying not to smile. He turned to me, a smirk forming on his face. He knows what I want. Good. Makes this easier. I held my arms out like a toddler wanting to be picked up. "Carry me?" I asked, jutting my lower lip out just a lip bit. I watched his eyes soften as he walked towards me.
"Alright you win. You used the eyes!" He chuckled, picking me up to carry me.
"I did not! I didn't even think about that!" I gasped, more shocked that I didn't think to use the eyes. That's like my trademark! He laughed as we walked down the stairs. He set me on my feet outside the kitchen door, kissing my cheek. "Thank you Harry!"
"Your welcome love!" He smiled, pushing the kitchen door open. Dad and Maxie were already seated at the table, making googly eyes at each other. This, of course, pleased me to no end. Harry smiled too, but neither of us commented on the couple.
We had dinner together, that night and every night until Christmas. Harry and Dad set up mistletoe all over the house, trying to be sneaky. So far, both Maxie and I have cleverly avoided it, but in one of Dad's attempts to catch Maxie, he caught me and Maxie. So we laughed and she kissed my cheek. I hugged her and we both skipped away giggling.
Maxie an I have gotten a lot close. I tell her everything. She knows all about first year and the stone, second and the chamber, and she cried when I told her I went down there to save Ginny. I've told her everything that's happened this year too, even the things she was there for. I told her how I saw them and found that she feels the same way I do. We also wear a lot of clothes that are similar. We're all the time wearing hoodies now days, but so are Harry and Dad. It's freezing in here, no matter how many fires we start, but none of us really care.
On Christmas Eve, I sat beside Harry on the love seat, wrapped tightly in my zebra print robe, hair down around my shoulders. Maxie wore a cheetah print robe, her hair falling in the same way. I couldn't help but notice how much we truly do look alike. It was eleven thirty, and we had already eaten. We waited all day to exchange gifts, and now it's time.
Dad went first, opening his presents that is. Everyone wanted someone else to ope theirs first, so we decided to do a drawing, and Dad was first. I got him a hoodie with the words, 'Messes Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs' on the back. He loved it, long story short. And I'm glad he did. Harry got him a new watch because he's been complaining all week about his being broken, and Maxie's gift was a surprise for later apparently. Nat got him a shirt saying '#1 Uncle!' on the front and picture of the two of them on the back. He laughed, smiling at me.
Maxie gave me a scrapbook, it was filled with pictures I hadn't know she'd taken. On the cover, was the picture of Harry and I in the room the other day, when he kissed my forehead and we sat there staring and smiling at each other. It was truly a perfect picture. Harry got me a locket, on one side, it had Dad, Maxie, Nate and I, on the other, a picture of Harry and I. The words 'I love you' were carved on the back.
Both brought tears to my eyes, and I smiled, hugging Maxie tightly and kissing Harry, only for a minute though, that would be awkward. I mean, my dad is sitting on the couch beside me.
Speaking of Dad, he bought me a firebolt! Yeah, the amazing broom! That firebolt, and Harry too! He says we can try them out tomorrow and I'm so excited. I got Harry a pin, one that protects from all sorts of things. Mione had showed it to me in a catalogue one day and I liked it. It was in the shape of a snitch though, that way it won't look girly. Maxie got Harry a cologne, smiling sheepishly.
"I'm not good with presents!" She laughed, rubbing the back of her neck nervously. I rolled my eyes, hugging my scrapbook to my chest. I was wearing my locket and my firebolt was leaning against the couch beside me. We all got books from Mione, Ginny sent me a really pretty ring, similar to the one I'd gotten her, Harry and Sirius some sort of bracelet and Maxie a charm bracelet with a charm representing each of us kids and Dad. Ron got everyone sweets and Harry and I received letters from Nat saying she'd give us ours in person. Then the traditional joke stuff from Fred as George. It was all perfect, and then it was Maxie's turn. I got her a bracelet as well, but this was a picture bracelet. It had a big picture of her and Dad, then little ones of different things. Them in dog form, she and I, Harry and I, Dad and I, Nat and Dad, Dad, her and I, her grandmother, and one of everybody together. She liked it a lot, and I'm glad.
Harry got her a perfume, which made all of us laugh because their gifts sort of matched. And lastly, it was Dad's turn. I was sitting on the edge of my seat, waiting to see what he got her. Even Harry was curious, watching closely. Dad stood up, took her hand, and pulled her up too.
When he got down on one knee, I understood why he was so dressed up, and why he seemed so nervous.
"Maxie McGonagall. I know this seems very fast, but I've never felt the way I feel about anyone but you. I love you Maxie. You mean the world to me. Your right up there with my daughter, niece, and godson in my heart. Your easily the most beautiful woman I've ever seen, inside and out. You make me smile and you make my daughter smile. You love her as much as I do and that means everything to me. I know this isn't the best proposal, but I mean it with all my heart when I say I love you and I never want to live with out you. Will you marry me?"
I gasped when Dad pulled out the ring. Probably ruining the moment, but it was just so sweet! I looked at her to see her reaction. She was crying, but she looked so happy. She pulled him up and kissed him. Right in front of us. They kissed for a long time before coming up for air.
"Yes!" She squealed, hugging Dad. He spun her around, laughing and cheering. I squealed, hopping up to hug them, pulling Harry with me. We had a big group hug, and them Maxie pulled back, staring at me with a serious expression. "Will you be my maid of honor?"
Shocked, I couldn't speak. I nodded mutely, a smile forming on my face. We squealed hugging each other again. I faintly heard Dad ask Harry to be his best man and squealed more when Harry said yes. After about ten more minutes of squealing, Maxie turned to Dad with a sly smile. "It's time for your present!" He smirked as she took his hand, leading him upstairs. I laughed, watching them go.
Harry and I walked towards the kitchen, aiming on getting some ice cream. As we walked into the doorway, the clock chimed midnight, so, pulling us to a stop, I turned to Harry. "Merry Christmas Harry!"
"Merry Christmas Gracie!" He smirked, stepping closer. Getting an instinctual feeling, I looked up. Mistletoe. I turned back to Harry with a smile, and grabbed his shirt collar, pulling him closer, his hands flew to my hips. We snogged for a bit before I pulled away. Walking into the kitchen and putting a little extra sway into my hips like I'd seen Maxie do.
There was only one thing running through my mind.
I love mistletoe!

Okay so this isn't a long note, I just have a question for you guys. Now, I know this is a while off, but it's still important because an idea hit me, but I'm not sure.
When they go hunting for horcruxes, five people is a bit much. I was thinking about keeping Gracie at Hogwarts. I would switch between her point of few of what's happening at Hogwarts and Harry's about what's happening on the horcruxe hunt. I can write it either way, but I really want your guys' opinion. So, leave me some comments, please???? Thanks guys,!!!
Love,
Piper
