《A Harry Potter Love Story: Gracie Style *Completed*》Chapter 6

"Seeker?! And chaser!?" Ron gaped at the two of us, with a mouth full of food I must say!! Gross. I had already explained to Harry who was now quite thrilled. He's been going on about the individual practice tomorrow. Even though I'm going. Still.
"So little sister," Fred began.
"Decided to go our team eh?" George finished and that twinny way. It was freaky at first, but you get used to it.
"Yep. Think you can handle me?" I asked, wiggling my eyebrows. They laughed, but then turned serious.
"Try to stay near one of us in the matches. Please Gracie?" They chorused. I rolled my eyes, protective gits. Though I'm glad they care.
"I'll be fine! I know you guys have got my back! Besides, the first match I'll be fine! You don't have to worry till the second!" I shrugged, turning back to my food.
"Why is that dear sister?" Georgie asked, sitting beside me. I rolled my eyes again, I mean it's obvious.
"Who really expects anything from a first year? I mean, they'll be shocked enough I even made the team. Sure they'll watch me, but they won't Truly know what I'm capable of until the second match!" I shrugged again, continuing to eat my dinner like it was nothing while the twins stared at me in awe. Along with Ron and Harry. Hermione looked at them with a smug looked, she winked at me, which made me laugh.
"Bloody brilliant!" They chorused again. I laughed, shoved my plate in front of me, and stood up.
"Night guys!" I waved at everyone before heading out of the hall. I climbed the stairs to our dormitory after going through the common room. I had eight letters laying on my bed. Wow. Eight?
I read Charlie's first.
Dear Gracie,
Way to go! I'm proud of you little sis. I might just come to the first match! *hint hint*
Love,
Charlie
I laughed and ripped open Bill's.
Dear Gracie,
That's brilliant! Be careful won't you? I think we're all coming to the first match. (Don't let Charlie fool you, we're all happy for you!) See you soon!

Love,
Bill
I rolled my eyes then opened Uncle Lupin's.
Dear Gracie,
I'm so proud of you! I can't wait till the first match! You'll do great! How's school going? I'd ask if you made friends, but you had to have. Your friend Harry? As in Potter?
Halloweens coming and Christmas will be here before you know it! Molly said you could visit with me for holiday if you like? Let me know!
Love you lots,
Uncle Lupin
P.S. Congratulations on Gryffindor!
Holiday with Uncle Lupin? I'll have to think about it. I moved on to Dads.
Dear Gracie,
We're all so proud of you! We can't wait to see you play! Have fun and be safe!
Love,
Dad
I rolled my eyes, but smile. I like getting letters, I miss my family a lot and I love that they care enough to write and come to the match. I always feel loved with them. I moved on to Mum's letters.
Dear Gracie,
We're so proud of you sweetheart! I'm sure you've heard a thousand time, but we're all coming to the match! You'll be brilliant!
Love,
Mum
Dear Gracie,
I'm glad your making friends! I'm glad the twins had are looking after you! They better keep at it. What's this about an argument with Ron? And you should invite Hermione over this summer! Everyone misses you bunches!
Oh! I got a letter from Percy. He says your doing great and the teachers love you! He said Snape docked you points? What on earth for? Write soon!
Love,
Your Mum
Gee thanks Percy! Out of all my brothers, I can't stand him the most. He's a git.
Dear Gracie,
Wait till I get there! The team will be stacked of Weasleys! The twin beaters, and the should have been twin chasers! It'll be brilliant! Mum says we're going to the match! I can't wait! I'll get to see Hogwarts and Dumbledore says I can stay over night with you in your dorm! If that's okay.....
Love,
Ginny
Dear Gracie,
I'm so glad you wrote! And I'm glad your still confiding in me! I saw him at the train station! He was cute! And you blushed!

I also saw how he looked at you! He liked you off the back Gracie. Trust me. You were spaced out and everything and he went right up to you.
Even if he is Ron's best mate, if you like him, don't let that stop you. And if Harry liked you he wouldn't lie it stop him either. And Ron wouldn't try to stop it if he was a good brother. He's be protective and watch, but he'd want you to be happy! Keep that in mind.
I'm glad you've made friends and I'm glad your having fun! I'm honestly shocked you got points docked! That's so not you! I like it! Don't tell Mum!
Love,
Ginny.
Hermione walked in as soon as I finished. "Hey! Wanna come down to the common room? The boys are down there. And it's just us three. I'm kind of out of place, if you know what I mean," I nodded and walked towards the door.
"Gracie!" Ron cheered as I got near the bottom. I waved a hello. "Cheer Harry up! Fred and George scared him!" I looked at Harry who was a bit peaky. I went over and sat beside him. I poked him in the side. He didn't respond. So I scooted closer, I was almost on top of him now. I poked him again.
"Harry!"no whined, poking him again. He sighed and looked at me. He looked annoyed, but I saw a glint in his eye. One I did now care for. "Harry?" I asked, slower this time. He smirked, before leaping at me. We fell o the couch, him on top of me, he began tickling me like mad.
Hermione laughed a bit and Ron grinned, but looked a bit concerned. What's that about? I finally shoved Harry off and sat up, panting a bit. Harry sat beside me on the couch, I curled up in a ball beside him, resting my head on his shoulder. Hermione leaned against Ron. Harry put his arm around my shoulder, and I fell asleep.
***********Harry's POV****************
I was staring at Gracie. Sometime during Ron and I's talk, she had shifted so she was laying down with her head in my lap. She looked so pretty.
"Oi!" Ron grunted, waving his hand in front of my face. "Quit staring at my sister!" He snapped. I blushed and looked away.
"Sorry mate. What were you talking bout?"
"You fancy her don't you?" He asked, crossing his arms in my direction.
"No!" But I said it to quick. Ron knew.
"You fancy Gracie!" He yelled, pointing at me.
"Shut up you git! You'll wake her up!" I hissed, looking down at her. Her face was screwed up and her body had tensed. I pushed a bit of hair put of her face as I looked at her.
"What's this about you fancying out sister!" Fred an George clamped a hand on each of my shoulders no groaned at their words. Where did they even come from?
"I don't fancy her!" I snapped, pulling my hands away from her.
"Sure looked like it a minute ago!" They smirked and started that thing that they do where they talk at the same time. I rolled my eyes.
"I'm going to bed. Night!" I was getting ready to stand up when I realized something. That's not happening!
"Have fun on the couch mate!" They patted my head and ran upstairs. I sighed and looked at Ron for help. He looked confused and I looked down to see Hermione in his lap. Ha!
"You fancy Hermione!" I said, smugness dripped from my voice. He shook his head but his ears were red, so I knew he was lying.
"Looks like we're stuck here!" He whispered, looking at Hermione. I nodded, then at back, making myself comfortable. Gracie started squirming when I moved. She sat up and scooted on to my lap, I felt my face grow red as I snapped my eyes to Ron, silently begging for help. She wrapped her arms around my neck and snuggled closer to me, Ron nearly wet himself he was laughing so hard. It's going to be a long night.
