《Saving Gracie | ✓》Chapter Twenty Two: Just One More Kiss.

I grab onto Luke's hand as we begin to walk out of the school building. Before we walk down the stairs through, Luke grabs my waist and pushes me against the railing, his lips touching mine.
When he pulls away, I let out a chuckle. "What was that for?" I ask and Luke twirls a strand of my hair around his finger.
"Your lips are addicting, I couldn't help it." Luke grins and I find myself blushing at his words. I grab his hand and drag him down the stairs as we walk towards his car.
When we are both in the car, Luke starts the car and reverses out of the parking lot, driving towards the direction of my house.
"How is your jaw?" I ask Luke as I glance as his face to see a light circle were the bruise was.
"Oh you know, just painful." Luke says and I nod.
"How is your head?" Luke asks and I grin at him.
"Oh you know, just painful." I chuckle and Luke rolls his eyes.
"Enough with the jokes. I want to know how your feeling." Luke says as he stops at a red light and I shrug.
"Nah, it's okay, I guess." I say and Luke nods.
"Thats all you had to say." Luke says and after a few seconds of silence, I begin to talk.
"So when are we going to see these friends of yours?" I ask and Luke begins to drive when the light turns green.
"Tomorrow after school." Luke says and I nod. I can't help but begin to think about Luke's friends.
Are the scary? Are the dangerous? Why haven't I seen them in school before?
My thoughts are cut short when I feel the car stop. I look over at Luke, about to thank him for giving me a ride home but his lips touch mine, making me forget about everything for a few short seconds.

Luke's hand touches my cheek and I lean into it as Luke deepens the kiss. As I move closer, Luke decides to pick me up and sit me down on his legs, making my heart race.
When we pull away, I lean my forehead against his, our breaths mixing. I close my eyes and try to regain my breath but a knock on the window makes me jump and open my eyes.
Eve stands at the window, a small smile on her face. She motions for us to roll down the window and Luke does as he is told.
"Hey Eve." I say, a blush creeping up on my cheeks as I realise that I've just been caught kissing the guy who I was ignoring only just yesterday. Eve smiles and looks over at Luke.
"I would say that I am disappointed in you making Grace feel like crap but when I saw the heated scene a few seconds ago, I'll let that slide since I am happy for the both of you. Have you made up?" Eve asks and Luke nods.
"Yeah, she forgave me." Luke smiles at me and I look away, trying to hide my smile. Eve taps my shoulder and I look at her.
"I want you to meet someone so when your ready to come in..." Eve trails off and I nod. Eve chuckles and begins to walk off back into the house to give us some privacy.
"You two seem civil." Luke says and I nod.
"Well, I never hated Eve. I just... well, I didn't give her a chance to explain." I say and Luke nods.
"Well, I don't want to be the reason why your guest gets all impatient so I'll leave you to it." Luke says and I nod. I press my lips to his, my eyes slipping shut as I feel myself getting lost into the kiss.

Luke pulls away and grins at me, tapping my nose. "See you tomorrow, Gracie." Luke says and I chuckle.
"Just one more kiss." I say as I connect my lips with his once more but only for a few seconds this time before I pull away. I open the car door and before I get out, I peck his cheek.
"Please don't hurt me again." I say and Luke smiles at me before pressing his lips on mine for two seconds. He pulls away and rests his hand on my thigh.
"I promise not to." Luke says, holding out his pinky and I smile, commenting my pinky with his. He smiles and I get off his legs, standing on the concrete. I shut Luke's door and send him a wave before making my way to my door.
"Goodbye, Gracie." Luke says and I roll my eyes and smile at him as he begins to drive off. I chuckle to myself and hold the door handle, thinking about everything that has happened today.
Wow, I never thought that I would be back with Luke again and I never thought I would be in my first fight today.
Yep, today has been weird. Let's just hope that whoever is behind that door is not going to make my day any weirder.
I push the door open and before I can even process what is happening, my eyes widen and I feel my heart drop as the girl stares at me with a small grin on her face. Her red hair sits on her shoulders and her piercing green eyes stare into mine, a hint of mischief in them as she looks me over.
No, no, please don't tell me-
Eve smiles and walks over to me, her arm slinging around my shoulder. "Grace, I would like to introduce you to my daughter." Eve says and my hands begin to shake.
"Nice to see you again, Grace." Eve's daughter smirks as she holds out her hand and I just look at it, not wanting to be anywhere near this person but I say two words which make Eve looks at me with confusion clear on her face.
"Hello, Amy."
