"Hey thanks for meeting up." Bruno said as Becky and Seth sat down at the table with him and Frank.
"Is something going on?" Seth asked.
"Sorry we're am late." Peter said coming up with Hunter.
"What's going on?" Becky asked.
"I asked everyone to come together because there has been some developments and I need all sides to be aware." Peter said. "As you know I've been watching and waiting to see if the Sullivan's would go the legal route to get to Gracie."
"Have they filed?" Seth asked.
"They filed last Friday in Nashville where you adopted Gracie." Peter said. "However Bruno has been digging into the Sullivan's as you know."
"Did you find something?" Becky asked.
"Lots." Bruno said. "The judge they filed with is an old friend of theirs."
"Which allowed me file to have the case heard by a new judge Monday." Peter said. "At first it was denied, but I showed up in Nashville and talked to the Supreme Court Judge with the evidence and they stepped in and took the case from the judge sighting a bias. Now this upset the Sullivan's."
"So are we going to court?" Becky asked.
"That is what I thought but they withdrew the petition on Friday." Peter said.
"So what now?" Seth asked.
"From what we can gather they are circling the wagons." Bruno said. "Arnold and Elizabeth have gone into seclusion."
"Do you know what they were asking for from the courts?" Hunter asked.
"They petitioned to reverse the adoption and for sole custody." Peter said.
"Now Frank said you sent them a letter." Bruno said.
"Yes, I wanted to let Elizabeth know Gracie loved all the things she gave me that were McKenna's and how I hoped maybe when Gracie was a bit older she'd want to meet them, that I would never close the door for that." Becky said.
"I checked the letter, there were no promises for anything like visits or updates." Frank said.
"Well with them circling the wagon and keeping things under wraps we are upping security." Bruno said.
"Do you think they are planning something?" Seth asked as he felt Becky shake next to him.
"With guys like Arnold Sullivan when things don't go their way they have been known to go to extreme lengths." Bruno said.
"We are going to all we can to protect her." Seth said.
Becky nodded but was scared out of her mind thinking someone wanted to take her baby.
"We'll do what we have to do." Becky said.
"As will we?" Bruno said.
Back at the hotel they found Gracie playing dress up with Jen's make up on Josh.
"Isn't he pretty daddy?" Gracie asked.
"Just beautiful." Seth said making everyone laugh.
"You did great baby." Becky said. "Megan and Jenny would be proud."
"Can we take a picture and show them?" Gracie said.
"Sounds like a good idea." Becky said. "Go stand with your client."
Gracie stood next to Josh who playfully posed for some pictures.
"If I find those on Instagram I know who to blame." Josh said.
"Come on let's go wash you up while these two help Gracie clean up here." Jen said.
Josh and Jen headed into the bathroom and they cleaned up the make up.

"Mommy where did you and daddy go?" Gracie asked.
"We had a meeting." Becky said. "Boring adult things."
"Oh." Gracie said. "Can we have veggie burgers for dinner?"
"That sounds perfect." Becky said.
Gracie smiled and everyone ordered the burger they wanted and they had fun hanging out.
"Looks like it's me and you." Jen said when Becky and Seth with Josh headed to the gym.
"Good, because a I need your help." Gracie said.
"My help?" Jen asked.
"Yes, see next Thursday is mommy's birthday and I made this drawing I want to get out in a shirt and hat for her." Gracie said. "Like I did when they did survivor series."
"Okay, then we better hit the mall." Jen said, "maybe you can help me find her a present."
"I can." Gracie said smiling.
After getting what they needed they headed into the hall.
"Frank." Gracie said.
"Good morning, are we heading out?" Frank asked.
"Yes, we need to make a trip to the mall." Jen said.
"Okay." Frank said. "We have a car that can take you over."
Jen nodded and they headed to the mall with Frank and a couple other guards.
Frank and another guard fallowed them around while one stayed with the car.
"Welcome to Prints I am Jody." A lady said when they came in. "Can I help you?"
"Gracie wants to make a shirt and hat for her mom's birthday." Jen said.
"I made the art on my iPad." Gracie said.
"Well let's hook it up over here and see what you like, we offer many styles and things to print on." Jody said.
They hooked the iPad up and Gracie showed them the artwork she had made.
"That looks amazing." Jody said.
"Becky is going to love it." Jen said.
Jody showed them the different shirts they had and Gracie found a long sleeve, a tee and a tank she wanted to have the art work on. She found a hat she liked and loved the leggings and sweat pants so got them as well.
"I can have these done in about two hour." Jody said.
"Okay, we will walk around the mall and check in later." Jen said placing the iPad into her bag.
"Some looks lost in thought." Jen said as they sat sipping their smoothies.
"Aunt Jen, how come there are more people fallowing us now?" Gracie asked.
"What do you mean?" Jen asked. "We have Frank and Lars."
"But there is that man over there in the green hat." Gracie said and Jen looked over just as the man looked away. "And that man with the blonde hair, he was taking my picture."
"Frank." Jen called.
"Is there an issue?" Frank asked coming over.
"Gracie noticed the man in the green hair and the blonde taking pictures fallowing us." Jen said. "She is worried."
"I noticed them too." Frank said. "You have a great sense of awareness."
"Are they bad people?" Gracie asked.
"I think they are just curious because you are your mommy and daddy's daughter." Frank said.
"So they are fans?" Gracie asked.
"It would seem so." Frank said. "Do you know how much longer we'll be?"
"Let's go check in a print." Jen said.

"Yeah, I wanna go back to my mommy and daddy." Gracie said.
She slipped her mask back on and they walked back to the store.
"I have your order here." Jody said showing them.
"Mommy is going to love it." Gracie said.
Josh bagged up the order and Gracie handed over her cash and they headed back to the hotel.
"Why don't we stick these in my room so mommy doesn't find them and peak." Jen said.
"Yeah." Gracie said.
After dropping their things off they headed across the hall to their room.
"Mommy." Gracie said running in and throwing herself at Becky.
"Their's my sweet luv." Becky said catching her. "Where did you two get off too?"
"A surprise." Gracie said.
"We did some shopping at the mall." Jen said.
"Look, I find some cute laces." Gracie said showing her the clover laces.
"Beautiful." Becky said.
"Where is my daddy?" Gracie asked.
"I'm right here." Seth said coming in with Josh.
"Daddy." She called reaching for him.
Seth smiled and came over and picked her up.
"Hey." Josh said greeting Jen. "Did you two eat without us?"
"No, we had a smoothie." Jen said. "Gracie wasn't to hungry."
"Not hungry sweet girl?" Seth asked sitting next to Becky.
"There were some "fans" fallowing us at the mall." Jen said quietly doing air quotes. "She was worried when she noticed them fallowing us."
"I see." Seth said. "Some fans are weird and they fallow us, are you okay?"
"Yeah, I just wanted you and mommy." Gracie said.
Both nodded and rubbed her back.
"Well then how about we go down to the cafe and order some lunch?" Josh said.
"I'm sleepy." Gracie said.
"How about you and Jen head out and have some time together and we'll chill out here." Becky said.
"Sounds good, call if you need us." Josh said.
They headed out and Becky ordered them lunch from room service and some fruit to try and temp Gracie to eat.
"Look at these fruits." Becky said. "They look so yummy."
"Fruit?" Gracie asked peaking over at the table.
"Yep." Becky said. "So good."
"Mommy." Gracie said.
"Why don't you come have some." Becky said.
"Daddy." Gracie said looking over at him.
"Yes?" Seth asked.
"Can you carry me to the table please?" She asked.
"Of course I can." Seth said getting up with her and moving over to the table.
They sat down and munched away on lunch.
"Cuddle?" Gracie asked Becky.
"Come on." Becky said laying her down on their big bed.
"Daddy too." Gracie said.
Seth smiled and joined them,
"You are so loved." Becky said running her hand down Gracie's face. "So very loved."
Gracie smiled and her eyes fluttered closed.
"You okay?" Seth asked taking her hand where it sat on Gracie's stomach.
"Yeah, just thinking." Becky said.
"About what?" Seth asked.
"My birthday is next week." She said.
"It is." He smiled.
"I also think I want another one." Becky said lightly touching Gracie's curls.
"You want to have a baby?" Seth asked.
"I do." Becky said.
"You know that means walking away from WWE for a while." He said.
"I know and I know it will more then likely drive me nuts but I want to start trying, I don't feel the need to wait anymore, I found my person, I know the feeling of being a mom and I want experience growing a child inside me and all that entails." Becky said.
"Okay." Seth said. "I have always said we're on your time table for all this, it's your body."
"Then we can start trying." Becky said. "See what happens."
"Okay." Seth said smiling.
"Teo, Tea." Gracie called running up to Charlotte and Andrade in the hotel lobby.
"I like your mask." Charlotte said.
"No germs." Gracie said raising her hands to Andrade who picked her up.
"No germs is good." He said. "Are you excited for tomorrow?"
"Sí." Gracie said.
"Where are your parents?" Charlotte asked.
"Killing people." Gracie said making Jen chuckle.
"Day with the Deadboys." Jen said. "We're heading over to support them."
"Sounds fun." Charlotte said.
"I cannot coach like last time because I am still recovering from being sick." Gracie said. "But AJ can cheer for them."
"Sounds like a good plan." Charlotte said. "Being evolved supporting is an important thing."
"Sí, everyone needs to be cheered on." Andrade said.
"Yep, we better go." Gracie said.
Andrade sat her down and Jen took her hand and they headed off with Frank and Lars.
The gym was busy when they arrived and both Becky and Seth were helping out so Jen found and corner for them to sit in and they sat and passed out water bottles and cheered people on.
"Okay, let's rest." Josh said. "Drink some water, our adorable water girls have plenty to hand out."
After everyone had a drink Gracie moved over to where Seth was.
"Hi my sweet girl." Seth said. "Did you have a good nap?"
"Yep." Gracie said. "Sit?"
Seth smiled and sat her on his lap.
"So how did everyone do?" Seth asked.
"Great, everyone tried their best and that is all we can ask for." Gracie said. "Everyone has different levels and different skills."
"Gracie is right." Josh said. "You all did amazing, I am so proud of the Deadboys family, the community and the love we all have."
Everyone asked questions and then they took pictures. After that they headed back to the hotel to shower and change.
"What is this?" Becky asked seeing Jen finishing Gracie's nails.
"Black and lellow for you mommy." Gracie said.
"It's yellow and perfect." Becky said.
"Thank you Aunt Jen." Gracie said.
"You are welcome." Jen said. "I am going to go check in Josh."
"Okay." Becky said. "Thanks for hanging out with her."
"My favorite person to hang out with." Jen said.
"What about Uncle Josh." Gracie asked.
"He's up there right after you." Jen said touching her nose making her smile.
"Love you Aunt Jen." Gracie said.
"I love you." Jen said.
Jen left and Gracie cuddled in Becky's lap.
"Mommy?" Gracie asked.
"Yes?" Becky asked.
"Do you think when we go home after Raw I can have a dance lesson?" Gracie asked.
"Well you have a doctors appointment Tuesday evening after we get home and if Dr. Reed clears you we can do a lesson." Becky said.
"Okay." Gracie said.
They did a quiet night in knowing tomorrow was rumble and they were going to be busy.

A Primeval Future
Follow the story of a modern caveman as he learns to survive, thrive, and shape his nascent civilization in a world yet untouched by man. Expect a focus on the nitty-gritty of primitive living, especially early on. I plan for this to eventually progressing to the settlement management and politics stage as people gravitate towards the one guy who looks like he knows what he's doing, but this will likely take some time. Despite the occasional system elements, skilling and levels will not be a part of this story. No shortcuts. There will be violence and there will be sexuality but there will be no sexual violence. I hate reading that crap and I hate writing it even more. This is my first serious foray into writing. I plan to put out at least 1 chapter a week, more when I can. Constructive criticism is very much welcomed as are ideas and suggestions! Cover image credit: "Mesolithic camp site" by Wessex Archaeology is licensed with CC BY-NC 2.0.
