"Wow." Gracie said seeing the lights as they walked through the park at Lincoln Park Zoolights.
"This is amazing." Becky said.
"And pretty." Gracie said.
Becky smiled as Gracie took in everything. Seeing how she saw the world was amazing.
"Are we going to put up lights at home?" Gracie said.
"We can." Seth said. "Maybe not this many but we can do some."
"Okay." Gracie said.
"How about some cocoa?" Josh asked.
"Yes." Gracie said.
Josh took her hand and walked over to the cart selling cocoa.
"I love this." Becky said.
"The lights?" Seth asked.
"That but seeing how she sees the world." Becky said.
"It's pretty cool." Seth said.
"I hope she always sees the world like this, full of hope and happiness." Becky said. "I get not everything is going to be that, but seeing the good side is amazing."
"I agree." Seth said.
"Mommy we got you one with peppermint." Gracie said.
"Thank you." Becky said taking hers.
"Daddy's is plane like Uncle Josh but I got caramel." Gracie said.
"Sounds yummy." Becky said.
They drank the cocoa and continued to explore the lights.
"Look mommy it's Aunty Charlotte." Gracie said.
"It is." Becky said.
Charlotte smiled seeing them and Becky let Gracie run over to her.
"Hi there munchkin." Charlotte said scooping her up.
"Hi." Gracie said. "Hola Andrade."
"Hola mi hermosa chica." Andrade said.
"What did you say?" Gracie asked.
"Hello my beautiful girl." Andrade said.
"He's right you are beautiful." Charlotte said. "Do you like all the lights?"
"Yes." Gracie said. "They are so pretty."
"What has been your favorite?" Charlotte asked.
"The peacocks." Gracie said.
"The girl has style." Charlotte said.
"She does." Becky said.
"You smell like cocoa." Charlotte said.
"I had caramel cocoa." Gracie said. "It was so yummy."
"Nice." Andrade said.
"These is a lot to see here." Charlotte said.
"We've been exporing for hours." Gracie said.
"Exploring for hours, sounds fun." Charlotte said.
"Yeah, but my itty bitty legs are getting tried." Gracie said.
"Small legs get tired fast." Andrade said.
"Don't we know it." Seth said. "Come here silly girl, you can ride on my shoulders.
"Yay daddy to the rescue." Gracie said reaching for him.
Charlotte handed him over and he put her up on his shoulder.
"Wow." Gracie said. "There is so much to see from up here."
"Be careful." Becky said.
"Come on, let's explore more." Gracie said.
"That is our cue." Becky said. "Enjoy the show."
Charlotte nodded and they continued to walk around and see things.
"I think she's out." Josh said looking up at Gracie who was slumped over Seth's head.
"Help me take her down." Seth said and Josh carefully moved her.
"It's okay." Josh said when her eyes popped open. "You fell asleep on your daddy's head."
"Seepy." Gracie said as Josh moved her up to his shoulder as and she feel back asleep.
"I got her." Josh said. "Give your shoulders a rest."
"Thanks." Seth said as Becky placed the new Christmas blanket they bought for her over her so she was warmer.
"She's had quite the adventure." Becky said as they began walking back towards the it hotel.
"She has." Seth said. "I am glad we got to do this."

"Me too." Becky said as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "I got a bunch of pictures so she can show everyone back home and in Ireland."
"She'll love it." Seth said.
When they reached their hotel Josh put Gracie down in her bed and Becky slipped her shoes and jacket off and covered her with her green blanket and let her sleep
"I to am going to hit the hay." Josh said. "We're hitting the gym tomorrow right?"
"Yes." Seth said. "Nine right."
"Sounds good." Becky said. "Night."
"Night." Josh said heading to his room.
"Mommy, mommy." Gracie said shaking Becky.
"Gracie what's wrong?" Becky asked sitting up in her bed and turning the light on.
"Snow." Gracie said pointing to the window.
"It did indeed snow." Becky said seeing it snow. "Looks cold and way to early to be up."
"Yeah." Gracie said. "Cuddles?"
Becky smiled and picked Gracie up and put in the bed between them and shut the light off.
"What's this?" Seth asked groggily.
"Cuddles." Gracie said.
"My favorite." Seth said as they all snuggled together falling back asleep.
"Uncle Josh, Uncle Josh it snowed." Gracie said.
"Indeed it did." Josh said. "You three ready to work out?"
"We are." Seth said. "After someone puts on her boots so we can go out."
"Okay." Gracie said running to put her boots on. "Ready."
Seth smiled and they slipped on their jackets and headed out.
"Okay baby, you got sit quietly so I can drive in the snow, I don't know if there is ice or not?" Seth said.
"Okay daddy." Gracie said and Becky took her hand and Seth drove them out of the garage.
It was a slow drive to the gym but they made it safely.
"Thank you baby." Seth said unbuckling her and lifting her out of the car.
"Your're welcome daddy." Gracie said.
"Shall we go get sweaty?" Seth asked.
"Yeah." Gracie said. "I can show Uncle Josh my new tool."
Seth nodded and grabbed his gym bag while Gracie grabbed hers and they headed inside.
"What's this?" Josh asked seeing Gracie doing kettle bell swings with Becky.
"Big Tony gave it to me." Gracie said. "I can do kettle bell swings now."
"Nice and I see he taught you good form." Josh said.
"Yep." Gracie said. "And finished."
"Good job, make sure you're drinking water." Josh said.
Gracie nodded and drank from her water bottle.
"What are they doing?" Gracie asked watching some women working with some bands.
"Looks like she is rehabbing." Josh said.
"Oh." Gracie said. "It looks fun."
"It does." Josh said as the trainer noticed them.
"Hi there, what's your name?" She asked.
"Gracie, this is Uncle Josh." Gracie said.
"Hello, Josh Gallegos." Josh said.
"Trina Kempt." She said shaking their hands.
"What is she doing?" Gracie asked.
"This is Sussy, she's a ballerina." Trina said. "She hurt her ankle and back so we're doing resistance band exercises to help her rehab, she's almost there."
"It looks fun." Gracie said.
"It's getting there." Sussy said. "At first it was hard."
"Most things we don't want to do are hard at first." Gracie said. "But if we work hard it can become fun."
"That it can." Trina said. "Would you like to learn some of the things she's doing?"

"Can I daddy?" Gracie asked Seth who had come over.
"Of course you can." Seth said.
"I'll stay with her." Josh said.
Seth nodded and went back to his work and Trina showed them some of the things Sussy was doing.
"Do you like dancing?" Gracie asked.
"I do." Sussy said. "I've been dancing since I was your age."
"Welly?" Gracie said. "I three."
"Yep, I started dancing then, it's all I can remember." Sussy said. "I love it."
"Wow." Gracie said.
"How about I show you some moves." Sussy said.
"Have fun." Trina said.
Sussy showed Gracie some beginners moves and she picked up on it quickly.
"Looks like you might be a natural." Sussy said.
"It's fun." Gracie said. "Tanks for showing me."
"You're welcome." Sussy said.
"Mommy, mommy did you see me dance?" Gracie asked as Becky came over.
"I sure did." Becky said scooping her up. "You were beautiful."
"She has a natural talent for it." Sussy said. "If she wanted to dance it could be fun for her."
"Do you like dancing?" Becky asked.
"Yes." Gracie said. "It's fun."
"We might have to look into some classes." Becky said. "Thank you."
"It was fun to goof off after rehabbing." Sussy said. "But I need to get going rehearsals for the nutcracker are starting soon."
"What is that?" Gracie asked.
"It's a ballet." Becky said. "Maybe we'll go see it once it opens."
"Okay." Gracie said.
"If you want to see it, give me a call and I can arrange it." Sussy said handing Becky a card.
"Okay." Becky said.
"See you later." Sussy said and she was off.
"Can we welly go see it?" Gracie asked.
"Of course we can." Becky said. "How about we go shower and go eat."
"Yes, I starving." Gracie said.
Becky smiled and they headed into the locker room. After showering and changing they headed out to meet Josh and Seth.
"Come on daddy I is starving." Gracie said.
"You is, is you?" Seth asked picking her up.
"Yes." Gracies said.
"We best go eat before you decided to eat me." Seth said.
"If you were a vegetable I would." Gracie said making him laugh.
After getting their things back in the car they headed to a diner for breakfast.
"Look it's Tony." Gracies said.
"Look it's my buttercup." Tony said.
"Hi." Gracie said as he picked her up.
"Come for food." Tony asked.
"Yes, we just worked out." Seth said.
"Well join us." Tony said.
Seth nodded and they sat down.
"Gracie you remember Sheamus?" Becky asked.
"Yes, hello." Gracie said.
"Hello darling." Sheamus said. "Did you work hard?"
"Yes, I did box jumps, kettle bell swings, burpees and some dancing." Gracie said. "I met a real ballerina."
"Wow." Tony said.
"She was rehabbing at the gym and Gracie saw her doing her resistant band workout." Josh said.
"Sussy taugh me some moves." Gracie said. "She said I was natural."
"A natural." Becky said. "It means you were born with a talent."
"Wow." Gracie said.
"Do you like dancing?" Seth asked.
"Yes, it's fun." Gracie said.
"We might need to get her some lessons." Becky said. "Once we're settled after the new year and home for more then here and there."
"Okay." Seth said. "If it makes her happy."
"I starving." Gracie said. "Food please."
"That's your tummy." Tony said. "I thought there was a wild creature hiding somewhere."
"She might turn into one if we don't feed her." Seth said. "What looks good?"
Waffles and bacon." Gracie said.
The waitress appeared and everyone put in their order.
"Orange juice please." Gracie said.
"Very good." The waitress said. "Would you like a color page?"
"Yes please." Gracie said.
The waitress handed over a sheet of paper and cup of crayons.
"Tank you." Gracie said.
"You're welcome, I will have this order out as soon as possible." She said walking away.
"Mommy my belly." Gracie said after she finished coloring.
"I know baby, let me see what's going on." Becky said getting up and walking over to the hostess stand.
"Excuse me." Becky said.
"Yes." She asked.
"We've been waiting about a half an hour for our food and my daughter is getting impatient." Becky said.
"Let me check." The hostess said and and Becky nodded and waited.
It took her a bit to come back.
"Sorry there was an accident in the kitchen, our cook was injured and had to be rushed to the hospital, we won't be able to put out any food at this time." The hostess said.
"I'm sorry." Becky said.
"What's going on?" Seth asked when Becky returned.
"Their cook was injured so they won't be able to out out any food." Becky said.
"Mommy?" Gracie said.
"I know you were looking forward to waffles but how about we go down the street and have pizza?" Seth said.
"Okay." Gracie said. "I so hungry."
Seth smiled and they put their coats on and headed down the street.
"Careful." Josh said scooping Gracie up as she slipped.
"Tanks Uncle Josh, it's icy." Gracie said.
"It is." Josh said as they made their way to the pizzeria.
"It smells yummy." Gracie said.
"It does." Becky said. "Five adults and one kid."
"Right this way." The owner said. "We are doing a special on our veggie lovers today."
"Yummy." Gracie said.
"We'll take two slices of that." Becky said.
"Okay and for you gents?" He asked.
"Let's do a extra large Chicago style." Seth said.
"Sounds good." The others agreed.
"Okay, I will bring things out when they are ready, for now hear are some bread sticks." He said setting down a basket.
"May I have one?" Gracie asked.
"Of course baby." Becky said handing her one.
"Tanks." Gracie said before taking a bite.
"Waiting is no fun." Seth said and Gracie shook her head.
"So what are you doing this afternoon?" Sheamus asked.
"Well after someone has a nap she has an ice skating lesson." Becky said.
"Me, me." Gracie said.
"Sounds fun." To y said.
"Navy Peir is doing a whole winter wonderland." Becky said.
"Daddy said they have rides." Gracie said.
"They do." Seth said. "It's going to be a lot of fun, our last night of freedom before we start gearing up for Survivor Series weekend."
"Are you doing NXT War Games?" Yes, going to support those fighting there." Becky said.
"Rhea is fighting with her team in the first women's wargames." Seth said.
"That has to be amazing." Sheamus said.
"It's so cool." Gracie said.
"Who's on her team?" Cesaro asked.
"Mia Yim, Candace LaRay and Teagan Knox." Becky said. "They're facing off with Shayna, Io Shirai, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir."
"Interesting." Sheamus said.
"Rhea is going to win." Gracie said.
"It's going to be a good night." Seth said.
"Okay we have two slices of vegetarian pizza and an extra large Chicago Style." The waitress said. "I let her piece cool so it was ready for her to eat."
"Thanks." Becky said as Gracie dove into her pizza. "Is it good?"
"Yes, tank you." Gracie said.
"Let's dish up." Seth said and everyone took a slice and began eating.
