Using my wings I dodge each swing from Azog's ball and chain. I slash at his arms with my katana and aim for a weak spot in his armor. He knocks me back hard with his arm making me fall to the icy ground.
Thorin surges forward in my wake doing as best he can to fight the large orc.
More minions come at us so I stand and take them down before they can touch Thorin.
I have to protect him, Azog must be finished.
I swing my blade at an orc cutting it in half and kick it right off the frozen waterfall. Below it hits a tower bridge? And knocks it to the ground.
Next to it I see Grace and Legolas.
"Grace!" I call. She shows no sign of recognition. I squint my eyes and let out a small gasp when I see Legolas lying flat on his back and blood pouring from his chest. "Oh my Valor!"
Legolas eyes widen when he sees me and hits Grace who turns. Her eyes balloon and she throws one of her daggers at me.
"What the hell?" I snap and duck just in time to see an orc fall dead behind me. Grace turns away again and presses her hands to her soulmates chest.
That wound doesn't look too god.
With renewed fury and vigor I clutch my katana tight and dash at Azog.
"You will end now!"

My world freezes when I see Legolas get stabbed.
"NO!" I screech when he falls to the ground. Grace stands frightfully still before running to him. I force myself to my feet and dash to the bridge. It collapses just before I can step in making me yell in frustration.
Legolas is like my brother I can't lose him!

Azog whips his ball and chain at Thorin. It slams into the ground and breaks the ice around us. Without thinking I slam myself into Thorin to knock him onto more solid ground.
He may have killed me but I can't lose him.
"Thank you," he whispers and I give him a heartbroken smile.
My whole life is falling to shambles around me but I can't stop I have to fight.
I roll off Thorin and onto my foot in one fluid motion to face Azog again. My heart is beating out of my chest and I pant heavily trying to catch my breath. I'm getting tired but Azog barely looks winded.
Why won't this orc just die already?!
He swings his boulder again this time getting it stuck in the ice after I jumped out of the way.
Prepared to deal the final blow I raise my katana when suddenly loud squawking fills the air. I whip my gaze upwards to check for approaching danger only to find the Eagles and Beorn have arrived. I watch in hopeful amazement as Beorn drops from an eagles back completely shifting before hitting the ground and tearing through another approaching army.

Gently Smaug lands on the ledge next to Emily. My poor sweet soul sister is sobbing over her cold soulmate.
"Emily?" I murmur and step forward. Smaug is shifting on his feet anxiously and keeps looking in the direction of the incoming army.
"He's dead," she chokes out. "He's so cold." I can tell she's heating her hands to hold against his face in desperation. She can't handle his death.
I can't handle her pain.
"Emily we need to stop the final wave," I say ever so quietly. "We need to fight."

Emily looks up at me with empty eyes.
I gently take her hand and pull her to her feet. Emily squeezes my hand and clears her throat.
"I'll burn them all to ash for this," she promises and suddenly takes off. I quickly grab onto Smaug and Jacob so we can follow.
My eyes stay on the bodies below.
So many have parted.

I frantically spin in a circle desperately searching for a way to escape this ledge. I cannot just stay still while others die. Finally I just stab my daggers into the rocks and climb up.
I manage to get to Alex and Kili who are still hanging on. Alex looks very weak and Kili is completely knocked out.
"Please Tauriel help him," Alex begs. She clinging to his life and her own. Wordlessly I nod and move to them. I hold my hand on his wounds and use all my energy to force what healing magic I have into him.
Fatigue instantaneously washes over me. I force myself to stay awake and healing.
No more can die!

The ice breaks around us making rifts between Azog, Thorin, and I.
Thorin grins, picks up Azogs boulder, and throws it to him. Azog catches it heavily masking him slip back into the water below.
I watch intensely as Azog floats beneath the ice. He's still alive.
Thorin begins to follow his floating form above the ice.
"Thorin don't!" I snap and fly to him. I give behind him and pull on his jacket. "Don't follow him. Let him die of the cold."
"I need to kill him," Thorin growls and stalks after the floating orc.
Suddenly Azogs eyes open and he just his sword arm through the ice into Thorin foot.
My stomach drops and I let out a yelp of surprise as Azog bursts through the ice wearing a victorious and sadistic smirk.
Being caught off guard Azog easily knocked me aside and pins Thorin. I reach for my weapon only to find it has bounced away.
Azog slams his blade down at Thorin who just barely blocks it with orcist. Thorin holds Azogs sword just above his chest with all his might.
Shaking my daze off I get to my feet and charge at Azog. I jump on the huge orc's back and plant my hands on his neck. I mercilessly yank on his head and dig my nails into his skin. Azog yells and shakes trying to get me off.
Out of nowhere one surviving minion grabs my wings and drags me off. I let out a screech of pain when he rips handfuls of feather out and haphazardly attack with my bare hands.
My desperation pays off and the orc falls dead just in time for me to witness Azog impale Thorin.
"Thorin!"
Thorin drive his sword into Azog and twist it. Thorin lets out a gasp and yanks his sword out finally killing Azog.
"THORIN!" I screech in agony.
My scream echoes over the battlefield and shakes the very ground with its magnitude.
