《Sarafina's POV》

I pulled open the door that led me inside the restaurant and walked towards the table with a blank face and quietly sat down.

"I hope everything is okay?" I heard Emmanuel say, I looked up to find him already looking at me with his sharp grey eyes.

"Of course, Everything is fine." I lied, smiling casually but the looks I was receiving from my brothers are telling me they don't believe me.

I silently ate my food while the others started talking to each other. After a while, I glanced up and my eyes connected with similar silver grey eyes as Emmanuel.

I stared at Adrien's grey eyes that almost looked lifeless before averting my gaze to Antonio who looked like he was having a serious conversation with Emmanuel.

I tilt my head in curiosity before Brianna's words rang in my head.

'Emmanuel Dieudonné. Leader of the Corsican mafia.'

'They say that the Corsican mafia helped smuggle drugs for the American mafia into New York illegally, Of course.'

The mention of the American mafia raises anger and pure hatred inside of me. I took a sip of water out of my glass.

This doesn't make sense. How did James know Emmanuel? That disk, How did Emmanuel even get it? More importantly from where did he get it from? By any chance, is he behind all of this?

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard my name being called and my eyes snapped to Vito's direction as he looked at me with concern.

"Are you okay?" He asked quietly

"Yeah, fine. Just tired," I replied smiling reassuringly

"It's quite boring isn't it?" He asks smiling

"Boring is an understatement" Vito chuckles at my response

That is how the whole night passed, talking to Vito while ignoring Emmanuel and it was finally time to leave.

Antonio stood up buttoning his suit jacket followed by Emmanuel.

"I hope to see you soon, Mr. De Luca" Emmanuel brought out a hand and Antonio gladly shook it.

"Of course," Antonio replied, giving him a firm shake.

Emmanuel turned and looked at me "It was nice meeting you, Sarafina." I clench my fist before abruptly standing up and walking out, not bothering to reply.

Footsteps followed me outside and I took deep breaths before turning around. I was met with familiar brown eyes looking right at me.

"Sarafina, What's wrong? Is everything okay?" I was about to reply that everything was fine before I was cut off by Vito.

"And don't you dare tell me that everything is fine, cause I know there is something wrong" He says

I sighed before rubbing my temple in frustration

"Sara," I heard his soft voice

"I don't know, okay?" I snapped at him and he looked at me, bemused.

I heard a distant sound of a bike.

"Vito," I started as he stared at me confused. "I need to go right now" I say, taking steps backward as the sound of a bike's engine gets louder each second.

His eyes widened before he stepped forward "Sarafina," His voice held a warning tone which I ignored. I heard more footsteps approaching us "Sara!" I heard a familiar voice yell from behind.

Immediately, I turned behind and sprinted towards the bike as Brianna hurriedly handed me the helmet. "Go!" I yelled and she instantly started driving as I ignored my name being called from behind.

"Are you sure that was the right thing to do?" Brianna asked

I shrugged in response as I walked inside the elevator followed by Brianna "They might be worried about you?" I gave her a side glance

"What are you trying to say?" I asked her, annoyed.

She shrugged in response and the elevator door slid open. I shook my head in annoyance, and walked to Joshua only to find him snoring, loudly.

I turned to Brianna and saw her leaning forward. I sighed knowing what's coming.

"WAKE UP!" Brianna screamed loudly, till the point I had to cover my ears.

"OH MY GOD! What happened? Is everything wrong? Who do I kill? What do I kill? How do I KILL?" We stared at him in silence while he looked up at us from the floor.

I licked my lips before I spoke,

"You don't have to kill anyone, Joshua"

His head snapped to Brianna's direction "Do you have any ounce of respect?" Brianna shook her head in response, smiling sweetly.

"Of course, you don't" Josh rolls his eyes, getting up from the floor and to his chair.

"So, How was the dinner?" He asked

"Entertaining" I responded

"Tell me more about this Dieudonné guy?"

"Well, you have heard that he helped the American mafia smuggle drugs into New York for years," Joshua starts typing something

"That had been going on for years but at some point the federals found out about their affairs" He continued "That's when the American mafia reached out the Galician mafia-"

"The Spanish mafia?" Brianna asked and Joshua nodded in response. I glanced at Bri then back at Josh.

"The American asked them for help and with that the three mafia's worked together and overpowered the federals-"

"What do the Galician and Corsican mafia get out of all this?" I asked Josh

He clicked his fingers and pointed at me,

"Good question,"

"It expanded their businesses world wide and they gained more power, also they made more allies around the world," Josh finished, I crossed my arms as I leaned against the railing.

Then what does Antonio want from Emmanuel? What was the reason for this dinner? Questions rang through my head and I needed answers. My phone started ringing and I already knew who it is,

"Give me Emmanuel Dieudonné, location" I told Joshua before removing my phone and picking it up.

"Hello," I said

I cringe when I hear yells and shouts from the other end.

"Can you guys SHUT UP!?" I sighed in relief when the line got silent

"Can we talk when I get home, Please?" I asked

"Fine" I heard Antonio's cold voice before the call ended.

I walked back to where Joshua and Brianna are.

"Have you got it?" I asked him

"Almost" He replied

"Sara, I don't think you should go right now" Brianna says looking at me.

"The more you delay, the more matters get worse" I told her, she rolled her eyes.

"I think you should go home Sara," She argues

"I can't help but agree with her" I heard Josh say

"Not you, too," I said as he turned around smiling at me, apologetically.

"Whatever" I say, turning around and walking out.

I made my way out and to my bike.

I basically got kicked out.

And Ramadan Mubarak to all Muslims out there!
