《Sarafina De Luca》Chapter 22

Gunshots and screams were heard asMadelina made her way towards me her katana swinging around as I dodged every time she attacks stepping backwards.
I froze when her katana made it's way to my neck I lift my head slightly up to stop it from touching me. She smirked. She has no idea who she is messing with.
Without her noticing I took out the dagger which was located in the right side of my thigh. I hold the dagger tighter on my hand.
I spin around to get away from the katana as her hold on the katana loosened I took my chance and placed the dagger in her neck like she did a minute ago and brought her down.
She gritted her teeth together as I pushed the dagger more deeper into her neck "Madelina you just messed with the wrong person" I whispered dangerously low.
"And you chose the wrong side" She whispered back and then her elbow made it's way to the back of my neck the dagger was thrown out of my hand.
My body fell back as Madelina throwed punch by punch. Finally getting my senses back I brought my knee to her stomach as she gasped for air I took my chance and got up breathing heavily.
Madelina was still in the ground gasping for air. I felt blood trickling down my right eyebrow. I heard Madelina chuckle with no humor "Your going to die either way Black Rose" She breathed out.
She got up. Now both of us were standing opposite each other with nothing but our hands held up in a fighting stance.
She was about to punch me but I dodged it and punched her in the face I heard a satisfied crack as she screamed in pain without wasting a second I did a roundhouse kick. She fell to the ground.
Using her hands for support I didn't give her a chance and went kneeing her in the head. I stumbled back as her body lied unconscious on the cement floor.
My eyes moved around the warehouse where body's lied unconscious my brothers stood there breathing slightly heavily.
This is just the beginning.
Black Rose.
Who is she? And why the hell is she helping us? Questions ran through my mind. She stood there with no fear for her life even after my threat but what surprised the most at that moment was when Gavino spoke.
I knew he was hiding something from the first time Black Rose made a move there is something his hiding and I can tell that the boys knew that too.
What angered me the most out of all is when Vito called and told me Sarafina wasn't home. I was worried more then angry.
Even if the world is ending my first priority is to keep my baby sister safe no matter the problem.
I saw Black Rose fight the Russian assassin' her fighting posture and everything is professional. But who the hell is she? Being the capo of the Italian mafia isn't easy.
You never know when your attacked and that's why we always keep back up.
Back up that's making it's way here. This isn't the only warehouse we have here. We have around four warehouses here and millions out the world.
And now that The Russians have an idea on where it is located we will have to move it to a more secure place for the members.
Currently I am glaring at Black Rose who's face is hidden under that hood of hers. "Did you know this would happen?" I asked my voice cold and no hint of emotion.

I heard her sigh.
"You still don't trust me" Her voice was merely a whisper but somehow I heard it clearly.
I looked around body's lied unconscious or dead. Most of them are from the Russian Mafia. A vehicle engine was heard knowing it's just the back up.
Members scattered everywhere cleaning the place making it seem like nothing happened here. I walked to my office. Black Rose was long gone. She just disappeared but left us something. The boys were trailing behind me.
I sat at the chair behind my desk as the boys sat at the couch except Leonard who was leaning against the wall.
"We know his not going to stop" Lorenzo says referring to one and only Dimitri Petrov.
"His basically asking for war" Gavino muttered.
I nodded my head leaning back in my seat
"He wants war." I say turning to look at the boys who were waiting for me to continue.
"We give it to him"
It's time we finally end what started centuries ago.
I got out as soon as they removed there eyes from me. I disappeared in the shadows and out. I headed to the place I never knew I would go to.
The hideout.
I reached there in a minute and took the same route I took each time I came here. I expected no one to be there when I saw Joshua and Brianna there I was surprised. I might have expected Joshua but not Brianna.
Joshua moved his eyes from the computer to the elevator where I'm currently standing on. I gave him a nod which he returned with a kind smile. I moved my eyes from Joshua to Brianna who held a lot of emotions.
Guilt. Sadness. Anger.
But this time not towards me but her.
I gave her nod I placed my bow down. "Where were you? You called me but as soon as I answered the phone cut. I even tried to locate you but I couldn't" Joshua ranted relief showing in his eyes.
"I'm fine" I answered I removed my hood and my lenses "Sar, Can we please talk?" Brianna asked hopefully. I sucked my breath in and nodded.
We walked to the other side of the bunker. Joshua busied himself with whatever tech shit he does.
"I'm so sorry Sara, You know I didn't mean any of those things. I-I was just angry not on you but--" she looked down and sighed and when she looked up tears had formed in her eyes.
"I just miss him so much" She breathed out tears spilling from her eyes. My eyes turned soft and I went straight for a hug.
She sobbed quietly "Are we ever going to find him?" She asked all of a sudden. I closed my eyes and nodded "Of course we are."
"But Sar what i-if his dead?" Her voice cracked.
I shake my head to get rid of the thoughts "He's not. His strong we both know that" I say firmly she didn't reply.
I pulled back and looked at her straight in the eye "He is not dead, Okay?" I asked my voice strong and firm.
She nodded her head and wiped her eyes "His not dead" She muttered to her self.
"Are we cool?" Brianna says with hopeful eyes I smiled and nodded my head her eyes lit up and relief flooded through her.
She hugged me and I hug her back. "Group hug" I heard Joshua yell I chuckled at his antics and that's when I realized how lucky I am to have them.

But like they say happiness doesn't last forever.
Months passed till the incident that took place in the warehouse and to be honest nothing changed. I've not heard from Dimitri which is bad.
My brothers got busier they barely come home but I somehow got closer to all of them as time passes.
School is School. It's a waste of time if you ask me but one thing that's always on my mind is him.
Xavier.
I don't know much about him but somehow he makes his way to my mind every second. He doesn't talk much mostly just glares at me or grunts in response which is kinda frustrating.
"--So, that's what happened" Brianna said finishing her story plopping a grape in her mouth. Leo watched her in awe.
"That was awesome" He exclaimed.
Brianna smiled at him and in the past few months all of us got closer at this point we are inseparable I had a small smile on my own as Leo grinned widely and we haven't told Leo how we spend our nights. Yet.
Suddenly, My phone rang. I picked it up and placed it against my ear. "Sarafina, where are you?" I heard Gavino's voice.
"Where would I be? I'm at school of course" I replied back in a obvious tone. He sighed in relief and confusion flooded through me. A gut feeling told me that something is wrong.
"Gavino, What's wrong? Is everything okay?" I asked worriedly it was silent for a few seconds "Everything is fine" He replied I don't believe him. By now I got Brianna and Joshua's attention.
"Okay, I have to go class is starting soon." I lied
"Yeah I'll see you at home. Bye" He cut the call
I put my phone away.
"There's something wrong" I say and with that they put on their serious face Leo gave us a confused and worried look.
"W-what's wrong?" Leo stuttered I turned to him and pursed my lips my eyes turned to look at Brianna and Joshua they had the 'look' on their faces. The look that says
'Tell him it's time'
I rolled my eyes and turned to Leo who looked confused as ever.
"Let's go"
_._._._
Just like that we found our way to the hideout. I stepped out of the elevator Bri and Joshua trailing behind and not to forget Leo who's staring at the place with wide and shocked eyes.
His eyes moved around the place until it landed on the bow and the Black Rose outfit. He froze.
"Y-your her" He breathed out
I nodded my head looking at his reaction his eyes turned to me and this is why I hate telling people
His eyes showed fear.
I licked my lips
"Leo, I'm not going to hurt you" I say softly as I can. His eyes seem to relax a bit
"Are you okay?" I asked my eyes examining his face. It still held some fear he nodded his head I smiled at him before I took my outfit and quickly changed.
I walked up to Joshua who is typing something on the computer. His eyebrows raised "What's wrong?" I asked he turned to me
"I can't get his location" He says at this point I was confused and worried.
What if something happens to them? "Try again" He nodded his head and typed something.
I looked around and saw Brianna and Leo nowhere in sight. "Where's Leo?" I asked
"Brianna is showing him around and to talk" I nodded my head in understanding.
After hours of trying to find their location I heard a beeping sound coming from the computer.
"Got it"
I made my way to my bike.
The sun was setting and heavy wind blew but for me it was nothing but relaxing.
I made my way there
In the middle of nowhere.
I parked my bike in a hidden spot and looked around. There was nothing but big containers. Suddenly, I heard voices coming from a distant.
I made my way there as soon as I could. I climbed one of the containers and when I finally did reach where the noises came from I kneeled down.
What I saw was surprising.
Antonio and Gavino stood there with suits and a cold look in their eyes. I squinted my eyes and saw a figure in the corner and when I finally got a glance to the figure's face I soon realized it was Leonard.
What the fuck is going on?
But the most shocking thing is the person who stood opposite of them.
Dimitri Petrov stood their with his second command Adrian with the same look as my brothers.
They were talking but I couldn't hear shit.
Fuck.
"It's good to see you again" He says with his Russian accent we gave him a cold glare in return he had a little smirk but that dark look that show's in his eyes is still there.
"Let's get straight to the point" Antonio says coldly stepping forward I followed his actions and got ready to attack.
"You want to get to the point," He says glaring at us "Then let's do what he says gentleman we get straight to it" He removed his gun the same time we did.
Before he could shoot the gun was out of his hand and to the ground he hissed in pain. I turned to the figure that was making it's way to us.
What. The. Fuck.
Should I be surprised? No.
Cause she does it every single fucking time.
But I know there no point on being angry. It's my baby sister after all but still.
This is going to be a long ass night.
I made my way their my gun pointed at Dimitri. His jaw was clenched "You." He spat "Me." I say smirking.
"I will kill you" He threatened before he could do anything a gunshot sound rang through the place. Adrian's now dead body laid in the ground.
I raised my eyebrows.
A sniper.
I followed to where the bullet came from. Which wasn't far I saw a person on top of the tower with a sniper rifle. He looked up and Lorenzo sent a thumbs up.
His a sniper. How didn't I know that?
But then afterwards more gunshots rang through the place but not from our side.
I quickly took cover so did they.
I shot every Russian in sight and this went on for a while until it was silent. I stayed where I was for a moment.
My brothers doing the same. Sweat was running down my face but nothing was heard.
I slowly got out from the place I made my way to the middle looking everywhere. My eyes moved to look around.
We are missing something.
Dimitri. Where the hell did he go?
My eyes widened as I realized that all of this was a distraction. My eyes moved around frantically until it landed on the figure in the shadows but before any of us could do anything a gunshot was heard.
I gasped as pain surged through me. I stumble back holding my abdomen. Shouts were heard but all of them came out blurry.
I squeezed my eyes in pain. My back met the ground as my vision slowly faded away "Stay with us" I heard someone say but the voice came out muffled "Come on, Il mio amore stay with us"
The last thing I felt was a warm arm around me
And my hood falling of my head.
