《Sarafina De Luca》Chapter 11

Gavino on top.
I woke up this morning to be greeted by Gavino's sleeping face.
I chuckled quietly. He had his arms around me. I put his arms to the side of his body and made him lay on the sofa. I saw the time it was 8am.
I'm going to be honest this is the best sleep I've had in a long time. Something about my brothers makes me feel safe and I love the feeling maybe because I've never felt safe.
I went to the kitchen and it's all empty the boys were no where in sight I took a box of cereal and milk in a bowl and sat on the kitchen stool after a few bites I heard heavy footsteps I looked up from my cereal bowl and there stood Gavino with his morning face.
"Morning" He mumbled
"Good morning my dear brother" I said cheerfully
He gave me a strange look
"What" I asked him
he shook his head and continued making poison I mean coffee that even black. Ew.
"You said today" He said glancing my direction.
I knew what he was talking about today I would tell him everything. I know that Gavino might help in a way since there in the Mafia that even the Italian Mafia.
I nodded my head
"I'm gonna go get ready" I said going upstairs to my room. once I reach my room I hopped onto the shower once I was done I put on a normal shirt and pants I couldn't help but lift my shirt up and stare at my scars that each monster they call human gave me.
I'm willing to kill each one of them. Each scar with a painful memory behind it. I couldn't help but remember the days I wanted to end my life but didn't instead I survived. The flashbacks made its way in my head when I used to spend my nights in the darkness, coldness all on your own no one there for you.

I didn't notice my eyes getting slightly watery. I quickly blinked them away and headed downstairs where I saw Gavino on the couch with his laptop on his lap.
I think he heard me coming so he looked up and his eyes landed on me.
"You ready?" He asked me.
I nodded my head.
Gavino had a simple grey shirt on with some black jeans for the first time I've not seen him in a suit.
I told him to follow me with his car while I was on my bike. Then I made my way to the hideout.
I parked my bike. Gavino doing the same. I swung my legs over my bike and removed my helmet and ran a hand through my hair.
I heard Gavino's car door shut and he walked up to me and was looking around
"Are you sure this is the right place?" He asked.
I nodded my head.
I mean I get it why he asked we are literally in front of an abandoned building that hasn't been used for years. I have no idea how Josh found it.
We walked inside the building and I went to the back of the building where there is an office. I went in the far back corner of the office where there is a secret button to call the elevator which leads us down.
I looked over Gavino and he had a confused look over his face.
I clicked the button and waited a minute then the elevator opened. Gavino looked shocked we went in and I pressed the button to lead the elevator down.
The door slid to the side I walked in Gavino behind me looking shocked as ever I mean I was shocked when I saw this place

"You did this yourself?" He asked, looking around I shook my head.
"I have friends" I said he turned to look at me
"You mean Joshua and Brianna. Your friends from your old home?" He asked.
I nodded my head.
I saw Gavino go to where I place my Black Rose out fit and the weapons I use.
He picked the bow up and admired it with an expressionless face. He kept the bow down and walked to where my outfit was.
He stared at it for a moment then turned to look at me I raised my eyebrows.
He shook his head and made his way over to me
"Now since we are alone tell me. Why?" He asked.
I sighed
"I told you I had too"
he cocked his head to the side "Why did you have too?" He asked
"Answers" I answered shortly.
He slightly nodded his head and made his way closer to me
"You asked us why Dimitri wanted to kill us? Why?" He asked.
Why is he asking me this? I thought he read the file I was about to answer to tell him if he read the file but he spoke
"I want to hear it from you" He said leaning against the table.
"Dimitri asked me to kill you. Assigned me to kill you. I owed him a favor that I had to return either you do his favor or get killed" I started off glancing at his direction only to see him listening intently.
"I was just 14 when I started becoming the black rose. It was a young age and that's why I needed help so I joined the bratva to get information about my targets. After a while doing Dimitri's dirty work I started becoming busy with Black Rose and it made him angry and that's why we made a deal he helps me I return the favor then when I help him he returns the favor. So here I am returning his favor" I continued
Gavino looked in deep thoughts but I knew he was listening
"Dimitri is powerful. I can't stop him but with you on my side maybe there is a chance we can stop him not just once but permanently. I want to ruin the bratva." I finished off
He stared at me for what felt like an hour then he finally spoke
"What made you become Black Rose, Sarafina?" He whispers softly
I tensed and clench my hands.
"So, Are you going to help me or not?" I ask not answering his question.
"And how do you possibly think I can help?" He replies knowing I'm not ready to answer his before question.
I raised my eyebrows.
Really?
"The fact that your the second command of the Italian Mafia and Antonio the Capo I think you can help tons" I said while his eyes went wide
"How did yo-" I cut him off
"Gavino I'm not dumb. Seeing you with guns last night and also the reason Dimitri wants to kill you is because the Russian Mafia are rivals with the Italian Mafia." I say
he nodded his head.
"It's late the boys are home we should go"
I nodded my head we were about to head out but I stopped Gavino.
He looked at me confusion plastered on his face
"I don't want the others to know. This should stay in between us. When it's the right time I'll tell them" I said to him.
He nodded his head hesitantly. I
narrowed my eyes at him and made him promise.
Hope he keeps his promise.
