《Finally》Chapter 42

A dull pain forms in my head. I try to lift my hand to touch my temples but soon realize that my hands are tied.
A little disoriented, everything starts coming back.
A black bag covers my face, preventing me from seeing anything. I do know, however that I'm on the floor of a car. The road is rocky for each time I'm jumping up and down.
"So where are we taking her?" The voice of a man speaks up. I pay full attention for I don't want to miss what they are saying. I need to find a way out of this, they all must be worried and looking for me.
"To a cabin just a few miles away from there they will pick her up and we will be on our way with our money." Another man answers.
What cabin? I have no sense of idea where I am. I could've been asleep for to long and they could have taken me out of the state.
Oh dear, I hope they come for me.
"We are here." The car finally comes to a stop. I stay as still as possible. I feel a cold gust of wind hit me as the open the door to the car.
Oh my goodness, please Aiden please come for me. I beg.
Tears begin to form in my eyes but I won't allow them to see my weakness. I've come to learn that it's best no to show weakness for they will surely use it against you.
Two big, rough hands grab my ankles. I bite my lip to prevent a yelp from escaping. They through my over their shoulder and begin to walk. I hear the crunch of gravel under their doots.
We enter a warm place. The cabin it must be. Suddenly all air leaves my body when I'm being thrown down on the bed. Again they take a hold of my ankles however this time theu spread my legs out a rope is being tied to me and something else. The bed post, I guess.
The sound of cans be open and chairs scraping against the floor is all I hear.
"They should be any moment. Let's go into the living room and wait there." The chairs scraped again against the floor as they moved.
Well at least I gathered that it's more than one person.

It can't be Zac he has no money so he surely can pay these two.
Soon the times seems to drag on. It must be night time by now. I can no longer feel by butt or ankles.
I stay very silent hoping to hear something.
Hours seem to pass.
"Where the fuck are they? They should be looking all over for her and I ain't waiting to be caught."
I clear my throat. "Hello."
"Shit." I hear them mutter.
"What the hell do you want." A man yells from the other side.
"Can you tell me what time it is?" I ask.
"Why do you want to know. You already miss your wedding." The man snaps.
I begin to feel irritated.
I need you to come in here.
"Can I please get water." I yell.
I hear a loud sigh from the other side. The door opens.
Thank goodness.
I sit up. One of the man lift the black bag from my face and shoves the cup in my face. I take big gulps of water.
I sigh.
"Could you perhaps take the bag off? I ask nicely to the man in a mask.
"Why?"
"Well y'all ain't in here and you have masks so I can't see your face. Can I please take it off." I beg.
"Fine." He snaps.
The man yanks it off. My hair coming inside my mouth.
The man walks out leaving me alone.
The minute the door closes I begin to slide my wrist out the rope. Biting my lip I fight through the pain and try to release my hands.
It starts to become unbearable but I won't stop. I keep yanking my wrist. One of my hand begins to slide out the rope burning against my skin making really sensitive.
Thank goodness I have very small wrist.
I almost yell out in victory once I pull one wrist out. I move my wrist in circle trying to get the feeling back.
I continue to do the same with the other one. This one is harder just as I yank.
I rub my wrist. They are really red, alittle bit of blood came out but other than that their just alittle raw. The pins and needles feeling are present but bareable.
I lool from outside the window nighttime has fallen.
I quickly and quietly as possible untie my ankles. I'm guessing this people don't care who or how they kidnapped the person just as long as they get money.

I slip my heels off. Tip toeing to the window, I unlock the window sliding it up.
I thank the lord for the tv up really loud they don't hear me open the window.
I begin to shiver as the freezing cold air hits me.
I grab the chair from the corner of the room, place it by the window to help me slip out. I gather my dress. I swing one leg out then the next. I let go and land in a pile of mud but I don't care I'm out of the cabin.
Without looking back I begin to run.
I ignore the cold, the pain in my feet and the pain in my chest from running.
I don't look back at all just keep running.
I just want to get to Aiden and Amelia.
She's probably missing me. We've never been separate for long.
Amelia and Aiden is the only thing motivating me to keep going.
The air is knock out of me as I land on the ground. I groan when I feel a throbbing sensation in my ankle.
Dang it.
I tripped on nothing, how stupid am I? I get back up, limping alittle as I go on.
Mud now covers the front of my dress.
I sigh, feeling mix emotions. A lone tear slips out.
"Please. Please. Anyone. Aiden, please." I silently beg.
I'm cold, tired and overall just just want to go home.
I suck it up and go on. I don't know what time it is. How long have I been here no clue.
I gather my muddy, once white dress and keep walking straight.
I step on rocks, twings and dirt, my feet are in pain. I lift one feet to check it out, drops of blood tickle down.
I don't dare to look at the other one. Tree branches scratch my arms, face. A few twings get stuck in my hair.
I keep walking, numb to my surroundings. I don't hear anything and quite frankly I simple want to lay down.
I walk to a tree I think would be okay to lay down just for a few moments.
I slide down no longer caring. I hug my arms before drifting off to sleep.
******
We are sitting on the ground in the living room. My mom runs her fingers through my long hair.
"Mommy. I love you." I tilt my head up to look at her.
"I love you too."
"How was school?" Mommy asks.
"Great but I don't think a girl likes me." I inform mommy of the girl in my kindergarten class.
"Sweetie not everyone is going to like you and that's okay just stick to your friends okay."
She kisses my head.
"I don't have alot of friends." I inform my mom.
"You'll make them don't worry." Mommy reassures me.
I turn around to face her. "How'd you meet daddy?"
A dreamy smile graces her face. "I met him when we ran into each other at a cafe once. He didn't see me. We bumped into each other."
She laughs I watch her fascinated.
"He asked if I was okay and from then on we talked, from then we would hang out. He asked to be his girlfriend and I can't tell you the rest it's for grown ups." Mommy blushes.
"He was charming and his smile was...breathtaking." She giggled.
I laugh.
"And he bought me flowers, white roses. Oh, god. His brown eyes would just shine like melt chocolate. I was in love."
"Brown eyes, daddy doesn't have brown eyes." I ask her confuse.
"Daddy has pretty colorful eyes remember?"
"You look just like your dad." Mommy saids.
"No I don't." I scoffs.
"Your to young to understand but sometimes things happen that lead us in a different direction." Mommy sighs. "You're Gabriel's not Zac's." Mommy says ever so loudly. I suppose I wasn't suppose to hear but I did, however I didn't ask.
******
I'm startled awake with the sound of cars honking.
Oh my god.
I look up at the sky it's still really dark so I'm guessing it's early morning.
I get up and run towards the noise.
Aimlessly forwards but soon regret it when headlight make their way towards me with no intention of stopping.
