"YOU WHAT!" MJ shouted. "Shhhhhh" I whispered, giving her the look. "You slept with Peter Parker?" She shouted whispered. "Not like that no!". "Then what like?". "I had a bad dream and I was scared. Dad had left and I don't know if he's okay or not!" I lied. I was keeping my promise. Even though MJ was my best friend, I wasn't going to tell her that Peter was Spider-Man. "Oh y/n. You still haven't heard from him?" She asked. I shook my head and looked at my hands. Karen told me he was okay last night and when I asked Peter this morning, all he put back was "um...". I sent him multiple messages after but he just ignored me. Why couldn't he see that I was worried? "He'll be fine. He always is" she said trying to cheer me up. I wanted to believe her, but this time, I just couldn't. I needed to speak to Peter.
When I finally got home, I placed my keys in the bowl and shouted for Peter, hoping he would be home. "Y/n..." he started while walking out of his room, but he couldn't finish because I had ran to him and pinned up against the wall. "TELL ME NOW PETER!" I screamed, tears threatening to leave my eyes. "Y/n, I can explain" he said softly trying to calm me down, but I wasn't having any of it. "YOU HAVE BEEN IGNORING ME ALL DAY! YOU CANNOT JUST SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT AND NOT TELL ME! HE IS MY FATHER! TELL ME NOW!" I shouted while pushing him further against the wall, tears now falling down my cheeks. "Okay! Karen had contact with Friday but then the connection was lost because...". He stopped and took a deep breath. "BECAUSE WHAT PETER?" I screamed louder this time. "Because he's in space!". "W..what?" I stuttered while releasing my grip a little. "He's in space". "No, you're lying". "I wish I was, trust me. I'm so sorry y/n" he said sliding away from the wall. "No, no this cannot be happening" I whispered. I could feel a lump in my throat. I turned around and ran for the door. "Y/n wait!" Peter shouted while running after me but it was too late, I was already gone.
