Hearing his voice is so soothing. But the thought that he could be cheating on me with Monie makes me sick to my stomach.
I laid back on my bed and thought.
"You know she hate me right?" Monie said to me.
"She don't hate you. She just ain't really get the chance to really know you."
"Nahh she definitely hate me." She said.
"Didn't she apologize for acting weird to all us that time though."
"She apologized and then started back acting weird to me. And then she friends with Kayla... I know you seen her comforting that girl after I fought ha." She said.
"Could just be a misunderstanding."
"You could always just have a private talk with her. She probably feeling the same way you feeling."
I know Daeja can come off a little shady sometimes, but it don't never be nun for real.
"I'll try that, but no promises it'll work for real." She said.
"As long as you try."
"On another note tho, I'm hungry."
"You know what we should get?" She said with a big smile on her face.
"Don't say no damn chipotle ghee."
"CHIPOTLEEEEE." She yelled.
"No bruh. We always eating that. Let's get some Harold's or some."
"I could eat chipotle everyday if U let me." She said.
"I know..."
"So as I was saying, Harold's."
"Chipotle really the best food place out here." She continued about chipotle.
***
Yeah we ended up getting chipotle AGAIN. A Nigga gon turn into a chipotle bruh. It do be good though.
"Chipotle gon hit EVERY TIMEEEEE." She said doin a luh food dance. She always do it every time we get food. It's always that luh hip dance or a luh wiggle. It's cute.

We just was chilling and talking about whatever. She cool as hell to be around. Whenever I'm hanging out with her, I be losing track of time. It be stress free for real. Ian gotta worry about no extra shit. And not gon lie, she a good listener too. I be finding myself confiding in her sometimes, and I don't regret it after. It's nice.
I know you probably like but you got a lot of other friends for that too but to be honest the only ones I really know like that is Rell, India and Woo. And with them it's only so much you can tell them. Daeja not really good at talking and listening and stuff like that, so I usually just keep it to myself.
"How you feeling after everything that's happened these past few weeks?" I asked her.
"Shit is crazy, but that's how life is I guess. It could be worse." She said.
"Yeah.." It got a little quiet, so I decided to ask a question I wanted to ask.
"So like I got a question."
"What?"
"So you said you was from Atlanta right?"
"Yup."
"So where else you lived at after that?"
"Hmmm." She thought for second.
"I moved around in South Carolinaaa. I lived in Memphis for a lil bit. Moved around in Indiana. Before I was over here, I lived on the Northside." She said.
"What made y'all move on da southside?" I asked her.
"Family and some other stuff." She said. It seemed like she ain't really wanna get into it, so I didn't press for more on that.
"How about you?" She said to me.
"What you mean?"
"You from Atlanta too right?" She asked.
"Yeah."
"Where you go after that?" She asked me.
"I just went straight here."
"I lived with my mom over in Atlanta but some crazy stuff happened over there, so she sent me with my dad."
"Damn." She said.
"What happened?" She asked.
"Some good people died."
"Good people?" She questioned.
"Yup. One of them was my first love. Her name was Symone. Same as you."
