"What's whichu nd ole dude?" Mere asked taking my plate and puttin it in the sink.
"Who? Rell?" I asked him.

"Shut uppp. You're embarrassinggg" I said laughing. I stood up and grabbed my bag.
"I'm gone ghee." I said shaking my head.
"Wait! I was jus sayin if you is active use a-!" I cut him off.
"LALALALA I CANT HEAR YOUUU. BYEEE LOVE YOU." I yelled on my way out the door.
"I WANNA MEET HIM!" He yelled right before I closed the door.
When I went out the door, Omar had just pulled up. I hopped in his car, and we drove off to school.

"I'm just sayin if the bitch hadn't said what she said, she wouldn't have got ha ass beat." I heard Daeja say as Omar, and I walked up to the lunch table.
"Who got dey ass beat??" I asked sitting down.
"Dis girl Trayjah. Ha and ha boyfriend got in dis big ass argument in my third period. She said some about his momma, and he beat the fuck outta ha." She explained.
"Dayum."
"Yup. Police was here and err thing. They took him to jail and ha to go to a hospital. When I say he beat the fuck outta ha, I mean he did some damageee. I felt a lil bad for ha." Daeja said.

"Where's the birthday girl?" I asked.
"She ain't come today." Daeja said, "She kinda at the hospital with the girl. That was ha cousin but she don't really mess wit ha like dat."
"Damn. At the hospital on ha birthday. That sucks."
"For real. I know she pissed." Lawan said.
"Yo Omar. Lemme talk to ya real quick." One his friends said.
"Ight, I'll be back." He told me. I nodded.

"Come on girl. You knowwww." She said.
I looked at ha confused.
"You and Omarrr. Y'all seem to be hittin it off." India said.
"I was showl noticing how y'all almost always near each otha but ian wanna be in yo buisness." Chiyah said.
"Ritee." Daeja agreed.
"Yeahh. He's just..i don't know."
"You like him?" India asked.
"I mean...yeah I do. I enjoy his company."

"I remember when Lawan and I was just like that when we first started talkin." She said.
"When did y'all first start?"
"It was about two and half years ago." She answered.

"Yup. We've been through some stuff." She said.
I wonder if Omar and I will make it that long..
Omar came back and sat next to me. He put his arm around me and I rested my head on him.

"I wish I had me a lil stinkalink." Woo sighed.
"I'm sayin." Chiyah said.
"Y'all gon find one day." India said.
"Girl you talkin like you got a lil boo." Chiyah said.

I already who it was. She told me last week that she had been talkin to this girl named Aliyonna.
"Wowww. So you just not gon tell us nun? No hints at all." Daeja said.
"Nope." India said.
"Bogus." Woo said.
"I thought we was friends." He said shakin his head.
"We issss, but I still wanna keep it on da low low. Like they friends don't een know about us either." India said.

"No thanks needed. Why wouldn't I do that for my girl?" He said.
I just smiled. As I was getting out the car, he grabbed my hand. I looked back at him.
"Yes?"
He opened his mouth to speak but then closed it.
"Never mind. You going to Mika party tomma right?" He said.
"Yup."
"Ight then I'll see you tomma then." He said letting my hand go.
"See you." I said closing the car then going in my house.
As soon as I got in the house Mere was there on the couch looking suspicious.
"What are you doing?" I asked him suspiciously.
"Nun. Nothing at alll." He said.
I crossed my arms and gave him that I don't buy it face.
"How come you ain't come home with that girl India?" He asked.
"How would you know that?" I asked.
"You must have been watchin me out the window."
"It was just a quick lil look." He said.
"Yeah okay." I said heading to the stairs.
"Oh right. I'm supposed to be going to this birthday party for one of my friends tomma night."
"India gon be there?" He asked.
"Yeah."
"Ight then just be careful. Don't take no drinks if u ain't watch them make it. You'on kno what people be on." He said.
"Okay."
"You still got that tazer?" He asked.
"Yup." I took it out my bag and held it up.
"Good. Bring dat whichu" He said.
"Kay." Is what I said before going upstairs.
