《Goddess of the Moon (TEEN WOLF)》CHAPTER 6

Around noon there was a knock on the door and Misses McCall entered the room, to look after Selena.
"There are some guests.", she announced and Lydia and Isaac followed her into the room. Lydia looked at Selena with a bright and warm smile, before introducing herself and Isaac. Isaac kept a safe distance and stood next to Allison while crossing his arms over his chest.
"There's a doctor on the way to look after you, Selena. I suppose that they will let you go home today. I hope there's a plan yet, where she will stay?" Melissa looked at her son while asking the question, but didn't get the answer she hoped for. There wasn't a plan yet. Not even close.
"You can live at mine if you want.", Lydia said and looked at Selena with a friendly smile. Before Selena could answer, Scott turned her idea down.
"I'm sorry to say this Lydia, but an Alpha came after her to kill her. If he will show up again, you two are not safe."
"Oh no. Scott, no. Isaac is already with us, I don't have enough money to feed another supernatural teenager. I'm sorry, Selena.", Melissa said when she realized that everybody was looking at her. Scott sighed and suddenly everyone's gaze laid on Allison. Stiles thought, that Allisons house should be safe enough.
"Oh! Yeah, yeah. I mean, I need to ask my dad but it should be ok, I guess.", Allison said nervously and gave Selena a weak smile. It was the best plan the friends could get in that moment so they just left it there. Just in time, the doctor entered the room to check on Selena.
"Did you hear something from Derek?", Allison asked after they all left the room to give Selena some privacy while the doctor checked on her. Isaac instantly shook his head no.
"Danny could not locate his phone. But Lydia had an idea..." His voice got quieter at the end of the sentence, until it was only a whisper anymore. He looked at Lydia carefully who was already biting her bottom lip nervously.

"I thought that maybe... Peter could help us.", Lydia whispered and looked at her friends with an innocent smile. Stiles could hear Scott growling and he didn't even have to look at his best friends to know, that his eyes were glowing red from anger.
"Scott, maybe it's not the worst idea. He knows Derek better than any of us do and he also knows a lot of things about the supernatural. Maybe he knows something about Selena. We should give it a try.", Allison said and Lydia nodded. Even Stiles thought, that Allison was right and that Peter was their best chance right now. Stiles didn't like Peter, nobody did. But he knew more about werewolves, supernatural things and about Derek than they all did together.
"Fine. Try to call him or something and tell him to meet us at the animal clinic. And we will all go, nobody will talk to him alone.", Scott gave in and Lydia nodded before leaving the hospital to call Peter. After a while, the doctor, Melissa and Selena left the room and met the friends in the hallway. Misses McCall was able to get Selena a dress and a pair of shoes from the lost-and-found office. The dark blue dress reached down to her knees and the shoes seemed to be a little too small but Selena didn't look like it would bother her. Selena was holding Stiles' jacket in her hands, which she used as a blanket the night before. She walked up to him shyly and reached out for him to give the jacket back to him.
"You can keep it until we get you your own jacket.", Stiles smiled and put his hands in his pockets. Selena thanked him quietly and pulled the jacket over her shoulders and arms without thinking twice.
"Maybe we could go shopping while the boys talk to Peter." They all turned around to see Lydia, who was walking up to them and put her phone back in her pocket. It seemed like Peter agreed to meeting them. Stiles thought that Lydia just looked for a reason, so she didn't have to meet Peter but she also would never miss the chance to style a pretty girl.

"Sounds good to me. Are you up for it, Selena?", Allison agreed happily and looked at Selena. Selena didn't seem too excited and cleared her throat.
"I... I don't have money for that.", she said and shifted from one foot to the other nervously.
"Don't worry about that, sweetie. If everything goes back to normal, we will get you a job or just sue the Eichen House for compensation. Until then, I will pay.", Lydia answered and reached her hand out for Selena to take it. Selena looked at Stiles who smiled at her encouraging so she took Lydias hand and left the hospital with her and Allison. Isaac, Scott and Stiles drove to the animal clinic where Deaton was already waiting for them. Before he told them about what he found out, he went to the front door to change the sign to closed, when an unexpected guest surprised him. Maybe Scott should have told him about their plan with asking Peter.
"Peter. What are you doing here?", the friends could hear Deaton say and could not overhear his despise.
"The true alpha invited me. Seems like he needs me." Stiles rolled his eyes and Scott growled again, thinking of what a stupid idea this was. Still he found himself telling Peter about Derek and Selena just a bit later.
"Silver eyes? That's all? There is probably a dozen of supernatural creatures with silver eyes.", Peter said with an annoyed voice and folded his arms over his chest.
"There's actually something. Her blood is similar to Scotts. Like a werewolf.", Deaton said and pointed at the small tube with Selenas blood in it.
"But she is not a werewolf. I'm sure about that.", Scott said and narrowed his eyebrows while thinking.
"You must have noticed something. Come on Scott, you're an alpha. There must be something. A scent, a shadow, a light, anything.", Peter said threatening and walked up to Scott who looked at him with angry eyes.
"Her strength. She's stronger than a werewolf.", Isaac suddenly said and everyone looked at him. Peter tilted his head and looked at Isaac who shrugged his shoulders.
"You said that she was able to escape from the alpha. How could she do that without any help? She did not mention anyone who was in the room with them. It was her and the alpha and she was able to get away from him.", Isaac explained and Stiles wondered when Isaac actually got smart and helpful.
"She said that she grabbed his wrists and that he kind of froze for a moment.", Stiles repeated her words and looked at Deaton.
"Maybe a venom? Like the kanima? Or some petrifaction thing like Medusa?" And that was the point where Stiles thought that he was wrong and that Isaac was, as always, not really helpful. Isaac just shrugged his shoulders again and didn't seem to care that everyone looked at him like he was crazy.
"Or like he lost his power.", Deaton whispered and exchanged looks with Peter who suddenly seemed uncomfortable.
"That can't be true.", Peter said quietly but kept looking at Deaton.
"Her blood is not similar to Scotts because she's a werewolf but because she stems from werewolves."
"How can she stem from werewolves but not be one?", Stiles ask and confusion hit his voice.
"Lupus iudex potestate.", Deaton said and looked at Peter who seemed to have the same thought.
"Could you translate that please? Lydia is not here.", Stiles asked annoyed and Deaton nodded his head.
"Judge of the wolf power. I read about it once, there are some stories and legends but I never thought that they exactly exist. Werewolves mostly know them under the name..."
"Goddess of the moon.", Peter finished his sentence and growled.

He asks and I nod my head once again. He chuckles, "Ya head hurt?" I nod again but stop as he laughs softly, "I-I mean.. no.. it doesn't." My cheeks burn red as I look at my shoes, "I-It doesn't hurt.." I repeat like a dummy and listen to him clear his throat, "So do you actually live there or was it bull?" He holds it out for me to take and I stare at him with wide eyes, "F-For me?" I hesitantly grab the soft fabric as he chuckles, "Nah for ya mom."
