《How To: Survive Teenagehood》63/ Be Your Own Captain and Crew

As a teenager, you may feel a little powerless when it comes to your future - what can you do now that will make a significant impact on where you end up? But that is completely the wrong attitude to have, to succeed in life you need these things - a focused mind and a hard working attitude. If you have the motivation to do that grind, to reach your goal whatever it is, you can start right now, today, and here's how.
1. Take the initiative. Don't just sit around waiting for something in this world to come to you because it won't if you don't go and seek it out. Let's say you want to be an actor. You probably won't book a big gig first time round, but look for any role however big or small that you can apply for and do it. Get yourself out there. Send those emails, make those calls. I'm now writing an article and may even have my own column in my local newspaper because of an email I sent yesterday. Yesterday.
2. Hard work always pays off. Stay motivated and never give up. The amount of times I have been so ready to throw in the towel when it comes to this account and give up is staggering but I haven't because this gives a platform to speak on, and to hone my writing skills, and so therefore no matter how stressed I get I always try to update.
3. Believe in yourself. The first step in making your dreams come true is actually believing you can achieve them too. You need to have the confidence in yourself that they won't say no to you.
So rule sixty three of surviving Teenagehood: It's a big world out there, but I think you can handle it.

Sacrificed in Thirty Seconds
A somewhat unusual reincarnation story, where the main character is thrown into a new world and tries to survive. It is a combination of survival/adventure. I wrote it as a fast-paced, action driven story. If you like slice of life, or extensive descriptions, it is probably not for you. This is my first book here, I will not remove it, but do not expect anything special.
