《How To: Survive Teenagehood》30/ Try Meaningful Rather Than Mundane

From the age of about 11 to 13 all I would do with my friends is walk around town and go into the same shops week-in-week-out. And each time we would hang out we would do the same things till it became extremely repetitive. Also my city is pretty small, so there aren't really many shops to go into meaning we would end up going back to the same shops for the sake of doing something.
And I look back and shake my head. Those pointless shopping trips when no-one even needed to buy something that were just to fill time in which no one really spoke to each other weren't anything exciting or memorable. And shouldn't that be what hanging out with friends be? I'm not saying going shopping with your friends can't be amazing and exciting, but if you feel like you and your friends don't do enough exciting things here are some tips for you.
1. Look up what things there are to do in your area. Festivals, concerts, fun runs etc can make for some of the most memorable days of your year. Going to do something out of the ordinary with my friends has led to some of the best stories I have.
2. Don't be afraid to move away from the shops. Go and sit in a park somewhere or go for a walk and just talk with your friends. Put your phones down and just talk. It's one of the best bonding experiences you'll have; away from everyone else, away from distractions, those conversations will be the ones you remember.
3. You don't need to spend a lot of money to have a good time. What happened to getting cheap food and watching films on someone's laptop? I see so many younger girls at my school forming friendships based on material items and how much people can spend when they go out into the city. Friendship shouldn't have a price tag.

4. Go out of your comfort zone. Travel around! Go somewhere new with your friends, see new places and experience new things. Save up to go to that city you've never been to. It's an experience you won't forget, and beats doing nothing.
Those are just some tips on how to really make the most of the time you have with your friends. You want to be able to look back at all the times you shared with your friends and not feel like you could have done more.
So rule thirty of surviving Teenagehood: if you can't fill a book with strange and wacky anecdotes that you and your friends have experienced, then you clearly haven't lived life to the fullest.

Dark Moon Era
When a glorious old civilization was toppled overnight, a strange purple moon rose and thus began the Purple Moon Era. Damn it! What kind of ecosystem was this? The evolution was messy. Even rabbit bites and plants were not to be messed with. How can one survive all this? Evolve into a Purple Moon Warrior? What did this have to do with the Purple Moon? What kind of map was this? The Safety Sector? The Floating Domain? The Darkness Port? The Storm Voyage? The True Capital? The Horror Lullaby List? The resurrection of the Underground Tribe and the prospering Underground City? The Chaos Black Market that suffused the world? The Bloody Road? More importantly, one could end up in a bloody slaughter when dreaming and enter the Dream Domain? Fine, this damned era!

He traversed two paths in total and left them with an empty heart. He traversed the third path and felt a void in his soul. He let others imprison him so he could seek answers and then recreate the Universe. The Answer was found, yet he was left unsatisfied. Led by the Beast that watched the Universe till its destruction, he found new meaning. In the new life he created, he began walking a path of blood. He choked a Prince with one hand and beheaded a King with the other. He killed a General ten kilometers away with an arrow and even dragged a Continent in order to get what he wanted. Yet beyond the never-ending river of blood, the core of his heart blossomed as he found himself a reason to live other than glory. Under the bleak life of chaos, blood flowed to nurture a flower, that bloomed to represent himself. Instead of Emptiness, he found life from death, and as he looked back at the path he had walked, he smiled as blood coated his lips. This is him, trying to find a place where he can gain humanity. == This story focuses on the world and the characters; there would be genocide, fights, and some bloody encounters. Parallel universes exist. Ten years ago, a terrorist organization called Liroli waged an all-out war against the World Order, bent on obtaining the means to travel between these parallel universes. Although the war ended with the government's victory, it was not without consequences. A poisonous element known as Lorine began leaking from the other worlds, bringing a plague that wiped out a third of humanity — the infamous May Death. Those infected gained strange abilities, in exchange for their certain death in a year. To counter the great plague that threatened humanity's survival, the government launched the World Restoration Project: gathering those infected and sending them into Lorine-polluted parallel worlds to seal the leaks between them. But it isn't that easy a task, as many dangers lurk behind these worlds, while those infected must deal with their own looming deaths. This is the story of Jack Waterfelt, the only human in the world immune to the May Death, and the 43rd Sealing Squad.
